  1. Could this be a factor? “AI Overview During the 2024 NFL season, Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid had a significant knee injury in his left knee, specifically a PCL sprain, that caused him to miss multiple games. He also had bursitis in his right knee, and despite playing through some pain, his production declined, leading to a disappointing season before he was fully healthy for the start of the 2025 season.” Just looking at stats without context can be misleading. I love that Kincaid has apparently stepped up his blocking this year as well. The book is not written yet on this season, much less his career. Oh, and the other 31 teams have scouts (just barely for the Bengals) and GM’s too. They are all paid to do their best, so it was actually a rather silly point you responded to. The most anyone can offer is their best guess. Life is not an algebra problem.
  2. First, It’s a message board, so I don’t think I “butted into” anything. Secondly, if they can know the future, I have much more important things for them to be doing. It doesn’t matter where I came in, this is akin to your “everything but a SB victory makes you a loser” style of thinking. Nobody knows the future, so I guess we are all losers using that thinking.
  3. Do we have to watch next week too? This could get exhausting! Do you know how long a season lasts? We should just get one of those people who can see the future to tell us how this all turns out. Maybe we don’t even want to watch?
  4. Do you get a kick out of being deliberately obtuse? I guess you’re just in one of your moods. You make decisions based upon the greater body of evidence. Josh misses open receivers and makes bad throws on occassion. Should we fire him?
  5. You realize this isn’t a math problem, right? It’s not an exact process and there are countless factors to take into account. NOBODY knows who will be better until things have played out….and we are far from done. An experienced Realtor evaluates houses as part of their job. That doesn’t mean they can tell you which house on the street will sell first or for the most money. You make your best call, then see how it goes. Just like the other GMs in the NFL.
  6. I aim for garrulous, but sometimes I slobber a bit. I’m a hybrid. This may seem odd, but I feel badly for everyone here, including Sanchez. I get that what he apparently/allegedly did was horrible and inexcusable, but that’s what can happen to people under the wrong conditions. I also get that he created this for himself (and it’s much worse for the victim) but the whole thing is just so sad. He’s not evil to his core. Something set this off. It doesn’t get Sanchez off the hook in any way, he’ll face the music, but he’s harmed himself as well and I hate to see that. I’ve witnessed this stuff up close and personal, so maybe that maybe makes me less quick to judge. That will come in time. .
  7. How about the odd hour games from Germany or Dublin? Or the Jags outlet in London? Interested in going to see your team play in Mexico City or Brazil? They often seem more interested in the fans they don’t have than in the fans they do have.
  8. He’s acting as though he’s professionally involved in the investigation, or maybe he’s that little kid in the Grisham novels about the kid lawyer. Except that kid was really bright for his age. 🤣
  9. There is no venom, as you suggest. It truly is not personal, even if some are going to take it that way. Life in a lot of other places is more expensive (often FAR more) than in WNY. The Bills are just catching up. It’s not capital letters in bold font, but it is a fact.
  10. Very sad. She had some great roles. RIP
  11. Let’s start by wearing Buffalo Bills uniforms, complete with a Bills helmet. That shouldn’t be too difficult.
  12. We are fortunate enough to have volunteers who panic enough for the whole crowd.
  13. I think of Samuel as being prone to possibly taking a roster spot one day. There, now he’s due for a few big plays.
  14. How about if you knew he lived in your zip code?
  15. Who am I to argue? 🤷‍♂️
  16. So, which one of you might be fallible? 🤷‍♂️
  17. Why are you pretending to know more than the professional law enforcement officers and the Bills research team regarding these allegations? Were you there? How many of these people have you personally interviewed? How would you like it if your brother was unfairly accused? There are two sides to almost everything, but you tend to ignore what doesn’t fit your narrative. In 2021 Max Hairston was just a middling college prospect, not a rich athlete. I don’t know what happened, but I know enough to trust professional people who have actual knowledge and facts before someone who is angry on the internet. .
  18. It’s amusing for a while, but I’ve enjoyed the ignore feature since I’ve started weeding out the trash.
  19. Hyperbole much?
  20. The Packers D has been good so far, but they have only scored 104 points in 5 games, compared to our 153 points. The Rams, Chiefs and Texans have only given up 5-6 points total fewer than the Bills thru 5 games. That’s pretty darn close. I know you want your complaining to be justified, but we are not as miserable as you’d like us to think. Could we hit on more top players in the draft? Sure. Most teams will tell you the same thing.
  21. If you think his injury in camp justifies your criticism at the draft, I’m afraid I’m just not following. He missed one college game in 2022, no games in 2023 and 5 in 2024, but that was a result of an infection that he got from an injection. Not an actual football injury. Even a Magic 8 Ball was not going to see this one coming. Is he a little slight? Sure. But that’s part of the sacrifice you make when you are trying to add blazing speed to the defensive backfield. EDIT: He’s about 16 pounds of muscle heavier than Worthy, so he can’t be too slight if you are touting Worthy. This feels like cherry picking to make a point that you are not a fan of Beane and his drafting. Those other teams have whiffs in the draft and unforeseeable injuries as well. Heck, Worthy has his own thread here, and he just missed some games because he ran into a teammate. crap happens. .
  22. The best pizza I’ve ever had I made myself…..in a cooking class in Rome (Italy, not NY). They let you know it’s not a Naples style pizza, it’s different. And it was amazing! I have a pic of my wife with an entire pie in front of her, then a pic of her taking the last bite. It was so light it never filled you up. Don’t even get me started on the gelato!
  23. If they get you into the playoffs, that was a fair price to pay. Once you are IN the playoffs you have a chance to win it. As we know, a third round pick comes with no guarantees. .
  24. I had Buffalo style today for lunch (the owner is from Grand Island) and it was pretty good. There are some decent places with more NY style around, I guess. Not a huge preference in style, I think the quality of the joint matters more. The one that stands out as a different food to me is Chicago deep dish. We used to go out to a place after Monday night tennis to drink beer, watch MNF and have free pizza at halftime. They put out amazing deep dish pizza, and not just because it was free. They sold by the slice and I’d go there for lunch. They sold and eventually went out of business but those were great times. Thinking of that, I took my Mom to a place here that sells deep dish. It’s not until you sit down do you learn it takes 45-50 minutes. No thanks.
