This made me laugh! Talking about original, I was maybe just out of college living in Hilton Head Island. There was a pub owner in South Beach where I spent a lot of time. Run the dogs at the beach, lets them dry and the sand shake out while drinking beer. Helluva a plan and life, I must say! Anyway, I mentioned chicken wings to my pub buddy, and he had never heard of them. This is maybe 1981-83, and these people had never heard of chicken wings! We went to the grocery store, I did my best and we probably made the first wings in HHI, and maybe the state!

Back when I played fairly competitive tennis, there were days I had my A game and lost. There were also many days I had my C game and won. I enjoyed playing well and losing a bit more. It was also related to blatant defensive pass interference. I have a damning photo but it’s too large to fit here and I’m not going to waste time on it. The Dolphin defender got there early, hit him from behind and was wrapping him up….well before the ball arrived. I was surprised that didn’t get more mention during the broadcast. I thought it was on the WR initially, but that was clearly not the case.

The beginning of the last “game” was very concerning. I know we typically let them score early, then settle in, but it was not looking good. We are going to need to get pressure on Burrow, and if we can’t do it against their banged up OLine, well………we need to spend our first four picks in the draft on DLine. Keep at it till you get it right! (I’ll run and hide now.)

Maybe I’ve been at this longer than you. I ALWAYS root for my/our team, but there were years, many years, when even my Golden Retrievers knew we were very unlikely to win very many games. Every game scares me, and this one is no different. I’ll wait and see how it plays out.

My college buddy who remains in Cincinnati is a Browns fan deep down, but he has season tickets to the Bengals. I was scheduled to be in his seats for that horrible Monday Night game, but the wife booked a trip to Hilton Head with friends. He sold his seat for about $400 each. That would be a poor investment, but a night you’d never forget. (Like The Who concert that will live with me forever.) Hats off to the kind people of Cincinnati to be so good in a horrible time. Class act, that was. 👍

I find no appropriate emoji for this. I have no problem with fans of other teams, unless they are trolling. You know who there are quickly enough.
