  1. By all accounts, he’s a pretty good guy. I used to work with a guy who would run into him at brew pubs around town. Would bring in pics to work the next day (half hung over). BUT, that was one hysterical turn of events! 😂 He can afford the fine like I can afford to flush the toilet.
  2. Did he leave his wallet in your car?
  3. Just checking in looking for our next obsession. Out of curiosity I googled Ted Lasso and it looks like next summer before a new season comes out. It appears that the Bosch spinoff (that isn’t a “spinoff”, but a “continuation” - that had to be a money thing in some way) started filming about last June. Those were my favorites. Thinking of starting Ozark or Yellowstone with the wife. Open to suggestions for something fairly light. I’m afraid the Oxy shows would just depress me.
  4. Completely unconvincing. If I figure in the cost of acquisition, the salary cap ramifications and the question about availability, I am 100% behind our scouts getting the next great guy on the cheap for four years. It’s a position that does NOT justify over-investment. .
  5. Improve the offensive line, coaching and scheme and you make all the RB’s better. Period. They don’t need a big “name” RB. “Names” generally mean money wasted.
  6. So, you prefer proven injury risk guys over serious upside guys taken in rounds 2-4 for a minimal fraction of the cost. To each their own.
  7. Since there are no guarantees, would you like to reconsider in a rational way?
  8. But you could always trade your own pick in that round. It’s ammo to move around, for sure.
  9. The Patriots get to keep one of those. Just because………. 🤷‍♂️
  10. But….what if they could bundle him with Luke Kuechly? Does that win you over? 😋 RB’s are only worth so much, and only last so long.
  11. That counts as a serving of vegetables on many school menus. Congrats on your healthy, yet thrifty diet!
  12. College kids and beer money was my first thought, to be honest.
  13. There are places all over Atlanta and most major cities where day laborers gather to find whatever work they can get. I would think there would be a way to find those people and let them get their shovel on.
  14. Yeah? Which one do you leave your wallet in? …and while we’re at it, what is it’s current location?
  15. You want tiny flags??? Hmmmmm I will say, yet again, I don’t really care as long as they remain in WNY. PERIOD. I’m sure we have that part covered, so I’m good. Having said that, I think a dome would help late season attendance. I go early in the season for a reason. I’m an out-of-towner. I would not consider a late season game. That’s NOT a complaint, it’s just a fact. When I was a kid the bad weather games were almost more fun because of the bad weather. I am not a kid anymore, and I have a very nice big screen and a comfy couch. I’m good. MY ideal scenario would be a Minneapolis style facility downtown surrounded by hotels, restaurants and bars. If it were domed I’d consider late season games. The walk to the stadium in Nashville was a far easier and more pleasant experience than me getting near, then into and out of a lot in OP. This is admittedly from an out of towner, and just speaking strictly from that perspective. I could go on and on, but I expect an open air stadium in OP because it’s cheapest and easiest. That will make many people happy, including me. I just hope we have the same great sight lines as we do in The Ralph.
  16. I worry about dealing with people who won’t eat red meat, or ANY meat, carbs and gluten, but things that grow in horse poop are fun so they are on the menu? OK.
  17. So, you’re saying a bad day for flip flops? How many different ways are there to start threads that will end up as a referendum on a domed stadium. It seems to be almost infinite!
  18. Lamar, would you like to check your math there? See, I can’t help myself! No need for that to be public.
  19. Yeah, that’s what we get for opening our mouths. Of course we never learn because, well……..we’re stupid. 🤷‍♂️
  20. I’d rather be called slow than stupid. People who know me well would argue that I am both. 😋
  21. Because it is taken and used by some as the opposite of the Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes select people for outstanding achievement. The Wonderlic scores are used to denigrate people like Vince Young or Lamar Jackson. Surely you’ve seen that. I don’t think transcripts of interviews or video clips of white board sessions belong in the public domain either. Things like height, weight, 40 times, etc. are purely physical. For better or worse, you are not entitled to know my SAT scores. It’s none of your business. And I don’t get you know your SAT scores or how you ranked in your class. If you are applying for a job with ME, that is different. But that doesn’t mean I should post your results in the cafeteria or on a billboard. The Honor Roll recognizes top performers, while the Wonderlic is often used to look down on people for poor performance. You are entitled to your opinion, and we can just agree to disagree. . .
  22. I’m pretty sure my sister-in-law invented that move. I have started a movement to forever have that called a “Marie Louise-ism”. I’m hoping it catches on. 😋 While I’m not offended by it in any way, I’m sure there are better ways to determine whether a guy can be a successful NFL football player. If a guy fails to prepare for it, that does say something since it shouldn’t have come as a surprise to anyone. What does bother me is the way the scores seem to find their way into the public. There is no need for that.
  23. Wait! Are you saying we should NOT fire this coaching group? I’m so confused……. @Virgil I love your stuff and always enjoy it. If you decide it’s time for you to fully enjoy the games, I totally get that. You deserve it, and I’ll respect whatever you decide and remain appreciative of your contributions.
  24. That’s not a good matchup AT ALL. Their strength is our weakness. They are the only team to truly whoop is this year. Every other loss could have turned on a single play. But not the Colts game.
