Buffalo/Niagara Falls is #1 radio market for AM
Augie replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall
I’m with you here. It doesn’t surprise me, and I don’t intend for that to sound mean at all. On a related note, we came in #2 in slide rule sales as well. . -
Thanks coach McDermott… you’re one of the best coaches in the game.

I referred to the complaints. Not the coaches. “He’s great in the regular season, but he just doesn’t get it done in the playoffs.” Look at all Reid accomplished, and it still wasn’t enough without rings. McD has not accomplished as much, but the complaints are quite similar, IMO. Fine in the regular season, but never gets to the top in the playoffs. Winning a Super Bowl will feel that much better because it’s so hard to do. . -

This could be describing the complaints about Andy Reid a few years and a couple rings ago. Nobody wins it….until they win it. I still like our general trajectory. -

How about one game better and a box of donuts? Rob could be the real wonder here! I like McD and appreciate where he has this team. Obviously far from perfect, but I expect him to continue to grow and improve, as we’d all hope and expect. I don’t see a coach coming off a 14-4 season as being on any kind of hot seat. We are fans, and often frustrated, but if you are a top 5 Super Bowl contender I think tweaking makes far more sense than wholesale changes. -
If the schedule does NOT look brutal, that may be the more unpleasant surprise. We never “really know” who will be good until we start playing the games. It may look daunting now, but I like our team and our chances. It should be another fun season to entertain us.

I stopped looking at their college basketball/recruiting content years ago. That stuff looked like a middle school project by kids who regularly attended summer school to keep up. It should have been embarrassing to every ESPN employee.

Your daily Josh Allen is pretty good at football update

Who’s on First? If NewEra is a female, s/he’s not very good at it. Kim, on the other hand……

…..according to you. Just one more opinion posed as something more than that.

Hypotheticals bore me. I try to consider everything. Dorsey is my biggest concern. By far.

She asked me about you at lunch yesterday. 😋

OKAY, I admit I might have had a weee bit to drink before I made that call. I’m not sure if they were really that tall, or I was on the floor.

Will anyone admit to enjoying watching soap operas on TV?

How are Luke and Laura doing? -
Thank you for sharing. I like recipe threads, and yours sounds like the Browns recipe for disaster. Changing for the sake of change does not guarantee success, and if there is someone better out there…..why are they available? I like our path just fine. We can certainly do some things better, but I like where we sit. I wouldn’t tear that down after a single bad season.

Miami Super Fan TUANON Passes Away at Young Age RIP

Regardless of who said what (and I hope nothing stupid happened) this is such a tragedy. Take nothing for granted and appreciate the good things in life. Prayers sent to that poor family. -
When I read something like the bold I have to wonder how that is defined. That could mean a lot of different things to different people. It’s all very relative. As for something in retirement, try for something you really enjoy. I’ve enjoyed tennis for most of my adult life. I wouldn’t mind working part time at a club or in a pro shop dealing with like minded people. You have something in common built in. That fits in with the golf comments earlier. Figure out what you like, and then find a way to put it into action. .

RIP Wow! I was just a kid and had no idea he was also the weather guy. To me he was Commander TOM! That was part of growing up for me.

Maybe I shouldn’t be snarky, but I watched a little bit, then questioned what I was doing and why. I stopped. Maybe I didn’t get far enough in to properly enjoy it. Good for him trying to make a buck or help a charity or whatever.

…..and why should we care? 🤷♂️

Happy Birthday and all the best wishes!

Win 4 straight and look good doing it, and we are back in Cowherd’s top 3 teams in the NFL. 🤷♂️

I wonder if our future safeties are already on the roster and will be slowly developed at the position until needed. We seem to be hoarding hybrid types of players, like positionless basketball.
