We did not sign him to get us TO the playoffs. We signed him to get us THRU the playoffs……to the trophy. I like it, save yourself for when it REALLY matters. In the old days I never would have missed a minute of work or school for my symptoms last time around. Only a strange fatigue led me to test before my annual eye appointment. I like my eye doctor too much to expose her to that. A couple other times I had a strangely lingering mild cough, but felt fine otherwise. Strange. .

Absolutely! We drove 9 hours to Florida with a young lady/family friend on 12/19/19. She had just returned from working in NYC. She coughed the entire way, and by Christmas Day my wife put me in the back seat, and she drove the 8 hours home (no wrecks). No test then, but I coughed into February. I was never worried for a second. But I got my shots ASAP. We went to California in June, and I got it again. This time tested, but whatever. I would not have missed a day of work for what I had. But I avoided people for a while. I also would not have skipped the trip for the results. I actually think I’ve had mild cases randomly. I follow the rules. .

How very spicy of you! Tell me, how much time have you spent with him? How many people do you know who have ever spent and hour with him? Are there other successful people you resent? If it strikes a nerve, we are cheaper than a therapist, but I think there are limits.

If I had to guess a scenario, one of the guys ahead of him gets dinged up. Ankle, hammy, whatever. Then he gets a chance to dress and maybe make a name for himself. Honestly, no hate on him, but I love our guys and I hope it doesn’t happen, but I’ve been watching football for a long time. It happens, and we may be pleasantly surprised.

That happened right in front of us. Somebody here tried to tell me that was a myth. You know, one of “them”. I saw it live, I saw it on replay in normal speed and slow motion. Regardless, a bruising running game is what we have been trained to fear, deservedly. This will be a real test. Every game scares me, and this is no exception. I’m cautiously optimistic, especially if we can score early and make them play catch up football. Having said all THAT, the myth that they own us and blow us out every time is in fact just that……..a myth. It’s almost freaky that we didn’t win that game. I heard a stat I can’t source or verify, but Josh was like 14-1 getting a first down on 4th and one, and the only other time he failed was a bobbled snap. Snap happens! 🤷‍♂️

I’ve been to 3-4 games in Nashville. I’ll never forget the first game, sitting next to an older couple. She looked like a frail, old grandmother right out of central casting. Her white hair up in a bun and so petite you’d fear a good breeze might blow her over and break a hip. Then the game started. She started cussing like a sailor at the top of her lungs, and she had one healthy set of lungs! It was absolutely HYSTERICAL!

You seem to be quite excited!!! I mean…..REALLY, REALLY EXCITED! A man of many threads! We all are. But it’s just one game.

Our family had season tix and I collected boxes of those things! Long gone, of course, but they were great! We have a nice man cave that currently only has a Bills banner hanging. I have room for a few select movie posters, and in another section I plan to have a collection of those old program covers in frames. I’m thinking Patriots, Jets, Dolphins (division foes) and Oilers games (I was actually looking at the one above). I think they are about $25 to $30+/- each, so it’s not a huge investment, but any old Bills fan walking in will have an instant appreciation for those iconic pieces of art. I think the son (?) of the guy who did those covers was a poster here at some point. Maybe still is? Nice legacy to bring a warm feeling to people with your art long after you are gone. Good news for Monday night? They added another Rally bus from my location. Bad news? Hotels rates almost doubled in the last 10 days. .

Rodgers worst quality is his unwillingness to take chances, and make plays. The guy doesn’t have comeback wins because he plays it too safe. Not to mention his smugness. I’ll take the guy who is all about winning over the guy who just wants to look good while thinking he’s better than everyone else. Screw award chasers. I’ll take Josh! .

It would have been a good bit worse if Diggs had realized Ramsey had fallen down behind him and not just stepped OB after one catch. You could see he was upset when he realized Ramsey was on the turf.

I have not yet had a single complaint from a neighbor. We are in new territory.

This is the time to go mistake free, and say “sorry, but you can’t keep up.” That was my cocky personality. I’m scared to death!
