  1. We were wondering, if we just fumbled the ball intentionally, would they fall on it? That was one silly ass game!
  2. That’s a good first step. Acknowledgement. I can’t help you beyond that. When I got married the Bills went 2-14 back to back. My wife asked “why do you do this to yourself?” She now wears a Bills shirt to tailgates that says “Married Into This.”
  3. I suggest we fumble, and wait to see if they jump on it or let the clock run out. This is goofy!
  4. He gets his guys incentives, and they appreciate and respect that culture. Never a BETTER time for a bad challenge than now.
  5. That makes 100, Monk would be pleased.
  6. I have never watched a Bills game where I hoped they would look good, but lose to the Pats, then be more interested in the 2 games that follow. I never even saw the looking glass, but here I am. 🤷‍♂️
  7. Other than Maye, how many players have the Pats* pulled? Are they being blatant about trying to lose? If Maye could start, why leave? Bottom line: What the hell am I watching????
  8. I think of this as a wonderfully happy teaching moment. 😊
  9. Does he have a Foundation or anything? 😂
  10. It’s a pretty good number when I’m not sure which way to go.
  11. What’s the over/under on how many tackles Buffalo Joe will have?
  12. Yeah, clearly it was all their fault. The Browns keep on being da Browns. As long as Haslam is at the helm, they will continue to cruise along…..like the Titanic. I honestly feel badly for their fans.
  13. What will Groot cost? I don’t think he’s a jag.
  14. I’m that kid in class who didn’t really read the book. Can you tell me how it ends?
  15. So, I’m looking at the website now. I think it might be an adjustment for me to get used to something different than the way I’ve grilled for decades. I’m not saying that is a bad thing. I do cook a bunch of stuff on indirect heat under the hood (well seasoned skin on, bone in chicken thighs are a regular), and I’ll use the little rack up high in the back when there are flare ups. I’m intrigued. My wife has us making a list of things we want to do and places we want to go this year. Put it on the schedule, then make it happen. (Or try like hell.) Cooking classes was one item we both had high on the list.
  16. Wait, if they have a combo, that sounds perfect! Is there any reason (other than expense) not to just replace my Weber grill which is hooked to the house for gas? Is there a downside? I was thinking of having one on a patio, but it would be more convenient where the Weber is on a deck outside the back door.
  17. You mention the cleaning and I think that would be my greatest cause for hesitation. I have a flat cast iron grill pan I use on my gas Weber grill when I’m trying to get a great sear. It works great, but the pan is too hot to do anything with it when the food is done, and I find by the time I get back around to it it’s very difficult to clean and maintain. I’ve got to think the black stone would be better than that?
  18. Good luck! I’d hate for you to set the bar so low…..and still come up short!
  19. I had a tennis buddy who was once hit by lightning. The courts where we played are surrounded by a golf course, and an alarm goes off if lightning gets within 5 miles or something. When the alarm went off, he moved much faster than anything he did on the court.
  20. Yes, let’s fire that bum who coaches those bums. Some people are still whining while conveniently forgetting this was supposed to be a difficult transition year. We may flame out in the playoffs, but I’m happy with our overall season to date. I’ll look forward to seeing some of the younger guys this week. I think our backup OLine may be better than what we fielded a few years ago when we were picking up guys at the final cut to start for us..
  21. I remember when “who do we want in round 1?” meant it was Halloween and we were looking forward to the draft.
  22. I remember the Painful disappointment of seeing our starters lose to teams who were resting their starters. That is NOT a good feeling going into a looooong offseason, but that’s why we spend so much time looking at the draft. Hope springs eternal.
  23. I have never met Alexa, and I hope to keep it that way. 😊 It’s wireless with whatever source you choose (Pandora, Sirius, etc) from your phone. We have speakers all over the house and my wife can turn them on when she’s in that area. They can be as small as a Coke can, but a tall boy gets you pretty good sound! You can hide it on any counter. Please look into it.
