  1. I think it’s part of our DNA or something, somewhere in that little wormy thing.
  2. That’s a whole lot of happiness right there!!!
  3. So does he just turn down offers from other teams ahead of us, like some team with a possibility but not eliminated? Can he do that due to his tenure? That’s like picking a team. Might as well be a FA if that’s how it works. What am I missing here? .
  4. That was a lot funnier than the page full of Chinese characters I get when I click on anything Facebook!
  5. Only now do I regret that my Facebook account got locked for some reason several years ago.
  6. It said ESPN, so I didn’t click. Problem solved!
  7. Ride share to get TO the stadium is probably fine, but executing your exit may be much more problematic. What driver in their right mind would intentionally drive INTO that stadium traffic trying to get away from the lots? Where would you meet them? How far from the stadium are you willing to walk to make pickup easier? I was there for the opener and parking at Hammers seemed fairly normal (arriving at 7:00am) to me despite being right next to the new stadium. Good luck with the weather. I haven’t been to a December game in Buffalo in many years. I may be getting too old for that. .
  8. I wasn’t even brave enough to click on the link. I can’t afford to lose sleep over this stuff.
  9. Well, there is that. But we did have the one game where we tried to force it to him early. That was confusing. I like the more recent offense better. Let’s peak at the right time this year! If he is the Super Bowl MVP, I’ll buy the first round!!! *Must be present to win*
  10. It’s funny, but we have a very well regarded architect in our neighborhood. He’s done some of the finest homes in Atlanta in some of the most prestigious areas, but he takes on projects all over the place. My wife had him come look at our kitchen to redesign. He was kind enough to come and take a look and give us a plan. When he left I explained to my wife she just asked Renoir to come over and paint our bathroom. As he walked around the rest of the house he noticed my Bills stuff in the man cave. He said his wife was going on a beach vacation with people, but he’s not a beach guy, so he was going to Buffalo for an architectural visit. About 48 hours later I was getting pics of wings and beer. I mentioned the pizza is special too, and 20 seconds later I had a pic of a slice. ANYWAY…. It turns out one of his projects at the time was an amazing place in Detroit. He said it was the grandest property built there in the last century. I hope it’s true and they are going in the right direction, not just some idiot Piston in a rush to file bankruptcy. Sorry, that got long.
  11. Sadly, I don’t blame them.
  12. It was LOUD! That jumped out. I guess Detroit doesn’t draw opposing fans the way Nashville, Vegas, LA, Miami in the winter and some other places do. I’ve been to road games where it seemed like there were more Bills fans than those for the home team. I’m guessing this wasn’t one of those.
  13. He won’t be mentioned as the best ever, but I believe Butch Byrd is the most underrated Bill ever. You’d think the team’s all-time interception leader would at least be up on the Wall.
  14. That’s what you get for watching ESPN.
  15. Isn’t this the guy @PromoTheRobot has been telling us about? Good call, sir.
  16. Elam and Bishop have something in common…….They both look great when they look great. The highs are great, but the lows are the kind of thing we try to avoid. Wisely, I might add. Elam may be getting there, but I’m not as sure with Bishop. Get everyone healthy and play the guys who make decisions we can trust.
  17. I like the sentiment, but high achieving people usually want to keep going, to reach the top. It’s usually about more than money. They have been moving around trying to climb the mountain their entire lives.
  18. My son had a nasty stinger in HS. People don’t realize how debilitating it can be. He played QB and couldn’t feel his left hand for a few weeks. Not good. The medical clearance the school wanted for him to play again was easy to get. A girl in his class had a dad who is a neurologist and they actually made a house call together to our home. Dad was leaning NO until his daughter started whining it was Senior Night. 😂 I’m not sure we got the best possible medical evaluation. Oops! A decade later he went back to a sports doc because certain things related to all that were still nagging him at the gym. NFL players have earned that money.
  19. Brilliant strategy! Go to work for the “poor” super stingy cheap guy! He’ll never eat that contract!
  20. It almost felt personal. Who did you say the offensive genius was? 😂 That felt clever and innovative from the beginning to me. Maybe it was the late start that allowed a little extra pre-gaming. Hard for me to say for sure.
  21. After the long Coleman catch Hollins made sure that scrum fell forward. I loved the attitude and the result.
  22. I hurdle ghosts.
  23. I hate it too. The price of being an attraction that is fun to watch, I’m afraid. People want to see at least one of the teams as opposed to some other dog games where both teams suck. I seem to recall the other options were not too appealing, and the Josh Show is hot.
  24. My standing answer has always been that Bruce was the best player I’ve ever seen in a Bills uniform. I know there is recency bias involved, but Josh has supplanted him in my mind. What he’s doing this season is absolutely incredible!
  25. When we win they have to quietly bide their time until we lose a game. Then the flood gates open. I swear some look forward to being proven right by the Bills losing in the playoffs. Personally, I enjoyed last night immensely. The Lions are the #1 team in terms of points scored/game for a reason. I’m not surprised they put up points, but I liked that we had a decent cushion most of the time.
