It doesn’t matter if Brady and Bellichick never had dinner together, their souls shared that deep craving to skirt the rules to achieve a full life. I wouldn’t trust Brady for a second, and as an opponent I’d be aware of his presence and very careful what I shared.

Are there any personal goals you are trying to achieve now?
Augie replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
I have an appointment with an ortho doc next week. They will confirm that my rotator cuff is currently shredded, then get me to PT. My goal is to do enough PT that I can get back on a tennis court and do my best, without having limitations (or pain!) created by my shoulder. It seems simple enough, but this is a battle I’ve been fighting for decades and I want to put it to rest. I just don’t heal the way I used to, so I need to make it happen. -
Holy crap, I'm finally coming to Buffalo! 53 years in the making

If you go to Schwabl’s, it would be a shame not to have the German potato salad. I flew in a week ago today and took my wife there straight from the airport. Be forewarned, the building is so old the men’s room is no bigger than the bathroom on the plane….but at least it’s inside! There are a lot of great places for BoW and I tried several of them. There was just not enough time for all the foods I was craving! -

Bigger guys generally do not move as well as smaller guys. Don’t try to lose sight of that, it’s an important point. Yes, they all need to read and react….then they need to get there. That is where speed comes in. -

So, guys who can’t cover as well? It’s a balancing act. -
Nothing personal, but I bet you’d get higher ratings amongst this crowd.

Somehow I get the impression you could be in any seat, and make it front and center.

Anything beyond beating the Dolphins on Thursday night in Week 3 is jumping the gun. If it’s music related, my wife seems to care about the SB halftime shows, but she also likes the commercials while I’m more concerned about the football. Just the football. .

Yes, it is a bit amusing. I don’t think there is a there is an actual point, it’s all shtick.

I don’t like when the love/hate pendulum swings too far one way or the other. I can see him having a hat trick with a false start, a hold and a drop on Thursday before getting injured in a freak Zamboni accident. I’m just looking for some balance.

Bill Polian can see Lamar Jackson as a WR. We all have our hits and misses. -

….and pray he doesn’t pull a hammy on that stretch run. -
You look familiar. What section do you sit in?

For those who pray, my daughter needs them please

My prayers go out to all of you. I believe faith goes a long way. God bless you all. -
He looked like one more piece of the puzzle in what little we saw of him in preseason. You can usually stop one guy (unless he’s Chris Jones), but two or more is much more difficult. If we had every guy on the roster healthy and available at the same time, we have a very formidable defensive front.

The Field of Dreams was on last night, btw. Just sayin’. 😊 I hear you on seeing the baseball field. I detested watching games on TV with a baseball field. However, it’s still how I remember the Rockpile. I can point out right where our seats were in that shot, too. I haven’t done a deep dive yet looking for a definite winner but it will be something along those lines - three aerial photos to compare and contrast.

I guess because I was a little kid, it feels like that place went back to the beginning of time, just like the Bills. The gates at the entry could have been the Roman Colosseum to me!

Any thoughts on Dorian Williams about to be starting again?

Edmunds was always easy to spot out there, he was the big guy. You didn’t need to look at his number, he stood out. -
It’s takes like this that make me thankful for the ignore function. I used to kind of do a “manual ignore”, but the technology exists for a reason. Have a nice life.

My upcoming project for the man cave in the basement is framed posters of all three stadiums. The current stadium is easy with a lot of options. I have found some interesting possibilities for the Rockpile, but that is not as easy as it sounds. Obviously, I have a little time before the new place is unveiled so I have time to keep looking. This is my favorite in the clubhouse for the Rockpile print. I think it would go well with the framed program covers from the early 60’s we have on one wall.

RIP A great talent got to choose some great roles.

I try to go to the home opener and one relatively convenient or interesting road game every year. Honestly, the experience is so good at home that is the max I’d want to do in person. I’m getting too old for 7 hours tailgates. EDIT: My road game this year is in my backyard in ATL, but it’s our 2nd night game of the year. I prefer day games, but that was not meant to be this year. .

I know that, but that’s not the point. There are good players on bad teams. Al Davis fell in love with guys who won Super Bowls and overpaid, the opposite. The win/loss record does not determine if a guy can play in the NFL.
