  1. Gee! That really makes me want to check it out! 😂 Somehow that is one my wife got into and somehow I did not. Maybe it’s what she does when I watch too much sports? 🤷‍♂️ .
  2. My wife plowed thru Adolescence in an afternoon. The way she described it made it sound a bit disturbing, so I’ve opted for other things so far.
  3. I no longer watch any NBA, even the Finals, and I change the channel when the NBA becomes the topic. NIL and the transfer portal have me sitting on the edge as far as college hoops goes. It doesn’t bother me when I miss seeing my team play a game. I no longer travel to see them play. My interest is rapidly waning. As for the NFL, I’m not just disinterested, I’m a little bit angry. I don’t watch much NFL other than the Bills. My tolerance for their greed has limits.
  4. That will make the beer feel more affordable. I like it.
  5. https://apple.news/AZcX-EViHSj67Lmc9oYyL8Q “Michael Biehn said his co-star dove so deeply into his character as Doc Holliday that Val Kilmer ceased to exist. "People ask me what it's like to work with Val Kilmer. I don't know. Never met him. Never shook his hand. I know Doc Holliday, but I don't know Kilmer."”
  6. Have you tried therapy? 😊 Honestly, I try to get to town once a year, and if it worked I’d love to see it.
  7. How often do you play? What kind of venues? And all the other obvious questions. Congrats!
  8. ….and by a little, we mean many million$. I hope they can close the gap to an acceptable level. We need guys who can score from anywhere.
  9. Why does Norm from Cheers come to mind when I think of how the numbers could be skewed??? 🍺 🍻 🍺 We loved that show. It was part of Thursday Taco Night when we were first married. .
  10. I generally agree with you, but last Christmas was weird as empty nesters. No kids, no grandkids, we visited my mother at the nursing home then sat around the house. By Christmas afternoon my wife was fighting the urge to go up to her office and work. She lost. We were both bored and I could have watched a bunch of football. You get to an age where Christmas Day isn’t always on Dec 25th. You just do the best you can as families go in all different directions. I have zero complaints, in fact, it sort of extends the spirit of the season a bit.
  11. Geez, first response. Beat me to it by a country mile! 😂
  12. I think that @HOUSE Could have signed him for an ashtray less. .
  13. Classic formula, it almost seems too obvious. 🤷‍♂️
  14. Why recruit and project with HS kids when you can wait and see what they become? Who grew 5”? There are few Cooper Flagg’s in the world, and I’m glad I got to see a bit before he left for the NBA. EDIT: I do NOT watch the NBA, and I change channels if they talk about it. I used to love the Braves, but it’s all gone to hell. .
  15. This is like pick up play at the Y for mercenaries. Xavier had a nice guard they brought in this year who did well, now he’s on the market for $1.5-$2mil. I don’t know about others, but as my interests wanes so does my revenue stream. I’m not paying MORE for NIL, I’m just going to care less. That means I quit making trips for games, buying gear and adding to viewership, therefore hurting TV revenue.
  16. ……and the worst contract structure ever by Town Idiot Haslam. Will the other owners sit with him at the meetings? Or are they like billionaire middle schoolers? 😂
  17. Well, she didn’t get past Marshawn Lynch!
  18. No, I’m afraid I’ve never delivered a package that got that kind of response. 😢
  19. I went to Harvard. I almost bought something in the bookstore.
  20. I heard it was quite the kerfuffle! I like to work that in when I can. 😊
  21. I saw an interesting clip with Greg Cosell (which is probably in this thread) where he said he really liked him coming out of college and he likes his game…..he just can’t explain the lack of greater production. It made me curious if it was the player, the scheme or something else. 🤷‍♂️
  22. Jay Wright had plenty of success at Villanova as well, but decided he didn’t want to play by the new rules, and I don’t blame him one bit. The new rules kinda look like no rules.
  23. We flew into Salt Lake City with the young boys and needed a meal asap. Downtown was empty and what might have been former restaurants were boarded up. We finally found a Hilton or something and figured they must have a restaurant. A town without much of a pulse, from what we saw. But they are the home of the JAZZ! 😂 Was nobody paying attention?
  24. I’m almost afraid to ask what it is the state has to offer that you are thinking about. In Utah. 😊
  25. The big guy for Auburn looks like Kramer’s little brother against the karate class in the alley.
