If you truly want to get insight from the players you follow, and want to maintain a long term relationship, you word that in a way that doesn’t undermine the relationship. Asking something akin to “Are you embarrassed that you sucked in historical fashion?” Really? That is not going to end well. Maybe ask about frustration or what you might have done differently. Implying they should be embarrassed will do nothing but offend them and shut them down. I have to believe he’d like a do-over on that question, but just wanted to get that factoid out.

I’m watching a 2 hour episode on the History Channel right now. Pearl Harbor: 24 Hours After. I’ve seen it before, but had forgotten how badly McArthur comes off. How does he get caught with his pants down twice. Is there more to it? How is he not ready when they hit the Philippines less than 24 hours after Pearl Harbor? He supposedly swore they were ready.
