  1. It’s why I want to move BACK to Florida. We lost years of sunshine, and we want to be with each other. 😋 I’d love a summer/fall place in WNY. Still love the area, but I don’t want to be cold for long periods of time. I think that’s just the train horn. I am against both earthquakes and train horns. .
  2. As Belichick would say, if you don’t like it….stop it. (Ohhh, I feel so dirty!) I like the passing game, but I also like power football. They need to blow the whistle ASAP when progress ends, but as long as it’s moving forward, your guys need to stop our guys and the pile. You want to go with 220 lb LB’s? You pay the price. It adds to the strategy of team building. Full Disclosure: I could change my mind before the next commercial. 🤷‍♂️
  3. Who liked this, and who barfed on it, has caused me to reconsider my opinion - just sayin’. 😂 Hard to know what he had left last time around. He was hurt and I appreciate toughness. But it seemed he’d get near the chains, probably catch the ball then hit the deck before he got hit. Tampa has a lot of weapons so I can see not being a star there, but I still have to wonder why he’s not playing anywhere. How much was it injury, and how much was just he lost a step? Or two? Sitting down in the soft spot on zone D was his thing. Could he still do that? I think there’s a reason he’s sitting at home.
  4. I may be imagining this, but I think Josh went to San Diego during our actual bye week. This “mini-bye” doesn’t seem to allow for that easily. Each guy has a different situation, so I don’t begrudge anyone doing what they value most. Just don’t be an idiot resulting is something bad happening, especially after midnight nonsense!
  5. When the other team does it, I prefer to see the maul turn into a ruck! (The difference being the ball is now on the ground.) We can have a maul, and they can have a ruck! I remember the “Bush Push” in the USC Notre Dame game many years ago. I remember thinking “you can’t do THAT!”. I was with my oldest son at the Anchor Bar watching the game the day before he went to his first Bills home game. With both boys I took them when they turned 16 as a rite of passage and a nice bonding event. Very special and fond memories. BTW - I chose the Jets game for both boys hoping for a solid win as wins are more fun. We split with the Jets on those two trips, just like we are going to do this season! 😋
  6. As I wore my Bills gear around Green Bay before a game I was shocked by how many times I heard “welcome to Wisconsin”. The nicest thing I can say about Jags fans, where I’ve been numerous times, is that they were willing to sell their tickets to Bills fans. Sadly accurate comments regarding the drinking at Bills games. I narrowly avoided having a young lady puke on my shoes last game I was there.
  7. Win next week. EVERY week. That is all you can do. I’m not impressed with #1 seed today. We have a long road to follow.
  8. Why can the Chiefs run a screen and make it look so easy? We look like Keystone Cops! .
  9. It sounds like we are due! Our plan is to save them up for the playoffs. It’s 4-D chess we are playing!
  10. I’m just getting started. 😋
  11. I don’t care……just WIN THE NEXT HALF!
  12. Sounds a bit immature, but I’m just fine. You are either incapable of or chosing not to comprehend my point. My dog would like to eat chicken wings, but it’s dangerous, so I don’t allow it. I don’t care how much “Josh likes to run”. It’s part of what makes him special, yes, but it needs to be wisely managed. The more hits he takes, in the pocket or out, the greater chance he gets hurt. Our run game has been built around our QB to a ridiculous extent at times. He’s basically got the same rushing yards as our #1 RB. I do not like that philosophy. I prefer to use Josh’s legs legs judiciously on designed running plays, especially early in the season. Still in the playbook, but not he centerpiece of the offense. If he has to run to escape the pocket on pass plays, Godspeed! I’m tired of stating the obvious. Have a nice evening.
  13. I don’t know if you actually disagree or just do not understand my point. As to the bold, NO, it does NOT mean that AT ALL. You apparently forget about an actual NFL running game where you hand off to a RB (more than we have in recent times). We’ve gone to the RB more lately, if you’ve been paying attention. I’m NOT saying to THROW more. I never said that. I want a balanced attack where the QB doesn’t have virtually the same rushing yards thru a dozen games as the leading RB. This shouldn’t be so difficult.
  14. It seems you missed my point entirely. I am NOT saying running is more dangerous than the pocket. I’m saying it’s more encounters with danger that could be avoided if shared more sensibly with our RB group. I want to limit the number of plays where we have to have high anxiety about his survival. He’s just too important to take unnecessary risks when we have other ways of winning. .
  15. I’m just saying I’m down the middle on this. Josh is only like 23 yards behind Singletary on the season. That is FAR too close for my taste. But yes, you can get hurt anywhere on the field, certainly including the pocket where you are a magnet for enormous people with bad intentions. We have several RB’s, but only one QB worth a damn. I want Josh to run when it’s wise to do so, and to protect himself on all but the most critical plays. It DOES put him at additional risk, but not because it’s inherently “riskier”. It’s just more chances to be hurt. .
  16. It’s football, it’s dangerous! You can be injured on the sideline if you are not careful. In the pocket he will have to take his chances. Outside of the pocket……he will need to be smart. I don’t mind SOME running by Josh, but I do NOT want him being our leading rusher. THAT is just asking for trouble.
  17. So you don’t think Mommy is the answer?
  18. He could go back to Miami, or go to LA or wherever he wanted to go. There are far more options out there for those who can afford them.
  19. This is interesting. I promise I’m not arguing with you, but I honestly can’t think of a single couple we know where this is true. Life is mobile these days.
  20. I don’t know that I could be a Browns fan now. I lived thru the drought, but I don’t think I could take that owner and that QB. Hard to comprehend, but I might have to vote with my feet and my wallet there. I understand, Kelly came in as a guy you might want to party with, while Josh is a guy you’d want your daughter to marry.
  21. I think you missed my point entirely. We have a long way to go. Jimbo never wanted to go to Buffalo in the first place and went out of his way to avoid the city. Like many players, he got there and learned to appreciate the area. Josh was thrilled to be drafted by the Bills and embraced the city immediately. We don’t know where he will be or what he might feel in 10-15 years, but it would not shock me if he had homes wherever the hell he wants, because he can certainly afford it. To have one in WNY would not be at all surprising.
  22. I don’t like a lot of the old stories either. I’m not local so I’m sure what I’ve heard is just the tip of the iceberg. Having said that, I’m not in the business of judging any more than I have to. If his wife can forgive him, I think I can do the same. As for Josh on the first flight out, we will have to wait and see. Kelly was on the last flight IN, if you recall. Things change over the years. That is one thing we know for sure.
  23. I had a blast growing up in Pottersville. It might have been better if I spent more time in Bedford Falls. We will never know.
  24. Do you think it would be safer to keep him in the basement until we lose a game? It might be best to be cautious. 🤷‍♂️
  25. There was a replay here somewhere that showed him banging his head on the turf while getting tackled. I don’t recall the exact timeline, but it seemed to be roughly about when that rumor started. His head hit pretty hard! Concussed? IDK. 🤷‍♂️
