  1. Close the ice rinks! It’s SO weird that I find myself defending this position! Life is dangerous. Adams was wrong, but maybe someone with an ounce of common sense doesn’t jump out in front of him in that situation. Stuff happens, but let’s not act like it was a disaster when it wasn’t. I have a nephew who killed a guy driving drunk many years ago. I also have friends (and regrettably maybe myself in my youth) who also drove drunk. My nephew spent many years in prison, because the guy died. The rest of us got away with fender benders, or less. Little harm, little foul. You can trip on a curb, hit your head and die. It happens. This was a shove in a bad situation. Regrettable for both parties, IMO. .
  2. Some are making it out like falling down is like skydiving without a parachute. That happened daily in the halls of middle school. That does NOT make it right, but my wife fell down a flight of stairs a week before the first born was due. The human body generally does fine. It’s only a big deal if it doesn’t. The “threat” of harm is worth much less than “actual” harm. Both are bad, let’s just put them on the right place on the spectrum.
  3. Actually, I went back and checked. It was work place “violation”, and it was a joke.
  4. If you have seen both angles you should realize that is simply not true. The guy went out in front of a player coming off the field after a rough loss. I’m still waiting for video that starts a couple seconds sooner, or from a different angle. WTF happened? WHY was he there in the first place? Like the AJ Epenesa expulsion, don’t startle a worked up guy in his workplace. Adams HAS admitted and is facing what is due. Camera guy needs to get real.
  5. I don’t mean to be a jerk here, and I’ll catch it for this, but we had never even HEARD of a seatbelt growing up. Falling down is only a big deal if a big deal results. This SHOULD be a non-event.
  6. Actually, from several reports I’ve heard he is regarded as a very nice guy. I heard there was no history of trouble or being a DBag. It was the wrong time, wrong place. I’d hope I’d know enough not to be on either end of that. I don’t care if it’s 97% to 3%, both share in what went down.
  7. It sounds like a bad thing in the workplace. I mean, from what others have told me…… EDIT: I have no idea what that means. Is there some “ticket level” of event? Like jaywalking? P.S. - Has anyone explained why that guy jumped out? Adams had ZERO business shoving him like that, but WTF was camera guy thinking? I wish a clip would surface that starts earlier. .
  8. One of the best movies ever of that genre. I could watch it on mute with our young boys, because they knew every word and were eager to share.
  9. I’m not TOO into the uniforms, as I tend to really like most of our looks. BUT, if they EVER do Bills vs Jets in red vs green again I’m going to need some answers!
  10. A real Nostradamus you are! 😋 There will be bad calls I will complain about, I’m sure. I just hope it’s not the stuff that makes me not want to watch the NFL any more. There were a couple ridiculous roughing the passer calls last weekend that changed the way the game is played and viewed. Don’t change the rules of the game in the middle of a season. There was a crazy overreaction to what happened to Tua. Take it out on Miami, don’t change the way the game is played. It’s like when they suddenly couldn’t decide what a catch was after decades of play. Don’t change what’s not broken. .
  11. The first view looked like one thing, while the view from behind looked like something else. It almost seems like a different incident. I’m not going to try to change anyone’s mind, but in my opinion Adams was clearly wrong (as he has admitted and apologized for) but he camera guy messed up by inexplicably jumping out in front of him. He is not without some responsibility, IMO. It doesn’t have to be one or the other. They can both have some fault, and not necessarily in equal shares. Camera guy should not have done that. Adams DEFINITELY should NOT have done that. .
  12. I love this post, but I trust Diggs to know how to get the best out of his guys. He knows them, they know him. Everybody has different ways they need to be coached. You can’t have too much Von on your team. They may not win it all, but they will be ALL IN!
  13. The NEXT game! Every week! That is how it works in this household.
  14. I really liked your post. Going for the more subtle approach. And I know I took some liberties. .
  15. But……at OUR PLACE! 😋 We played in Nashville three years in a row. I actually loved it as it’s an easy road game for me in a nice city ideal for hosting football. It smells a little funny with the reigning champs (sorry, Bengals) getting a string of home games against the biggest threat. It will even out in time. It’s not the Chief’s fans making the schedule. I care more about playoff home games, and I realize this is part of how you get there, but at some point you just need to feel eager to get another shot at them. Anywhere, any time. (Except London, I hate the London games, but still…..the point remains)
  16. I think his value is split between the plays he makes and the tone he sets. It’s one thing to be supremely talented, and another thing to make the others around you better. He’s the real deal.
  17. ….and some people don’t know where to draw those lines. One or two good games does not make you elite. Let us not forget, Singletary has a career average of 4.7 yards per carry. That is not too shabby, yet he gets dumped on by so many here. He is NOT elite, but he’s good enough to be a successful RB for our team. Personally, I’m hoping Kromer wins MVC (Most Valuable Coach) and makes the running game a serious threat. Not our identity, but a viable option.
  18. And somehow, everyone else taking pictures managed not to jump in front of a player who actually had his head down. Walk out in the road, you just might get hit. Again, the shove was wrong, but if you jump out in front of me or otherwise startle me (or anyone), you just may get a reaction. That is the risk you take. .
  19. I think by the time the renderings come out we will all be driving stackable hover crafts. Parking will be easy.
  20. I guess we will survive with a punt deity. 🤷‍♂️
  21. I wonder if she filed a police report?
  22. Yes, you agree the guy was moving. Right into the path of Adams. Bad move on his part. That is screwing up his job. Nobody else did that. It doesn’t make the SHOVE acceptable, and Adams looks bad making excuses, but if you have seen the other angle you know it was BOTH guys messing up. He was shoved, not “decked”, as defined here and as most would agree: To Deck, To get decked; to hit or be hit viciously hard without mercy, usually in the mouth or nose region. To strike down upon another human with great vengeance and FURIOUS anger. "I just decked Stephanie in the nose cuz the B word didnt have my money" "If my manager doesnt give me next friday off ima deck him right in his mouth I know the takes are laughable, but we love you anyway.
  23. I guess that’s why I stay away from social media. Completely. If that is going to be roughing the passer going forward, I’ll need to find some new ways to spend my time. I’ll watch my Bills, but not much more. They are ruining the game because the Dolphins cheated and china doll Tua got hurt. Twice. Take it out on them, not the rest of the league (and the fans).
  24. The guy was only in that position because he was bad at his job in that moment and put himself there. Don’t jump in front of players, especially in that situation. It’s like if my dog ran out in the road and got hit by a car. I can argue the guy was driving his car too fast, but my dog needs to stay out of the road. There can be multiple wrongs at the same time.
  25. I’m NOT defending the push, but I’ve only seen the one angle HERE. There is another angle which shows this guy just ran out in front of him while Adams had his head down. He reacted quickly and clearly too harshly, but don’t judge unless you have seen both views. It looks like a different incident! The shove was wrong, but more understandable from the other angle. The guy was not just standing there, he jumped out in front of Adams. Filing a police report tells me something about this guy.
