  1. Me too. Maybe he wants to be Grand Marshall of the parade? That would be more. 🤷‍♂️ EDIT: I assume he knows we don’t have cheerleaders anymore. I think we need more specifics. .
  2. I’ll give you the first, if I can have THE LAST!
  3. Duh??? BTW - Shameless plug for an author who doesn’t need one, but Grisham’s book Playing For Pizza describes a similar situation that kept the Browns out of the Super Bowl. It’s a good read right up this alley.
  4. How did you know that was my Major in college? I don’t think I mentioned that. Have you been looking into me? I’ll have none of THAT, mister! Guy hits on everything that moves……
  5. Did you see the rest of us all offseason? You are not alone! In fact, YOU FIT RIGHT IN!
  6. It’s actually part of a new marketing plan with help out of NYC. I think. I thought it was going to be a semi-horrible Von Miller hype bit, but the Marketing folks did a nice job. It got me worked up, and I’ve shared it all over! .
  7. Yeah, but you bet $10,000 on the Bills in this game and don’t tell your wife? That will result in a turbulent tummy! I heard that somewhere…..I believe it to be true.
  8. I swear that I remember the mood of the CITY being in the dumps after a loss. Despite all the practice we had getting used to it! We have the best fans in the NFL. There is a reason LA went so many years without an NFL team. If they aren’t front runners, they just barely notice when they moved away. Buffalo and the Bills are intertwined like few other sports franchises anywhere.
  9. When I met my wife back in the 80’s, the Bills went 2-14 in back to back seasons. My wife asked the exact same questions! The next year they went 4-12, not exactly “whadaya you say now?” material. The only correct answer is, this may take some time. We went to the Bills/Redskins SB rather than buy a dining room set. She’s used to it now, no longer has to take the kids and the dogs for 3 hour walks. We are now in training with the grandkid’s generation. Next one due in October and my son is worried she will arrive on a game day.
  10. Yep, the best way to win a long term deal is to join a team and ball out late into the playoffs. He has time to wait and see where he’s the best fit, who looks like they will run deep and teams get to check him out after a few more months of PT. .
  11. That is EXACTLY what I would expect. Getting there is easy. Getting back? Not so much. There is a Rally/Party Bus leaving from near my preferred hotel and they still have some seats available. That would be my choice, but right before I pulled the trigger on tix and airfare we took my mom to lunch, where she proceeded to fall and break her pelvis. I think I need to see her out of the hospital and into skilled nursing before I can commit. To look at me you’d think I was about 35, but my mother is almost 95. I hope she is settled there soon, and I can feel comfortable getting away. If it were a 1:00 game it’s easier to hang out until you and Uber can find each other. After a Monday night game it may get late and tricky. . I want @McBean to know that this man speaks the truth (fairly often). They are kind and generous at the tailgate. I highly recommend the experience.
  12. It’s just an illusion. Hanging out with crazy does NOT make you less crazy. You just blend in better. I will often cook using nervous energy. I just need something to do. My stomach is rarely looking for food, but it gets me to kickoff. I try to be careful with knives.
  13. The last time we saw him play, it looked like he’d be in the running for a Super Bowl MVP…then the injury. I’d certainly consider taking him for late season and playoff games. The more weapons, the better!
  14. I have to wonder how much Josh got paid to do that, and if it was really worth it. Keep growing the brand, and hold out for better productions on national ad campaigns. Yes, I guess I’m having a wet blanket kind of morning. On a side note, we used to live next to the Herr’s in Hamburg. My sister, 8 years older, talked me into jumping into their pool when I was little. Forget that I didn’t know how to swim, I didn’t even know enough to close my mouth or my eyes as I sank. I can still remember the sight of her splashing to me below the surface. Oh boy, back to those nightmares again……
  15. She’s certainly in the mix! I think I heard she has the second most wins in majors on the women’s tour this year. Now up to 23 or 24 I think. Very impressive!
  16. Well, when you put it like that, the word “awkward” ………may not be adequate……
  17. We had seasons in the lower bowl on the left.
  18. I’m hoping for a statute of limitations, and an exemption for Bills tailgates!
  19. So maybe today you should ask, if you have “plans”. But who volunteers that? I’m not going down this rabbit hole, but that is still strange.
  20. Nobody ever asked me if I was 18 at a party. Nobody. Nobody ever asked anybody if they were 18 at a party that I ever saw. And I don’t remember anyone volunteering that they were 18. I’m not watching the video (wherever it may be), but that all seems quite odd from my experience.
  21. Do you mean……you have not been taking notes? I hope you realize that there will be a quiz tomorrow!
  22. In the interest of limping to 300 pages, I will point out that both of those things can be true.
  23. That might get………….awkward.
  24. See my edit. You may be participating holographically In your older years.
  25. Do you mind if we put the stadium on your farm? I mean, YOU won’t be using it! EDIT: The timeline is a very important part of the equation and I failed to be clear about this. I hope @ExWNYer can forgive me if I mention that I meant the NEXT stadium after the one they are just now dragging their feet over. And this next place is going to be like the Colosseum so you’ve time for green bananas and then some.
