  1. We will all know IN LESS THAN A WEEK!!! Yeah! Bring it on!
  2. So…..my lovely bride who you met at the opener just said “so, if true, what you’re saying is Thanksgiving won’t happen before 4:00 PM.” Yep, that’s pretty much it! Heavy on hors’devours! I just hope I’m in a good mood when we sit down to eat!
  3. I am generally a proponent of Bills games on Sundays at 1:00 PM. I like the routine. I know some people love the excitement of prime time and I get that, but I like my routines. HOWEVER, somehow we became the home to Thanksgiving a couple decades ago. Family and friends, a real houseful! Usually a couple dozen or so. As much as I like my routines, I absolutely LOVE a house full of family and friends while I’m beginning with mimosas, moving on from there and celebrating a Bills victory! It makes for a VERY special holiday!
  4. You’ve been here 20 years today? You’re obv………………..getting old! Wait. I’m older than you, so you must have joined as a child. Yeah, that’s the ticket! I freely admit I would have gotten this wrong based on what little I had seen of his college play. I was afraid he’d be another EJ. This is why we pay professionals and let them do their jobs! I am THRILLED to be THIS WRONG! .
  5. I would need to see the photos to decide.
  6. That will be the NEXT three years, in the playoffs before we advance to the Super Bowl, silly! I’m very eager for the Bills to return to Atlanta, but that’s just me being selfish. .
  7. But, other than that………. 🤷‍♂️ Interesting that he is Cooper’s son. I’d love to know what Cooper might have done as a player, but I’m glad he didn’t take the risk.
  8. I can’t remember the last time I heard good new music. It’s hard to come by these days. On that we can agree. I haven’t read all the posts here, so it’s good to hear nobody is joking about it. It’s easy pickings. If you don’t recognize the tragedy in this, I don’t know what to say. Just because they are filthy rich doesn’t mean it can’t be tragic. They are people, real people, so I care. I hate to see people in misery, even if it appears they brought it on themselves. It usually appears that it was self-induced, but it is so much more complicated. If you think the “golden days” of Hollywood didn’t include drug and alcohol abuse, adultery and all the other stuff, you are kidding yourself. This is just a little more extreme, and FAR more public. A sign of the times.
  9. It’s easy to make fun of their lifestyles, but I just can’t right now. This is tragic all around. I know it’s hard to relate to how they live, but they are just people trying to get by. People with FAR more money than we can begin to fathom, but that can be a curse as well as a blessing. Money doesn’t necessarily bring good things. And I can do without fame altogether.
  10. RIP - but I’m glad to say I had absolutely no idea who that was.
  11. Just imagine what he could do to a burning table!
  12. Beane’s vote counts for a billion and comes with veto power over our votes. What a tyrant!
  13. Ford is WAY too high on BOTH of those lists. This feels like the last camp for Cody in WNY. Can they get anything for him?
  14. Didn’t he have very similar words when he left Denver to win a ring in LA? He’s a true pro. Period. He will give you everything he’s got, and as long as he stays healthy, that is A LOT! Save him for big games and the playoffs. Let him be Super Bowl MVP!!! His value is more than his game stats in-season. He is the consummate veteran winner.
  15. Does that mean I’m free to go back to my normal morning routine? I looked different when I was 50. Not THAT different, but then I couldn’t safely go to a tailgate with you folks if I looked just like that, so it’s not ALL bad.
  16. Either way, kinda romantic. Gets the wife……in the mood. 😋
  17. Do NOT make fun of my summer home! I can crack those back windows on a cool summer night and enjoy the sound of the cicadas!
  18. Do you have any availability on your lawn? Maybe a window table in hell?
  19. Can he get to the QB???
  20. Maybe telling Von to raise his standards? Only so much room for old guys! . Dane needs to know his place!
  21. I very happy that you found something that is effective for you. That is what counts! I don’t care where anyone stands on weed. What anyone wants to do behind closed doors (within reason of course) is nobody else’s business, and that includes the government, IMO. We have a family friend (who was very good to our son) who spent years in prison for selling weed. Seriously. How marijuana got lumped in with “hard drugs” is mystifying. I used to work with a guy who does not smoke only because his wife disapproves. He made a good point about weed as a “gateway drug”. Making it legal would send you to a dispensary rather than some seedy dealer somewhere who also was offering cocaine (which may or may not be laced with fentanyl) and an entire menu of actually dangerous drugs. Making it legal actually keeps you farther away from the scary stuff. Happy 4/20 to those who celebrate!
  22. You would not like life in backwards, hillbilly Georgia. We don’t even share a border with a state where it is legal. I have to wonder how long it will take them to wake up.
  23. If you saw me today, you wouldn’t know I have a Bills Tee Shirt under my sweater. No telling how many Bills boxers you missed! I know a lot of people like the respect and attention of prime time games. I’m not really one of them. My internal clock says the Bills should play at 1:00 on Sundays. I’m a creature of habit. I get how the others feel, and that’s OK too. I just like my routine.
  24. Just now reading a Rolling Stone article and there is probably a very good reason he sounds that way….it seems to be his natural state.
  25. Maybe Depp vs Money is more apt. He seems to be waging war on his fortune! Maybe he could remake Bruster’s Millions! A French village? WTF? https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/31/how-johnny-depp-blows-2-million-a-month.html
