This reminded me of a post in the Good Advice thread: “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.” My two cents would be, it’s just not worth it.

This is what Dan Patrick has been saying the defense will be. “I was totally kidding!” It’s flimsy indeed, but difficult to prove untrue. If money changed hands, they both should be banished. With no proof, it will be interesting to see how aggressively the league will go after this.

As I’ve posted before, a friend/client many years ago would host an amazing party on AFC/NFC Championship weekend. Less hype, more football, better chance of a great game. His parties were a notch above what we were used to back then. They were AWESOME! I had hoped to hold one of those this year in our new “party house”. The Bills loss sucked the life out of me. Seriously. It’s not that it was supposed to be a Bills party, but more I just couldn’t think football for a while. By next year we should have our furniture (better than the “soccer chairs” in the media room), and the Bills will be hosting until the Super Bowl!

Respectfully, they were missing their best player, and they STILL were statistically the top D in the league. The D would be seen in a different light if not for a poorly managed 13 seconds. That’s a skewed look, IMO. Every season is a new season. Time will tell what we might trot out there next year. Bob Kraft can probably get you a list of Asian Spas that might help.

I happen to agree with you in some respects. I’m not a jersey guy for a reason. I just don’t see the need to piss on this parade. I met him and his fiancé at the opener. It was her gift to him, as was the Cameo. It was kind and thoughtful. I loved the Knox message. I see no need to knock that. That’s just me being me, and you being you.

I think a lot of those playoff games would have been better if not for guys saving themselves for the Pro Bowl. 😋 An extra bye gives us a longer season, and is only fair to the players. Even if it comes with one extra game (and the related additional money).

The pinnacle was the Bills at Chiefs. That was the best game I think I’ve ever seen, despite the horrific ending. Life goes on. I agree that last night was a close game, but not a very interesting game. I don’t know if that was me and my disappointment, or if it was real. It sure felt real.

Leaving ten$ of million$ of dollar$ on the table would $ting? Is he willing to walk away while he’s one of the very best players in the league, or is he just looking for more dollars. 🤷‍♂️ Don’t get me wrong, I don’t begrudge him either way. If I had to guess, he’d like a little more cash. How they can pay everyone and sustain it is a serious question in my mind. I’m no cap wizard, but it seems like a real challenge long term. BUT, they did all get their ring.

I heard he contacted the Cracker Jacks people about providing the Super Bowl rings last week. Dodged a bullet and escaped that expense! .

I don’t pay much attention to the commercials, but I didn’t love any of them. The game turned out to be exciting at the end. My point was more to the garbage (IMO) halftime show. Since I’m not at the stadium, I don’t need that much time to refresh my drink and hit the head. Rap and disco should be tied together, and flushed forever.

The commercials have NOT been as good as the marginally exciting game, but they were FAR better than the halftime show. Ugh….

Does anyone else remember a time, not that long ago, when we would have given anything just to make a playoff game? Seems we have a bunch of greedy folks here who don’t appreciate what we have. It’s very, VERY hard to be the last team standing.

Except for one game (Colts), we were one play away from winning in every loss. Crappy coaching my ass. Nobody is perfect, including me and you. They will learn from the mistakes. The ST coach is gone. Do you want to trade for another regime? I don’t. Because that would be stupid. Get over it is my suggestion.

Games are not math problems. You play them because there can be different outcomes. We could be there, but we are not. Hopefully next time.

I can’t help but think how much more interesting this could be. It’s just a game. It is not THE GAME.
