  1. Well, I suppose it could have been worse.
  2. You need to be in it to win it. But sure, if people want to start over again, the Browns are just down the shoreline and easy to follow. To say never the bride is just plain wrong. If you are NOT in it, you will not win it. The bride comes out of a field of contenders. That’s how it works. .
  3. I’m no expert on this guy, but in general I hope everyone else focuses on the combine and we focus on game tape.
  4. As is spreading it. See? It really takes a village! 😋
  5. I think the Pegulas are rational people, and I disagree. Almost everybody gets fired eventually, so those stats don’t impress me. You can cherry pick stats to tell any story you’d like. I don’t think our HC or GM are in any trouble whatsoever. Keep doing what you’re doing. Remain Super Bowl favorites yearly.
  6. Is it like finishing a house? Do you get to pick your own dome?
  7. I thought he was talking about TBD at first. 😋 But we are not always fun to read. That gave it away. Congrats on the book!
  8. It takes a village to keep him busy!
  9. I agree it was fun to watch, but I can attest to there being such a thing as too much tequila. Trust me on this one! At one point I thought I heard Josh tell one (or both) of his guys that could stay at his place, presumably right on site. Very wise.
  10. Interesting that NFL.COM has Kyle Duggar as his pro comp. Weren’t we reported to be interested in Duggar prior to the Cheaters* snagging him? I seem to remember hearing about how versatile he is, and we obviously love that.
  11. They don’t even have to throw games. The mere possibility is enough to shake people’s confidence in what they are seeing. “Look at that! He dropped that on purpose!” That can’t be allowed, IMO. You can’t have that thought lurking just beneath the surface in our minds. BTW - what’s Tim Donaghy up to these days?
  12. Wow! Was it a Falcons WR who missed a year for a nominal wager? You’d think that would be all you need to know. If the Lions still have any fans, I feel badly for them. Just when things started to look a little brighter for them, the fan gets messy. I’ll wait for details, but I doubt the NFL starts lightening up on players gambling any time soon.
  13. Yep, how many coaches are on the hot seat after 13-3 seasons? With the 3 losses coming by a total of 8 points? I get that we all want a trophy, but some here have ridiculous expectations. .
  14. If he truly believes CTE will not be a very real possibility, he’s lying to himself. You can find an “expert” to say just about anything. Just look at “expert witnesses” in court who can be for or against just about anything. Just show him videos of himself after suffering those concussions last year. Common sense will tell you that can have long term consequences. I am NOT telling him to retire, that is his personal decision. Just don’t ignore the obvious when defending the decision.
  15. I mean, please feel free to take your time. 😋
  16. Good for him! Great experience. My wife is technically based out of NYC. She says she doesn’t feel safe there since Covid. Most major cities have felt some bumps, I think. But bigger cities have the bigger jobs, if that’s what you are looking for.
  17. It was better than a bunch of talking heads on TV yelling at everybody all the time. That felt like relief, to me. It was……a break. It was different, and I enjoyed that. But bring on the draft!!!
  18. We were in the Bay Area last summer. The people in the wife’s SF office told her to stay the hell away from downtown SF as much as possible. We did. Apparently it’s more like Oakland used to be. Landing in Paris sounds like an great adventure. My son’s crowd all wanted to live in NYC after graduating. It’s a cool dream, I guess, and for some it’s perfect. Just a few are left, but they all had a great life experience.
  19. That was long, but I watched the entire thing. Far more entertaining than I expected, but that was a whole new format for me. Thanks.
  20. That might sting for a while. BUT, once the (cheap skate) Bengals have to seriously pay Burrow, they probably are not going to tie up funds in escrow for other big contracts. This will be interesting. Will they fade because they are unable or unwilling to put up the cash for multiple big, largely guaranteed contracts? Or do they have to try to reload? I can’t wait for the Saints! I may not sleep until that one appears. .
  21. You tried. Enjoy the concert, we’ll be here when you get back. I mean, we’re always here…… 🤷‍♂️ We are not your REAL family, and those years fly by.
  22. I just looked, and they are 3-19. Maybe they should be the “Not Very Athletics”? How is the NBA team in Utah still the Jazz? Utah is more like Anti-Jazz.
  23. You can only cry wolf so many times before people start ignoring you, and that’s where Von is now until he’s actually correct about something.
  24. I didn’t know if we’d see you posting here today. Is this some kind of a holiday for you? 😋
  25. ….and then his life came crashing down and he was never quite the same. Let’s let Josh be Josh, wish him the best, and leave it at that. I get the joke, btw. All good.
