Colts to either trade or cut Carson Wentz

Any thoughts on how that one year was so great, but not any more? It was in there once. -
Colts to either trade or cut Carson Wentz
Augie replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because of the roster, coach and GM, I’d think they would be the top choice for any of the top FA’s. They would get to pick from that crop because they have such an attractive situation. -
Tacos and nachos, which, if you think about it……….are kinda the same thing. 🤷♂️ Nothing extravagant planned, but somebody is up to something! The grocery store was PACKED! Couldn’t get a parking spot and they ran out of carts! It looked like right before Thanksgiving!

I enjoy tennis! 😋 I’m afraid this thread has doomed any chance of this happening. Has a hypothetical trade suggested here EVER actually happened?
-
I think the expectation is that they will basically keep doing what they’ve been doing, with a few twists added. I know Josh wanted him, and I think the general continuity is one of the reasons.

Indescribably sad. As they say, you don’t treat temporary problems with a permanent solution. Obviously he was very troubled, and we’ll never know what was going thru his mind, but I’d think the very LAST place I’d do it would be at my mother’s. Feel horrible for everyone related to this tragedy. RIP .

Sean McVay considering stepping away from coaching?
Augie replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
This could be accurate. Win tomorrow and go out the conquering hero. Let the next guy “mess it up” because he was painted into a corner by the salary cap. Get paid millions to talk about football while never losing a game. Then jump back in with your pick of jobs if the mood strikes. He’d be the #1 candidate for every opening. -
I didn’t say faster. I said better. And he would be. I will agree that we could use more speed on offense, and I hope we find it before next season. Who that might be is beyond me, but I’m sure it’s a priority.

They are in fact the same person. They also have a sister named Sybil. Beyond that, the immediate family tree gets fuzzy.

Keyshawn Johnson downplays Mac Jones hype: ‘He ain’t Josh Allen’
Augie replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Keyshawn is someone I try to avoid, like the Booger. I don’t care what he thinks, and I won’t give it a click, but I think this is pretty darn obvious based upon the title. -
Bocce’s is my go to when I get back. It can be my dinner, then my quick breakfast in my hotel room. That was a treat growing up in Williamsville. They didn’t have the location across from Williamsville North HS back then, so somebody had to put some effort in. I tried getting in there right when school let out one time, and gave up due to the long line of kids. I only have so much patience.

Happy Birthday, young fella! The carp is in the mail!

Little known fact: The bribe money spent on these guys is the third highest line item for Bill Belichick’s black ops budget.

I obviously have no idea who will be available or what the best option would be, but I am 100% on board with winning the line of scrimmage on both sides off the ball. Maybe he does fall to #25 because it’s not a “premium position” and he’ll only get so many snaps? IDK
-
You mean the original Dareus?
-
This is the part that’s so hard to tell. Do your homework time! He can be a beast when he wants to. I didn’t think he would be around at #25, but what do I know? 🤷♂️

Get a foot in the door, work hard and prove yourself. Baby steps.

Are you married? That affects your percentages. 😋 Apparently they consider everything. Do they consider aisle seats? I would gladly pay more to be on an aisle rather than being stuck in the middle of a row! Where I am in a row matters a LOT to me.

Improved OLine talent and coaching will make EVERY running back better. And possibly save Josh’s life.

I have no answer. I have no idea how the draft will go. I don’t study it like some others do. And I still wonder who the actual options will be. There are only a few people here I really trust to have valuable opinions. I am not one of them. This is the time of year when I start listening and learning.

You have to read ALL the words. There was a big IF in there. We know for sure, something was wrong with this guy. We don’t know what. Any time this stuff comes up I lean toward taking our time, and getting the facts. Even in court outcomes are somewhat random based upon facts and quality of representation. Just like the kid who shot my son, he will go through the process, and live with the consequences. .
-
I have to wonder how many (if any) of those players will be available at #25.

My son was shot in a car jacking and came within millimeters of his femoral artery from dying on the spot. (My son was hardly innocent, he should not have been there, and he knew it.) He lived, but suffered nerve damage in his left hand. I feel badly for the kid who shot him. I would still feel badly for him if my son had died that day. This kid stood very little chance where he grew up. Anyone who came out of that hell to actually thrive was a damn miracle.

I seriously doubt we will find an understanding based upon what I’ve seen so far, but I’ll take one shot at it. If someone has a mental illness, or is diminished due to something like CTE, I feel sorry for them. They are not “themselves”. They will do things they never would have considered if they were healthy and sober. This guy was crouched in a corner with a gun hiding from Russian mafia. It seems to me he may not have been in his right mind. There is an insanity defense for a reason. NOW, do I feel for the pure victims the most? I do. Including their family and friends. It’s pure tragedy. But I also feel for someone who did something terrible because they were out of their mind. I also feel deeply for his parents, siblings and other loved ones who have to live with this. There are no winners here. I feel badly for everyone.
