  1. Credit to you, sir, for powering thru that. The ChatGPT stuff is incredible, though. Like, a bit freaky. . .
  2. Umm, thank you for editing it. 😊
  3. I know this is too soon, and I don’t want to sound insensitive, but I’m sure there are many similarities to recovery from a major hurricane strike. Clean up, then rebuild. After Hugo destroyed Charleston it was surreal, with yachts in the middle of the roads downtown and all kinds of other bizarre sights. All the crappy old properties and billboards were destroyed, and eventually replaced by something brand new. Insurance adjusters and construction workers rushed to the area and started to replace what was lost. As tragic as it was, it provided tremendous economic stimulation. We were busier than ever at the bank because everybody had needs. Charleston was a much nicer place a couple years following Hugo than it was before. I know that is no consolation to people who have lost everything, but I’m trying to find a silver lining. That’s about all I got….
  4. We have a plumber/gas guy who handles anything that could go BOOM!!! I’m not sure how many times he told me he was a safety/compliance guy in the military, but he was a safety/compliance guy in the military.
  5. I can’t say I’m crazy about having the government or anyone else telling me what I can or cannot do with my property.
  6. After Homestead, FL got decimated they changed all the building codes. Things became much more expensive to build. I’m familiar with what some of those code changes were, and I’m honestly curious about what might be implemented to mitigate this horror in the future. How can we do this better? EDIT: I’m not an insurance expert, but a friend had a house burn down and had to build new. Have replacement coverage! Material costs had spiked and it was a nightmare for him following lumber daily. Stuff you hope you never have to learn. .
  7. Congrats on being the first poster to nail it! That is exactly what would happen.
  8. Job had nuthin’ on us! EDIT: I have to wonder how many people think I’m referring to work. I might have, just reading that, and I would have thought I was an idiot! 😂 .
  9. Anything that hurts the Chiefs is fine by me.
  10. It’s Lady’s Night. The bouncer is just letting all the women in.
  11. I obviously expect the Chiefs to win, but I hope Houston beats the tar out of them! It’s the NEXT injury report I’m most interested in.
  12. I don’t like the idea of bailing out any lenders/investors who were just too stupid or lazy to get things right. The policy should not be adjustable by the insurance company. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, but obviously my heart goes out to the people and families who had a terrible event become even worse. .
  13. I’m shocked that lenders allowed these insurance policies as it effectively means they run the risk of having their collateral go up in smoke, literally. The bank needs to know what’s in the fine print as much as the homeowner. I have to believe that some heads will roll when they discover what a terrible failure this was.
  14. What a lovely little “experiment” there by Roger there. I’ll ask again, if they don’t care about the integrity of the game, why should I?
  15. “Home games” are games played at home. Period.
  16. Here’s the difference…..I’m looking forward while you are looking backwards.
  17. ….and now they failed to make the playoffs. I’ve said all along I don’t fear them long-term. Ownership is too cheap to surround him with the parts he needs. I like our future much better than theirs.
  18. You got this!
  19. God bless our fans!!!!!!
  20. ….and the wind might blow some of Bass’ kicks IN? Is that what you’re saying? 😊 I apologize, I couldn’t help myself. I should not have put negative waves out there. I respect Donald Sutherland too much. .
  21. Do you think Ernie Adams took a retirement gig? I hope you were sitting on @Sweats’s bed. No big deal there.
  22. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it! 😊
  23. Apparently we have yet to master Unolingo.
  24. How many times has he been thru this? He’s 65 and the longest of long shots, imo. Does he get tired of these “interviews”?
  25. So, we love him, right?
