  1. …….to what?
  2. He doesn’t need a big crowd, he just needs a crowd. As far as he is concerned my wife and myself constitutes “a crowd”. About a year ago they threw a party and invited a bunch of their “amateur” musicians. It was really fun, but his college age daughter was running some board and got frustrated. She said “Dad, no matter what I do, you are still the loudest.” To which he said some thing like “yeah, and that’s the way it’s gonna stay!” I’m actually the opposite. I’d love to be rich, but I’d HATE to be famous. We’ve known a few famous people, and I can tell you they really prefer the rich part! My wife is the one who likes to get up and get the crowds attention. I could speak in front of groups just fine, but I’m happier outside of the spotlight. .
  3. This could also fit in the “awesome” thread. I hope you had a blast! I have a good friend who is a successful banker. But I think he does it just to pay for his musical gear and home studio. His favorite thing in this world was getting up and performing for a good crowd with his band.
  4. My first thought…..was how puny that Reggie White contract seems right now!
  5. Did you know they have a pill for that?
  6. I’ll root for anyone battling cancer.
  7. My wife worked with someone who had a cheating husband. She caught them in the act in the car and snuck up and opened the door with one of them spilling out onto the sidewalk…..while she videoed the whole thing. That women scorned stuff? It’s for REAL!!!
  8. Is nothing sacred? 🤷‍♂️ At least they threw some clothes out for them, and the guy put his hat on first. Hmmmm
  9. I believe they asked for privacy, and I’m inclined to give them just that. There would appear to be a short list of likely possibilities, but I don’t need to know. It won’t change anything and it won’t bring him back. Just like when Kim Pegula was ill, details are none of my business unless they want to share. Being a public figure is not all-encompassing. I just hope they can find peace in time. Losing a child is absolutely devastating. But maybe that’s just me…..
  10. Things can taste a little different at 3am, for some reason. 🤷‍♂️ . The egg plays the role of the entree, in this case. And then @Royale with Cheese dips it in ranch dressing. Other than that he seems ok.
  11. Thanks for posting this. I thought I had a freezer full of smoked possum spine, but we must have used it all. BRB……I’ve got to run to the country store! Being a Thursday night makes it a little weird. There will be no guests, so I’ll probably just grill some wings or go with some beef on weck.
  12. I don’t know if you’d like or hate this, but we saw him recently on his Everything But The Hits Tour. It was good, but on our first time seeing him after years of wanting to, playing a few hits wouldn’t be a crime. I would binge some Bill Burr videos on my iPad before I missed a Bills game, but to each their own. I got some Kathleen Madigan tickets before the schedule came out a couple years ago. My wife went with a friend, while I traveled to the game.
  13. That sounds right, and Kirk refused the shots….or even being “immunized” as far as we know.
  14. Ahh, many of us have been there over the years. Myself included. Our Bills family is always there for us! We are among friends. And those other guys, but we’ll ignore them for now.
  15. Don’t TAKE the fun out of my tailgates! Please, leave the hot dog alone!!!
  16. Sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder? 🤷‍♂️ .
  17. It’s a mystery to me. Most of the people we know who are on the spectrum have limitations of some type, but often exceptional skills in other ways. I guess we all play the hand we are dealt. Best wishes to everyone. .
  18. Maybe he was seeking treatment for an eating disorder??? He’s one step above the “cat lady”. I don’t know what happened, but he’s looking a bit gaunt.
  19. We got Covid on a trip to California in late June. The wife’s employer said she had to stay out for 5 days, then provide a negative test to return to the office. The testing place (and the health dept employee who later called her) said she wouldn’t have a negative test for about a month. We were both fine, I never would have missed a minute of work or school for the symptoms, but the strange fatigue told us something was up. The testing place offered a letter saying she was basically “safe to return”. I thought some players recently missed some time after testing positive, but I don’t remember the details.
  20. This is not Falls related, but I might get a helpful response here. I just started looking for tickets, hotel, etc for the home opener. I plan to stay in Williamsville where I grew up at least the first couple nights, then maybe move downtown. Just starting to form a plan. The question is this: does anyone have a feel for how reliable Uber is around town? I had a bad experience not TOO long ago where I kept getting “no drivers available”, despite being quoted $34 for what used to be a $7-8 ride. I’m glad it was only 3 miles, because I ended up walking. (Yes, I know I could have taken a taxi, but the convenience sucks compared to Uber and it was only 3 miles.) After that I started “faking rides” to see if I could get a driver. It was hit or miss. I was a HUGE Uber user prior to Covid and the world getting turned upside down. I never doubted it, and never had a problem. I’m pretty rigid on the whole don’t drink and drive thing, and I’ll be drinking. I promise. I can walk near the hotel, but I’ll want to go outside that little stretch of bars while there. Any opinions or experience lately? I may ask the same question is some other “going to the game” threads. I would NOT use it going to the stadium as I’d never get home, but possibly at other times over the long weekend. Any insight is appreciated.
  21. It is indeed a spectrum, apparently. We know people who are somewhere on there, including my nephew. A good friend’s grandson is about 10 and has all kinds of little quirks (they can’t cut his hair, for one thing), but he’s in gifted classes at school. We are all different….in different ways.
  22. Ummmm, Ray Lewis got a TV job. We are quite forgiving! But from where we sit today, this looks like a challenge. A week from now might look very different. What the hell do I know? 🤷‍♂️
  23. Trouble maker, eeehhhh? EDIT: did I not listen closely enough as I let the dogs out? .
  24. ……and hopefully sharing a PhD in Getting To The QB to Rousseau, Epenesa and Basham…….and anyone else who will listen.
  25. It’s no longer available as far as I can tell. Somebody made on oops? EDIT: Never mind, it’s back. Are we aiming for 300 pages at this point. I wish for the truth to come out, and for everyone to get what they deserve. But this is no longer a Bills thing. I’m looking forward to the Rams game! .
