  1. Not a Tacoma, but I have loved my Toyotas (currently driving an Avalon) and my son swears by his 4Runner. If he got a new car today, he’d probably shop for another 4Runner.
  2. Bad news - I will be in attendance and they have a shockingly bad record when I attend in person. FYI - I can be bought.
  3. Has “Doomed” been trademarked yet?
  4. You and Aaron Rodgers. Wait, maybe that guy just looked like him.
  5. Anything from a bowling ball. …..unless it’s from a bowling ball.
  6. He has played 7 seasons, and nobody expected too much early from a raw QB new to the league. Since then he’s been to two AFCCG’s, so I can be patient rather than being (imo) rash and emotional. I like our odds best on this path, despite those who disagree.
  7. And I’m having a blast! Are you not enjoying these seasons? It will be that much better when it comes, like your mother told you when you were hungry but dinner wasn’t ready yet.
  8. It’s the same here I think. I know we ate the sales tax benefit, but it was worth it to help out the niece with her first post-college car that was not a hand me down from her parents. We could have gotten that and it’s still a nice win for everyone, but the wife really likes this niece. The $800+/- means a lot more to her than us. .
  9. To have a chance each and every year beats trying to catch lightning in a bottle with a sloppy team development plan. I’ll stand by that.
  10. I think it just goes to demonstrate the number of things that have to fall just the right way.
  11. ….and lost. They have also missed the playoff for 3 of the last 5 years. I’ll pass. I like our plan much better.
  12. I’m pretty sure that is Danny Almonte’s little brother.
  13. There has already been talk of you slowing down a bit, but you remain one step ahead of the Turk!
  14. I think we can conquer them using our wisdom. Who am I kidding? This crowd? Wisdom? Sometimes I crack myself up! 🤣
  15. I don’t think the problem is attracting events as much as it is who has an extra BILLION they want to throw in for a dome? People are complaining about the cost as-is, so I’m not sure how something much more expensive would have gone over with the locals paying for much of it. For the record, I wanted a dome downtown, but I’m happy the Bills will remain in WNY. That’s my bottom line.
  16. I remember when we used to look at teams like the Bills current roster and pray for good starters from their scrap heap. It’s nice to be on this side of the equation.
  17. My wife kept hearing they would give her $10k for the trade-in. They were just going to clean it and mark it up a few grand, so she sold it to her niece for $10k. Win/win for us.
  18. ….or, maybe you bought the wrong seats. It is what it is, and it will not be a dome. There are seating options for everyone, including on a couch in your family room. Nothing wrong with any of that.
  19. All the people who hate the soft zone that keeps everything in front of the defense might not like giving up quick 85 yards TD’s with tighter coverages and less room for error. There are tradeoffs involved. I’d like to at least see a little more variety to keep teams wondering, but that will come with a price at times.
  20. No, I really have zero desire to watch that. But my wife did, so that says something. I know TayTay is smart, she has to be to accomplish what she has accomplished. I’ll also be glad when her boyfriend retires and goes away, because I want her to disappear along with him. She does not appear in my normal life, only as a byproduct of the NFL. Enough already.
  21. Yeah, but the Dolphins wished it was colder, so there’s that.
  22. My wife signed me up, and I recently learned they blocked me in 2021 because someone tried or did hack my account. I had no idea I was blocked, but I don’t think I missed anything. 🤷‍♂️
  23. We’re averaging about a page a day, so we really need to pick up the pace before Jerruh does what he always does……pay too much because he enjoyed the attention he got while waiting. Once he signs we have a few pages complaining about how badly we failed, but then real football will start happening and it will fade away. Until there is a time to point to our many failings sometime years down the line, nothing is ever truly forgotten.
  24. I have earlier memories, but I vividly recall my sister having a friend over and I was annoying them as they played in the basement. I got in trouble and had to go upstairs with my parents. We watched JFK’s funeral, with the horse drawn carriage taking his casket down the road. That was just a few weeks after my 4th birthday and I remember it more clearly than some things that happened last week. I have other things from much later in life that are annoyingly unclear to me. As @frostbitmic noted above, it’s amazing what the mind selects to store away and make available, while some other things remain a foggy mystery, or just disappear from your mind.
