If we can help remove the curse, I’d be all for it!

Happy BDAY! You’ll never be this young again!

A friend moving back to Columbus says it’s widely expected to be approved. Is that correct? Any idea?

DoorDash Tells Customers, You Don't tIp, You Wait!

We moved into a new house and had at least one electrician at the house for weeks. They might do $1k-$2k of work a day, then hand you a screen that offers tip options of 15-25%. For the ELECTRICIAN. There was custom or no tip or something, but I was so stunned I tipped him….the first time. Then I studied a little harder for a better option the next time. We actually became buddies and he’s a good guy, but this was not a 20% tip on a $15 lunch. -
This place is going to be unbearable.

Tonight is one game. Get in the playoffs, then get hot. We can beat anyone on a good day. It’s OUR turn. EDIT: HEALTHY and hot. . .

Middle school lunch!!! Good luck, teachers!

At least! I heard a rumor that he is Tremaine Edmunds father.

The Falcons just found a Billsy way to lose. TD in the final seconds does them in. I’m not sure if I ever typed that word before, but I was feeling inspired. 😋 .

It doesn’t feel possible that he could still be only 28, but that is correct. I had to look it up.

Tua came thru for us in clutch time!!! 😂

….and building a fanbase there for over a decade.

Let’s win the AFCE, then worry about the rest.

At least the “road team” won’t have the enormous advantage of having developed a fan base in Germany for the last decade plus.

So, do you go to HashDash.com?

When I was young(er) and stupid(er) we bought a house. I was an idiot then. (No comments, please.) I assumed the pool was heated because of the large attached spa. I assumed it was concrete block because it was stucco, and they didn’t have stucco over frame where we moved from. Stuff like that. SO, on that long list of lessons we learned was about landscaping. That lush green hedge along the entire front of the house was…..some weedy vines that grew up the dead stick limbs of a once living hedge and were carefully trimmed to look their best! I later rented a Bobcat and hired a landscape worker for a weekend. We scraped the lot and put in over 400 plants, from ground cover to Live Oaks. No more weeds. We did extremely well on that house.

Of course! Nothing like a good soft shell crab sandwich! But those Stone crabs are too pricey for me. Christmas Day a few years ago we took our college age kids to church, then the aquarium then found a restaurant that was open. A guy coming out was RAVING about the stone crabs so when the waiter announced the special was stone crabs my son went for it. It was about $30 so we assumed it was an entree sized portion of some type. The look on his face was PRICELESS when his plate came out with some garnish and a single crab claw. 😂 We then had to order him some food, as well.

I’ve got a puppy who thinks that is just a good start to the day.

Bears fans are hoping for halftime of the next game. It’s soon enough, and it adds a nice twist.

I worked with someone who lived on a golf course and frequently saw deer. One day, one of the damn critters must have been high from eating a neighbors crops and he saw his reflection in her sliding glass doors. (That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!) He crashed into the slider until he broke into the house. She ran out he front door with the baby before the deer went about completely trashing their house! Bambi can be cute, but also a problem. We lived near golf courses and a lot of preserves in FL. The deer population was out of control but it was a residential area, so they brought in archers. The herd needed some thinning, I guess.

We took the 9 year old grandson to NYC this summer to see the Big Apple, catch a play, see the wife’s office, ferry around the Statue of Liberty, etc. He also learned what Woodstock must have smelled like. Apparently it’s legal in NY and nobody cares where you smoke it. People just walking down the crowded sidewalks smoking joints all over Manhattan. It was a bit eye opening. We’ve been to plenty of places where it’s legal but people generally try to be discreet. Not in NYC while we were visiting.

What's on Your Menu for the Cinci Bengals Game?
Augie replied to HIT BY SPIKES's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anything but that nasty chili. -
You mention “since London”, and I can say the same thing. I’m not sure how you have changed since that event, but I can say I still love the Bills but am losing some interest in the NFL.

Zero worries. It would be boring if we always agreed. I’m not one to start things, but I will defend my point, or sometimes admit I whiffed. It happens. I can’t deny being a volume poster, but I’m here for entertainment, just like the games. This is a platform we can all use in different ways. I read plenty, as in daily. Sometimes I prefer Grisham to what is said here, so I can be guilty of skimming. I don’t think it was lazy to ask about the guy who was the subject of the topic. I don’t believe it had been stated why he was still available. That is what this place is for in many respects. I never thought of you as a crusader at all, but we all have different preferences.

I few months ago I might have given you a used Garmin. 😋
