Here are my goal posts (they have NEVER moved) - I think Aaron Rodgers is a self centered, smug jerk. The “immunized” stuff doesn’t really bother me as much as it points out that he’s all about himself. Often, it’s not WHAT you do, but HOW YOU DO IT that makes impressions. It’s not about medicine, it’s about the person. I’m not “vax fixated”, I don’t much care. I just don’t like the guy. I’m not saying I like Brady, or any of his minions, I’m just saying Brady is all about winning. In my opinion, Rodgers is all about Rodgers, and it would be nice for him if he won. If not, he will blame the young guys he refused to work with for being in the wrong place or dropping the ball. I’m not judging Rodgers by people one or two layers removed from him. I look directly at Rodgers and generally don’t like him. It’s not “hate”, life is too short for that. I just think he’s a smug “look at me” guy, and that’s not my style. I prefer humility to smugness. Now, no offense, and I have generally enjoyed your posts, but I don’t see anything positive coming from continuing this back and forth. Have a nice night.

I’m not calling him a “good guy”, and I never referenced what’s his name. My point is Brady is all about winning. While Rodgers is all about…….Rodgers. We are all blessed to have Josh, and I look forward to many years of him being a decent human I can respect and enjoy watching as he leads our team. If I were a Brown’s fan, I could not tolerate having Watson as my QB. I don’t need it that bad. FAR less extreme, but I feel a bit of the same with the smug Rodgers. Just my opinion, and I’m just one guy. You feel free to exercise your right to feel any way that you’d like. It’s OK to disagree.

I don’t care about the protocols as much as I don’t like what I’ve seen of the person. He’s the anti-Brady. Rodger is a me first guy, smug and thinking he’s smarter than others. That’s my opinion, which I am fully entitled to. You can have yours, and that’s just fine.

Surprised he didn’t pull a hammy and go on IR. That’s a lot of production…………for him. Pace yourself, the season is long.

I don’t watch either of those guys, but I watch a good bit of football. Rodgers is no Tom Brady, that’s for sure. Brady does everything to win, including taking pay cuts and working with young guys. Rodgers? Well, he’s the opposite. He’s off doing psychedelic tea to become a better lover while Brady is watching tape and building chemistry with his team. Is Rodgers feared, or just disliked? They are both experienced and immensely talented NFL QB’s. Oh, and right handed. That’s where the comparison ends in my mind. .

Josh took a good bit less than Rodgers, and the other deals were not back breakers. Maybe Adams leaving says something about Rodgers? So, of that group, it seems Rodgers is the only self-centered “immunized” A-hole. He has every right to be self centered and mislead the world about his status, and I have the right to judge him by it. Not a big fan, despite his immense talent, as you may gather. No a big fan of “me first” people. To each their own. 🤷‍♂️

We did not sign him to get us TO the playoffs. We signed him to get us THRU the playoffs……to the trophy. I like it, save yourself for when it REALLY matters. It felt to me like he was out there more than 52%. I’m sure going back to play his old team in LA he wanted to see a lot of action. I’m glad he made as much noise as he did in so few opportunities. .

In the old days I never would have missed a minute of work or school for my symptoms last time around. Only a strange fatigue led me to test before my annual eye appointment. I like my eye doctor too much to expose her to that. A couple other times I had a strangely lingering mild cough, but felt fine otherwise. Strange. .

Absolutely! We drove 9 hours to Florida with a young lady/family friend on 12/19/19. She had just returned from working in NYC. She coughed the entire way, and by Christmas Day my wife put me in the back seat, and she drove the 8 hours home (no wrecks). No test then, but I coughed into February. I was never worried for a second. But I got my shots ASAP. We went to California in June, and I got it again. This time tested, but whatever. I would not have missed a day of work for what I had. But I avoided people for a while. I also would not have skipped the trip for the results. I actually think I’ve had mild cases randomly. I follow the rules. .
