I really like what Morris can bring when he plays, but I’m curious to see Davidson. It seems we are leaning a little more toward being a bully these days. EDIT: And I don’t hate that. .

Are their” innovative funding sources” just another way of saying “taxes”? Tell people it’s based upon the economic impact, because you can argue that until the end of time. Regardless, the key seems to be getting the proper public/private investment. I know nothing about that area, but my experiences with that type of development is that it is a year round destination, IF you can surround the stadium with the right stuff in a location easy for people to get too. No way on Earth can I see OP worthy of that investment, but downtown would have been cool. Oh well. As always, I’m just glad the Bills remain in WNY, and look forward to seeing our new home.

An old college buddy sent me a video of a service dog in a weed dispensary, then he scanned the store. He thought the DOG was inappropriate. One kid at the end of the clip saw what was happening and gave him a sideways stink eye, like….you’re not going to show my parents that, are you? The clip ended on him. I told him the dog was probably less of a problem than you recording all the people waiting to buy some weed. He made an oops! The screen shot of the kid giving him the side eye look is hysterical, but I suppose me sharing it would be the VERY LAST THING he would want. 😂

I’m hoping there is a lot more that I don’t know, here. That seems irrationally vindictive. It’s NOT personal, or it shouldn’t be anyway. I actually love the digital ID at the airport. No more retinal scanning, just walk up and stand in a circle about 6 feet away from the guy. You show him nothing, but in a second he says “thank you, Augie”, like we’re old friends. I’d rather take off my sunglasses than my shoes, which seems to be arbitrary by airport. Usually no need to remove shoes, but sometimes you have to. Take off your shoes on the plane and you should be subject to punishment!

The Braves put their new stadium in a similar style of development called the Battery with hotels, theaters, restaurants and all kinds of commercial and retail space plus a couple thousand apartments. It’s fantastic. Can Cleveland pull it off? It would be great if they can get it right, but it’s a mighty big gamble. I hope he does better than the D. Watson contract gamble, for the sake of Cleveland, not the Brown’s owner.

Minneapolis had one too, and it was as cold as you would expect, single digits. It really is a great city and we had a blast, but I’d rather be heading somewhere more desirable for my February vacation.

Other than the inexplicable loss to the Bengals, we are struggling to get past Mahomes and Reid. Just like the rest of the league. I happen to believe that people can get better at their jobs, and I believe we are not that far away from getting over the top.

If we don’t win the Super Bowl…… everybody should be fired. That seems to be the sentiment from some.
