You can roll the dice. I like the guy who has us in contention every year as a perennial SB favorite. You may get another Rex or who knows what. There is a very significant risk that the team slides backward. McD would be unemployed for just a few minutes until he decided which job he’d like next. The next fanbase would be THRILLED to have him. It’s certainly not perfect, but I like the idea of letting him continue to grow in the job. It took Ried quite a few years to get his first ring. I don’t really think a 15 year old would do better. McD has the second best winning percentage in professional sports in North America over the last 5 years. The fans whining bother me about as much as the loss. We had a pretty darn good year, and while I’m disappointed I can appreciate what we witnessed and look forward to our future. .

No, you are telling us what to do, then you say you are not qualified to make that call on how to move forward. You can’t have it both ways. What is your plan? Tear it down is easy. What should we do going forward. You never tear anything down without a plan, but that’s what you want to do. Even message boards require reasonable thoughts to be taken seriously.

This must be exhausting for you. Nobody wants to hear reason right now. Everybody is just lurking until it’s time to come out of the woodwork and complain about everyone and everything. If we won last night but lost the next one, the complaints will be largely the same, and generally unfounded. Nobody said it would be easy. I had a great time this season. I wish it had lasted longer, but I was a very fun year of football for me and I like our future.

Back in our early days out of college I had a client/friend who would throw one giant bash a year. He did it on AFC/NFC Championship weekend. He was a little older and a successful attorney, and his parities didn’t look like our college parties. He had an open bar with bartenders, and quality catered food like shrimp cocktail and snow crabs among a lot of other stuff. It was far more “adult” than anything we were used to, and it was awesome! We looked forward to that for years! THIS is the best Sunday of the year for a party. Forget Super Bowl weekend. Twice as much football means less time for hype, and you also stand a good chance of getting at least one good game. The problem with that is, if the Bills are playing I want 100% of the attention on the football. So I am home alone.

Atlanta Georgia Staying home alone with my two dogs I’ll probably be pretty drunk after the game, so no plans. I’ll wait and see what kind of trouble I end up in. EDIT: I just noticed that for the first time ever the people we used to like across the street have a Chiefs flag up. That may be where I get into trouble after the game. .
