  1. I don’t miss Sapp at all either. Wasn’t it Faulk who said we needed to address LT when Jason Peters was our best (only?) player? Could be off on that one, but I think that’s right.
  2. I obviously have no idea what happened at the hotel, but any outcome that results in less Michael Irvin is not ALL bad!
  3. Agreed 100%. Having said that, if the person is cleared by his doctors, and he wants to play again, I think it’s his decision to make.
  4. It’s like 50 First Dates, but with football!
  5. That was, in my opinion, a terrible assumption. She’s not a 15-25 year old male. There the odds might have been with you., but it would still be inappropriate , IMO. The odds were with some type of cardiac event resulting in a long recovery, but I was just fine waiting for the family to make it public. Prayers to all, and get well Kim! They have every right to privacy and releasing information on their terms, at their time.
  6. He only played one year in middle school???
  7. I think this may be related to how the sinks came into play. You can’t be TOO safe!
  8. That under sure is tempting, but I’m not that new around these parts! Sucker bet! 😋
  9. I’m just glad this didn’t turn out to be a math problem. Common denominators were never my thing.
  10. I hope the people who felt they were “owed” an explanation now realize how stupid they looked. This is intensely personal, and none of our damn business unless and until they decide they want to let us in.
  11. It’s a football TEAM, not “team plus one”. You have to balance the QB vs the rest of the roster. Not having a franchise QB salary on the books helps teams compete against teams with the franchise QB. It’s all about parity in the NFL.
  12. That must have been quite a sight!!!
  13. Fair enough! It’s maybe just that I personally notice the commentators less than the average bear around here. .
  14. Did you mean to hit “SUBMIT”?
  15. I can still believe. I may be wrong, and it won’t be the first time, but I’m leaning to him making the uptick.
  16. Like with Knox, I will go on the record and say I still believe. Gabe can learn from Knox on the hands/concentration front. Improve his routes a bit, and I have high hopes.
  17. No, I think you mean @HOUSE is broke. We are financially challenged, as I believe he puts it. We don’t need to sign more expensive old guys on the DLine. I believe Von has more in the tank. One is enough. Let’s hit it with some HUGE draft steals and add some cheap labor. We desperately need it!
  18. I hope I don’t lose sleep over that…… AND I KNEW BETTER!!!
  19. You mean, since lunch? I’m almost sure this is the first one since lunch, but I ate late.
  20. This sounds like the healthy approach! I certainly don’t need to be creating angst for myself at this time of the year. If I were more ambitious, I’d be archiving all these doom and gloom threads and posts, but we will all remember who the Eyore’s are. We have some issues to address, but some folks make it sound like we are cellar dwellers. Chill! Enjoy the ride! .
  21. …..or a phone booth. 😋 I kid, mostly. Good point about draws. That’s another head scratcher to me. It just shouldn’t be so hard. We need to do some self scouting, because we seem to have some serious tells. I pray Dorsey gets some help and can prove he’s up to this. No shame in looking for help.
  22. IF we are smart, this can also be used to our advantage. Just when you think you know what’s coming…. We knew losing Daboll would hurt, but it was a little worse than I expected. I hope Dorsey can be a quick learner and is willing to adapt.
  23. That was not nearly as despondent as some of the others who hate those 14 win season. We have some things to fix, and I think they know that. They are in the top handful of teams in the league. Only one team is left standing in the end. It hasn’t been our time yet, but the future is bright.
  24. I think it’s also fair to question why we make running a screen play look more difficult than landing a man on Mars. This is a serious question for any of you X’s and O’s guys. Why can a decent high school program do that more effectively than the Bills? Are we tipping it somehow with formation or personnel groupings or something? I’m more positive than most people (especially in this thread), but that is very confusing to me.
