  1. I hope the Chiefs next make the playoffs when he gets out and can be there to cheer them on live.
  2. Sorry, off topic, but the thought made me chuckle: My wife’s parents were very “old country”. Other than a couple times on the golf course, and eventually in the hospital, I never saw her father not wearing a tie. English was her mother’s third language (after Arabic and French) and she spoke in a very formal way. It’s what she was taught in boarding school in Lebanon, not growing up in the Bronx. Very different. We moved to Sarasota, FL in 1993, known for Siesta Key beach. Naturally, we wanted to take my MIL to all the great things in town when she came to visit. The opera house was great, but I had to tap the brakes when the wife wanted to show her the beach. Her dad was always in a tie, and her mom was ALWAYS in high heels. I asked my wife how she saw that going, and we just cruised thru the parking lot. That girl is going to sink into the grass, but there will be no shortage of people eager to help her up. .
  3. I’ve always wanted to work in landscape management. I would give her footwear a one time exemption.
  4. Not an electric mower, but we had a self propelled mulching mower when I was a teenager. I was racing the kid across the street to get our lawns mowed before we could go somewhere. I finished first and mowed his name in his front yard. The mulching mower worked. His name grew in greener and seemed to grow faster. His father made me come back and mow the whole front yard so it didn’t look so stupid. Oops! EDIT: I think my sister still has that thing and uses it in the short Wisconsin summers. That’s back when things were built to last. .
  5. Let’s see if we DO get over the hump first. Then if we do NOT get over the hump, we can analyze why. A lot of people here have the solution already when we don’t even know if we have a problem.
  6. Would you rather have paid more for better? How about everyone else in your section?
  7. My son has/had an electric mower. He got a little more than a year ago. When it died recently, he paid someone to come out and tell him they are basically disposable now, like TV’s. It’s quite possible he got a cheapo model (that would fit his style) but I suggest you look into reviews about durability. Not trying to discourage, just offering a bit of experience. Good luck! EDIT: He says the guy who came to look at it said water had apparently gotten into it, which is apparently a common issue. Worth knowing if it’s easily avoided. He kept it in the garage and never used water on it. 🤷‍♂️ .
  8. Technically, he did play at Mississippi State on 11/23/17, and he did not score a TD. He had one catch for 5 yards. Clearly I have too much time on my hands.
  9. The seats would look bigger if we saw Dalton Kincaid sitting in one.
  10. Just imagine being so rich….. Crazy, I know. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/derek-carr-gives-up-30-million-to-retire It’s his life, and I’m glad he’s living it the way he wants. I hope he’s happy.
  11. ABSOLUTELY! The poor guy never had a chance behind that line. It’s hard to come back from that kind of beating without flinching, but I looked and he still got about 10 years in the league and about $40mil. Good for them. Interesting tidbit speaking of brothers, did you know Reid Ferguson’s brother is/was the LS for Miami?
  12. He had better have something very nice for Mom tomorrow. Good for him lasting as long as he did. His brother set a record for sacks early on and we’ll never know what he might have been. I think David made $40 Mil, which is still a lot of money for some people. 🤣 Very different times and different careers. .
  13. That sounds like his unreasonable way of seeing things. I’m glad he’s not my father. My kid was never valedictorian, but I’m still very proud of all he’s accomplished.
  14. He seems deliberately obtuse here, and it’s getting old.
  15. Did you miss the part about 10th most in yards? How about the torn PCL? Is there anything that pleases you?
  16. I believe I heard today that he is the highest paid public employee in the state at $10 Mil. It’s hard to call him a loser in all of this. .
  17. They would have had to change, and THEN Kelly could have had his big day. But no, it was not to be. I can live with it. I honestly hope the 13 second people can find peace in time.
  18. He will be 26 in September. The last year of his contract and a franchise year gets him to the age of 28 as an NFL RB. I’m not sure how many more years I want to commit to for now, but I do love the threat he brings on every play. This may be a good compromise.
  19. If Kelly is just willing to handoff to Thurman, which they were daring him to do, our time of possession goes up, we win the Super Bowl and Thurman is the MVP. Period.
  20. I am quite certain there will be a Super Bowl in our future this year. I can feel it in my bones. I have no idea who will be playing in it. .
  21. Umm, that would be @HOUSE. Not a big deal, but I prefer guys showing us things on the field over saying things off the field. Especially the young guys.
  22. I was talking about him coming out of college. I don’t hate the guy, he’s from my wife’s hometown. He just got a ton of hype for a few plays, including the one where he was unblocked and a guy lost his helmet. He wasn’t a terror off the edge, but he was good at what he did. .
  23. You don’t have to do anything, but you seem kinda eager and I wouldn’t hold that against you at all.
  24. How about if he washed his hair?
  25. Absolutely! I’ve shared this here before but we have a neighbor who is a very prominent architect and author. He does super high end residential properties all over creation. He saw the Bills stuff in our house and said his wife was going to the beach with friends but he’s not a beach guy. Instead, he was flying to Buffalo the next day to do his own architectural tour. People who know, know. He did send me a pic of wings and beer the next day. I said you have to try the pizza too! Seconds later I get a pic of his pizza. He’s a man of fine taste.
