  1. That seemed to come quickly and naturally for you. Hmmmm…….. 😋 Every time this topic comes up I shed a little tear that the Duff’s franchise 45 minutes from me closed down. It was a haul, but I could get my fix. The rest I’ve seen, including an Anchor Bar, are just imposters. .
  2. I feel badly actually, because I’m not sure if you can distinguish between people laughing with you, and people laughing at you. So feel free to carry on with….whatever it is you do.
  3. I apologize in advance to everyone who has this poster on ignore for some reason (we get it), but this is such classic stuff I thought you might appreciate it. If not? My bad. 🤷‍♂️
  4. If you have to ask, it seems we have identified a major sticking point. There are all different kinds of intelligence. .
  5. Have we ruled out gas, for goodness sake?
  6. Does it ever occur to you that it’s not as much about what you do, as how you do it? What is your goal?
  7. Does it matter if he’s the only one?
  8. He will be judged, in time. It’s not my place to judge. I wasn’t there. Is it possible the son or someone else did it? 🤷‍♂️
  9. I know that, just like soccer. But they should argue that. She argued inequality as I recall. HINT: I love women’s tennis and I’m all for them getting paid, but Serena Williams is not the beautiful smiling face you see in interviews. I’d never tell her to her face how much I don’t like her because I’m too polite. And more than a little afraid of her. 😋
  10. With my eyesight and memory, it’s hard to say. 🤷‍♂️
  11. You look quite familiar. Have we met, or are you that guy in the mirror when I shave?
  12. OWW!!! That HURT!
  13. Our first house was right on the marsh overlooking a large sound. With a spring tide the water came right up to the backyard and we could take my buddies kayak out to the tidal creeks leading to the sound. There was a point full of trees that served as a windscreen. I nearly had “an incident” when that breeze caught and shocked me! Nothing like rolling on your maiden voyage, but narrowly averted. Kayaks AND paddle boards appeal to me more than high speeds on a jet ski! My spine has been jarred enough on jet skis! They are nice for just toddling up canals boats might struggle with, though.
  14. I am all for equality, including with prize money in tournaments, but we have a problem. If they women want equal pay they should have to play best of 5 sets. Sorry, that may be my jerk post of the day, but if we are going to be equal, then we should be equal, right? Equal pay for equal work. Maybe I feel this way because Serena was the champion for equal play and after experiencing her in person on practice courts, I just plain don’t like her. One of the most dominant athletes of all time, men or women in any sport, but a Class A jerk in person. I guess you could say the say thing about Michael Jordan and others, but I was glad to see the “real Serena” come out a few years ago at the US Open when she was caught on camera yelling at the line judge “I’ll shove this ball up your @ss!” That was the Serena we saw on the practice courts at the Miami tournament.
  15. Jessica Pegula advances again, this time 6-4 and 6-0. Save that wear and tear, stay fresh!
  16. WOW! This took me back to my weekly trip to Chili’s to get the USA Today on the bar on Tuesdays to read two sentences about the Bills.
  17. Have you ever had a better hour? 😋 I’m glad you passed the stress test.
  18. Like, you can get the WSJ, The Athletic and TBN for $35/month? What an idea! 😋
  19. I have a question, and maybe it’s been answered, but what does it cost if you pick one up….wherever you pick up a newspaper now. I see them in the grocery store sometimes. I might look at a book store if I needed one? I don’t love it, but I get it. Paper died a while ago. I’m still a hard cover guy.
  20. Does this feel the the Sunday Ticket all over again? That was a joke! A bad joke.
  21. On a related note, it seems Murray just hurt himself slipping on the grass and went down hard. He recovered enough to win one service point ending the set, then they called it for the night. The way he was grabbing his junk sitting in his chair was a mixture of confusing and disturbing. He acted like he’d been whacked in the goods with his racquet! Replay showed he just slipped. He was fortunate it ended so conveniently in front of his home crowd.
  22. AND you could afford a book of crossword puzzles as well! I used to enjoy the newspaper years ago when we lived in smaller towns. The Atlanta paper is like a phone book full of stuff I don’t care about, and about to follow the phone book out of existence.
  23. My wife’s family has been involved with St Jude Children’s Hospital since the beginning. Nothing touches your heart more than a child with an illness like that. And it can be so painful and devastating for the family as well. Prayers sent for Eddie AND his family. Just to be clear, neither Nick or Eddie are Nigerian Princes, correct?
  24. How did Tre White do in goal? Looking 100%?
