Fondue is one of my favorites, too!

I’m tied up and can’t watch, but I’m guessing this is a great piece. How can I be so sure? It says Josh is mic’s up. Sounds like must see TV!

I wonder if anyone posting here put $5k on the Bills? What was the spread? And did he tell his wife???

Not to get too far off track, but our old friend was able to go to work in the morning rather than have a 24-48 hour tequila hangover! 🤢 🤮 In an attempt to get back on track, if he had had access to a dispensary (they were in FL, right?) he would had had safer options. I know, I’m the first to say let the facts come out, but there should be safe options everywhere. I might need to have you talk to my wife on that one. How many decades do you have to repeat it before she believes it??!! Give her a half glass of wine and she’s got the whole room voting as to whether this could be true! 😂

Apparently, weed ain’t what it used to be! We have old friends who recently told us the story of the time he took one hit too many out on the deck late at night. He sat there for a while, then decided it was getting late and he should go inside. He had about 10 steps to take to get inside onto the couch. About halfway, he knew he wasn’t going to make it. He went down. From weed! He landed on the threshold with his legs on the deck, his torso inside and a carpet burn on his face! The wife couldn’t move him, so she put a pillow under his head and went to bed leaving him in the wide open doorway in bear country. 😂 Weed…..It’s not what it used to be. .

Prison overflow? Keep a close eye on the towels!

We drove down to see the Orange Bowl (FSU vs Notre Dame) one year and got off at the wrong exit. It’s hard to believe you are still in the USA. It was terrifying and we worried we might not get out. I had a client once get robbed and carjacked in Miami. The cops showed up (one car) and my clients said “they just left, right up this road”. They were told the cops didn’t go in there with just one car, far too dangerous. That reminds me of the old joke: You know what the best thing is about Miami? It’s so close to the US! It’s another world, with extreme wealth and extreme poverty and violence in fairly close proximity. As for the “why” of this shooting, I thought I read there was an intent to not actually PAY for the drugs. Some details may come out, but I suspect we’ll never know the full story. It’s just incredibly sad all around.

Ready for some preseason football ⁉️ NFLN coverage!

Oh, you should be fine. Do you have a bike helmet or something you can wear? -
I wish some people could see the obvious: somebody lost a son over this. No, he probably wasn’t a saint. It’s not news to you, but nobody on this board is a saint, and nobody should be murdered in cold blood over something that appears to be so trivial. A family is grieving, and I think it’s appropriate to focus on that right now. Maybe later, when more facts are known, we can start to understand what happened here and why. In the meantime, it’s not our place to play judge and jury here. All I know is I’ll pray for the family. This is far, far too common, especially in some areas.

Hey! I resemble that remark!

Watson was the LAST guy who should get a fully guaranteed contract with the legal issues and questions about availability hanging over his head. They did the OPPOSITE of what rational minds would have done. I agree though, the Murray deal seems to say the rest of the league knows what a boneheaded move that was.

I was shipped in to St Joe’s for high school, and that was as close as I got to downtown. I had two completely different sets of friends. I had the kids I spent the school days with, then the friends who lived out near me. There was very little overlap in those crowds. A bit strange as I look back on it, but it certainly could have been worse.

Do you think the Pegula’s fired up the private jet? I’ve loved our Bills for a loooong time. I’ve just never understood the obsession with another person’s signature. I had a tennis racquet used and signed by the Bryan brothers at Wimbledon (forget who used it, but won in a drawing at an exhibition from their former coach). A tennis buddy is an electrician and came to the house when I had an issue. He spent most of a day, then wouldn’t let me pay him. I gave him the racquet at the courts the next day. To him it was like a million dollars. I made space in my closet. Not right or wrong, just……different views. .

For what it’s worth, I’m guessing Brittany is not too worried. I heard something similar happened at a Browns practice, but they weren’t looking for autographs, just disposing of the gear they had accumulated back when they could actually tolerate their team. .

Let me start with this: I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about. If that doesn’t make you want to read on, I don’t know what will! I grew up mostly in Williamsville/Amherst and only went to the stadium on game days or an occasional concert, and NEVER went downtown. I left for college when I was 17 and rarely went back after that. But…..when I go back now for a game I’ll often stay downtown and I would LOVE some kind of a shuttle or light rail option to get to games. When I don’t stay downtown I stay on Main St in Williamsville (Hampton Inn). If downtown had a shuttle option I’d move to a hotel there for game day transportation. I realize it’s probably not easily accomplished or it would be done already, but I’d love that option. Regardless, as I’ve said all along that as long as they stayed in WNY I’d be happy with any location with or without a dome. GO BILLS! .

Bryant Young HOF Speech: 11 minutes of tremendous emotion

On a related note, our grandson is here today. It’s such a joy to have him, and part of our son, spending time with us. He’s only 8…..and still adorable. -

Yeah, that went about the way I expected……. I’m glad I waited until I was alone. That is a club nobody should ever belong to. As someone once said to me, our lives will always be defined by before, and after. Life goes on, but nothing is the same after you bury your child. -
BUTCH BYRD!!! for the wall. I think we’ll be “fine” early on, and then just get better. .

I did. And it scared me! 😱

Even back then, the rumor was decades old that Ralph was cheap. I think Keith Richards might have started that rumor, and then the universe. I kid, a couple of all-time great names there. I remember watching Butch Byrd covering Warfield at the Rockpile. It was 24 vs 42 I believe? Wow, that seems like another lifetime.

Serious question: which rides do you like the best? Short rides and stay in a busy area? Long rides? Area to area? I have a buddy who would take a guy from Cincinnati to Dayton before sunrise, and sometimes bring him back. The guy was a pilot of some sort and he didn’t know if he was needed until he arrived. It’s nice to be paid for 50 minutes of driving up the road listening to music….while being paid. It isn’t as great when he drives home alone. And unpaid. But he enjoyed it. 🤷♂️ Whatever makes you happy.

I have to save this for later. -
Maybe………he just wants to see his son catch passes from Josh Allen? 🤷♂️
