  1. 🤮
  2. I’m not a huge eater, and I VERY rarely do fast food, but I love Jersey Mike’s #5, and it’s super cheap.
  3. Did the owner of the bar create that game? 😋 Wings cannot be “over-sized”, nor flabby. Period.
  4. Random alert. Can I just throw in, I would not want him as my QB. It’s for a year or two, or whatever he blesses us with. He’s a diva and I hope the NYC media devours his snide arse. I feel better. Thank you.
  5. I’m glad it’s not just me! Maybe it’s odd, but I don’t love the “jumbo” wings. My favorite wings ever were from some place on Transit in a little house on the east side of the road around East Amherst. Rosie’s? AWESOME! (It’s possible that is influenced by my youth and state of mind.) Wings should be a certain size. There IS such a thing as too big.
  6. We used to go to Duffs on Sheridan for “wings”……..a/k/a pitchers of beer. I was 15-16, and one of us might have been 18. My,my, very different times. I don’t remember if I could eat volumes of wings then. I remember they brought buckets, but I don’t know if I could pound them the way the others did. I’m good with 3-5 wings, tops. I was having lunch with a buddy at a pizza joint. He wanted some wings too, so I thought the small order of 6 was good, with a couple for me and the rest for him. He said they were good as leftovers (as a friend, I corrected him) and ordered 20 wings. I ate my two and he ate the rest. AND his pizza. I could not do that on a bet. EDIT: How many wings can you people eat? I don’t need a special. I think I got old! .
  7. Does he share a secret handshake with TO? It would cost millions to prove him wrong, so I’ll just ignore him.
  8. We have to account for “wingflation”. I can’t get a gallon of gas for $0.25 either. 🤷‍♂️ But for a while there it seemed like we had “super wingflation”. Like the Mortimer and Randolph had cornered the chicken wing market! . .
  9. Jails and prisons should put 17 years of drought and misery on a loop for particularly heinous offenders! I was young and my parents had taken us to visit friends a good drive away. I fell asleep on then way home. I think we were playing the Raiders. When I woke up my dad told me we almost had the same score. Huh? We lost 31-13.
  10. But…………… he can’t turn. 😋
  11. I know how unpopular this is, but I expect to see more of “Good Gabe” this year if he stays healthy.
  12. And I hope it’s the NYC media who throws the first dirt on his grave. You’re not in Green Bay anymore, you smug Diva.
  13. We keep excess cash at Barclay’s and transfer chunks in or out as needed. I haven’t looked at the current rates, but figure the rising tide will raise all ships, to some degree. We haven’t done anything different regarding credit cards. Chase Sapphire is the daily use card. When we moved about a year ago we wanted to just pay for the house with cash. That has an enormous appeal to it. But we listened to the less emotional advisors around us and took a modest mortgage. That 30 year loan under 3% is looking pretty attractive right now. As someone recently said to me, not everybody loves their house, but a lot of people in recent years are LOVING their mortgage!
  14. Publix OWNS Sarasota, and pretty much every surrounding market. They are located about every 2 miles in any direction. They want to be sure nobody can break into “their turf”. Publix is like a Hampton Inn to me. They will never “WOW” you, but they don’t disappoint, either. They are NOT cheap, however. When I realized I could get fish and other stuff cheaper at Whole Foods, that was eye opening. Kroger, on the other hand, has big swings in store quality. Some are fabulous, better than any Publix I’ve seen. Others, like the one closest to me, are dumps, and the calibre of staff is noticeably different. Pay those people and maybe throw in some dental insurance. So, the Orlando airport has something in common with The Ralph! I live in Atlanta, and I wish I could fly out of almost anywhere else. The crowds, especially trying to get thru security, can be INSANE. Getting around is easy enough once you get inside, but getting in is a serious hassle. Even parking in ATL is a pain. The North and South garages are often full, so you have to build in more time in case you need to use the new(er) West garage and take the sky train in. Not difficult, but it will take more time if you have to use it.
  15. The little pleasures in life are often underrated. 😋
  16. We should just make this deal for #27 with a two year extension. I think the riot that would ensue might be even more fiery and amusing! 😋
  17. Oh, how I wish we had a Wegmans near us. Is that a strange thing to wish for? I’m in a grocery store 5-6 days a week.
  18. And then you’ll have to be the highest bidder, but could it POSSIBLY be worse than his current contract? Why give up a significant draft pick, unless it’s been negotiated on all three sides and everybody is content?
  19. But you have “Unlimited Salad and Breadsticks”, right?
  20. We might not want to make any shopping cart jokes. I think @HOUSE is living out of his. Please tread gently.
  21. Oddly, I pride myself on being a net positive on cart return. I’ll grab one in the corral for a test drive in, or better yet find someone who just finished emptying it and offering to save them the trip or the guilt of a less than ideal disposal. That always gets a warm thank you. EDIT: I just realized the article was about moral character. Never mind. I’m screwed there! 😂
  22. That is very kind and generous of you to protect the jobs of those simply working hard to feed their families. Bravo to you, sir! You might want to elevate to spilling everything on the canned vegetable aisle onto the floor. They will have to hire more staff and feed more children.
  23. A Zaxby’s opened about a mile from us maybe 5 years ago. I eat out A LOT (like lunch daily) yet I’ve never been in any Zaxby’s, even the one right up the road. Anyone have opinions on Zaxby’s? I guess I should try it. 🤷‍♂️ I’ve never even heard of Raising Cane’s, so I guess they are not around here.
  24. Well, better to be locked IN than OUT in that case! It’s Sunday. We will go hungry. 🤷‍♂️
  25. I don’t understand how people can have an opinion without knowing the financial side of things. Are we paying what is due on his contract? No thank you. How much can we get his cap number down? How much will the Cardinals pay? What does a restructure look like? Only then can I determine how I feel about it.
