    I hope to enjoy the Super Bowl more than the last two rounds of the draft!

    There are two sets of costs here. Trading away a first rounder for a guy who has or needs a big contract kills you in the draft AND on the cap. At least it’s a premium position. They did the same with T. Hill and get away with it because Tua is on a cheap deal, but I’m not sure Tua is the answer. He is not as big or athletic as he thinks, and he’s fragile.

    Fair points. I think his game has and will progress. Working with Diggs won’t hurt that at all.

    Yes, he has disappeared at times, but we need to look past that when he was playing on a bad ankle. I’m glad he did what he could, even if it was mostly as a decoy. It’s hard to play WR in the NFL with a bad wheel. The guy makes plays. And complaining about him is mostly nitpicking, indeed. Life isn’t perfect.

    Wife left at 4am to catch a flight, and I didn’t get candy. Oops! All the lights are out on the front of the house. I’m hiding in back and not a single visitor yet.

    Even Josh didn’t have his best game. It happens. I’m not overreacting, I’m taking the long view. I like what I see. It will never be perfect, but I like it a lot.

    For you. He’s a bit like Knox was early on, and I like how that is turning out. I was higher than most on Knox, too. (Believe me, I’m wrong a lot too.) Davis will get it all together.

    He’s playing crazy good football. I’d hate to lose him as much as anyone on the D.

    But we SAW him drop the ball. I think I like Davis more than most people. I love what he brings to our team. He makes big plays.

    Don’t forget about the Comp Picks. None of this is sustainable without the comp picks, and we suck at that!

    That is only because those people are excellent, straight A students who are the tops in their field who turn down modeling requests because they are married to a super model (and you can only have one of those per household), and their kids are honor roll students who skipped a grade, but are still bored.

    Very nice story! But be honest, who was kinda hoping it involved his cute English teacher or something?

    I’m hoping they “abandon the ship” instead. This is going to be an electric atmosphere. These late games give the crowd plenty of time to enjoy their tea and crumpets. (That’s what they do at a tailgate, right?) As always, I’m still nervous.

    I bet he’d LOVE to pass the stone! I worked with a guy who had kidney stones, and it was no joke! I think he was on Demerol, and we had a loan committee meeting at the bank. I still laugh at the memory of our President saying “For the record, Rick will not be voting on loans today. Oh, and Rick, your drooling a bit.” 😂 .
