  1. I have a peanut can covered in felt making a smiley face my son made in kindergarten. It is FULL of change, I mean a bunch of quarters in there! Plenty to buy quite a few Powerball tickets. That and a few Mead Coins and I think I’m set. ….but I could be wrong. 🤷‍♀️
  2. Knox SUCKS! He has hands of stone! He never even did anything in college, how could he possibly be a decent NFL player? I read that somewhere. All kidding aside, I always loved his upside. (Look it up if you want.) He made the great catches and plays. The problem was NOT his hands. I think he needed to relax and make the catch rather than trying to do too much. He can be a top 5 TE in this league for years to come, IMO.
  3. Just sold our house and inspection turned up that only the outlet by sink was GFCI. Inspection required all kitchen outlets to be GFCI. I didn’t think that was the case, and I might be wrong, but with a full price cash offer with no financing or appraisal contingencies, we have a BUNCH of new GFCI outlets!
  4. I have a SIL who confuses facts with opinions. She thinks her opinions are facts. It’s quite annoying. To each their own. GO BILLS!
  5. Have you bet $5k on that, and more importantly, have you told your wife?
  6. Yeah, but, I mean……other than that…….🤷‍♀️
  7. I was glad to see Miami on the list. Going to a game there before Halloween could kill you. I love the heat, but I’ve been to games in Tampa and Jacksonville that were absolutely unbearable! The seats emptied and people watched on monitors in the concourses to get out of the sun. I’ve turned down free tickets early in the season in Florida. On a side note, I think @Gugny should be sent to the Miami home opener for stirring the dome pot. That guy is a regular rabble rouser!
  8. I can’t answer that. Two is my personal best.
  9. That may have been before the signs in taxis announcing a $150 fine for “peeing, puking or pooping” in the vehicle. They didn’t just make that up - those signs are there for a very real reason.
  10. Funny, mine seems to depend upon the room temp, and which direction you turn the eight ball.
  11. Are you the magic eight ball? How can anybody know anything about this? I’ll pray for good news.
  12. I like Savannah, too. It lacks the jazz, but it doesn’t smell like urine or vomit. So, there’s that…….
  13. Addison making up for a HORRIBLE game last week.
  14. I’m suggesting a 10% pay reduction to the Mods for having a pre-game thread, but no first half thread available at kickoff.
  15. That emoji is adequate, for one end of the equation. To hear the story from the two of them will make you wish you were wearing Depends, as well! 😂 I’m sure they ALL would have given heart felt thanks for another toilet or two! .
  16. It could be worse. Our best friends in Hilton Head moved from a small place outside NYC. They had a few couples in for an early afternoon Thanksgiving, and they all got food poisoning while watching the late game…..in their one bathroom house. 🤮 😰😱
  17. Do you know if he has any plans for Thanksgiving evening?
  18. I think Morse is the only question on the interior, and agree we are set at tackle. Morse I believe has another year on his deal and they may bring someone in to learn behind him. I met his uncle (I believe it was) on the flight to the opener and he said he’d be gone next year. I mentioned I thought he had one year left and he just shrugged and said “well, you know…” Maybe with his concussion history and career earnings he’s decided to get out while the getting is good? If Morse IS gone, then you are correct and the number will be three. Regardless, I hope he is well and he can have a long, happy and healthy life with his family after football.
  19. He has clearly mastered the obvious. How many new starters do you think we’ll have on the OL next year? I’d put the over/under at 2.5.
  20. What’s worse? Getting fired? Or living in New Jersey? I kid, I kid (mostly), there are some surprisingly beautiful parts of NJ. It’s just not my cup of tea for a variety of reasons.
  21. Snowden? Is that you? You would know! (That will fly right past most people.)
  22. I posted above before I read this! You are 100% correct about fearing an Achilles injury! During nice weather I go to a park and mostly walk a trail and throw in a bit of jogging to get my heart rate up and break a sweat. I do it for an hour while listening to sports radio. I absolutely LOVE a good sweat! Flush the toxins out of the body. EDIT: Just looked it up and a 5k is only 3.1 miles +/-. I thought it was more like 3.7 miles in my mind. My routes were 2.5-3 miles in a couple different neighborhoods, so almost a 5k most days of the week. Oh, to be young again. More than a decade ago, but it seems like yesterday! . .
  23. I too have run for 5 min 11 sec, but I didn’t go nearly a mile. I used to have a little 3 mile routine I’d do around the neighborhood before work. On days when I couldn’t get the run in I’d really miss it. On two different occasions I’d do it for almost a year before my left Achilles started hurting. Tennis was my real thing and it can be hard on the Achilles so I gave it up my running. My son and DIL recently decided to run a half marathon (13.1 miles). He’s more of a gym rat than distance runner. Both very fit in their late 20’s. She trained for it, he did not. About half way thru he started having a problem with one foot but he toughed it out. A half marathon out of the blue with zero prep is probably a bad idea at any age. He walked funny for a while! Gave him my wife’s foot massager. I think he considers that box checked.
  24. Twelve hours without a single response. Is that a record? I can think of several reasons.
  25. St Bonaventure ranked #16. Well done!!! https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/rankings Xavier sneaks in at #25 in one poll.
