  1. It doesn’t seem to exhaust you. Quite remarkable, I must say.
  2. Wait, am I reading this right? Did he come in in the 3rd percentile in the three cone drill? Did he get lost or something?
  3. But…….we have @HOUSE on our side!!! I’ve said I like Gabe more than most others do here. I expect a pretty good year, and a pretty good offer from another team. He will be the next Horrible Harry or Tremaine. Out the door, because we drafted a guy who turned out to be good enough that he had a serious market. I hope we have a bigger, better replacement. A guy can dream, right? .
  4. I’m glad to hear it may have straightened out. We were in Park City many years ago, and there was a thing about 3.2% beer and you had to be a “member” to be able to drink in a bar. I went to a place like 3 nights in a row buying drinks and food, and the next night some guy asks “are you a member?” My blank stare answered his question. I moved to Hilton Head, SC after college. Back then SC had those airplane mini-bottles in bars. Even going back to a Bills game the liquor store guy said something about even the tonic could not be 100% alcohol free. I’m not sure what’s accurate or what is not, but there are some goofy old laws out there! I think I heard that after prohibition each area got to make their own rules, and they varied widely. .
  5. This lead to the whole “but he can’t turn!!!” commentary. Well, so much for that. (And I admit to having been skeptical, full disclosure.)
  6. I managed retail bank branches for years. You ALWAYS have the rate shoppers who want a little extra on a CD rate “or else”, or a free safe deposit box. “I have $100K in here, I deserve a free SD box!” Yeah, well we have people with millions who pay for their boxes. What banks want is as many products or relationship ties as they can get in a household. It’s easy to move your money market and never come back. Have your checking and credit cards, with auto-pay bills and direct deposit set up? That move just became much less likely. . .
  7. Oh, who was the poor guy, can’t name him, who looked like he was going to CRY when he got drafted by the Cheaters*? I’m guessing he knows someone trapped in Belichick Hell.
  8. But, beyond your football knowledge, I think we can all learn something about humility from you. Thank you for that. 😋 .
  9. Maybe they exaggerate that “bad hammy” or ankle if he looks promising, then get him to the PS without getting much preseason film on him. I love the games they play.
  10. Getting Wildgoosed sure sounds fun, but I did not like it at all!
  11. Has anyone told the Utahns/Utahites they have funny liquor laws?
  12. I am strangely confident this young man will spend several years in the NFL in some capacity. You never have enough CB’s, and our guys seem to have a knack for picking and developing them.
  13. So, what you’re saying is they DO drop passes! I knew it!
  14. Did we really draft a CB? SHOCKING! They seem to have a knack for this, so I’m curious.
  15. Yes, nobody denies that. He’s getting what he can of a bad situation.
  16. It’s real life. Nothing goes perfectly. What do you do with it? Make the most out of it that you can. Every GM has duds. Half the first round washes out before too long. The more picks we can get in the NEXT draft the better.
  17. Did liking the first two rounds shock anybody? Should we do welfare checks on those with heart conditions?
  18. Some call him a bozo, but he’s also part magician. You can’t argue that.
  19. Uh oh, maybe I didn’t graduate!!! 😱
  20. He seems equal parts versatile and likable. Hoping he becomes a gem. .
  21. But does that take Taron Johnson off the field? A guy they think enough of to give him a big contract? Teams will scheme to get Klein in coverage, and it won’t be pretty.
  22. Morse ain’t cheap, and the concussions scare me (on multiple levels). As noted above, some of the older, more expensive guys might get you a draft chip next year.
  23. Getting any picks in NEXT years draft is GREAT for us.
  24. Well, it’s not like we run a lot…..🤷‍♂️
  25. Good point. This is obviously very accurate, but I hadn’t thought of it as specifically related to S. Brown. It will help if we can create stability around him, so hopefully that’s one more part of his progression. With houses we always took the approach of finding the weakest point, then making it one of the strongest. This works for pieces on the OLine, too, I think.
