But at least you'd get a dome, right?
-
This is the stuff in life that makes you old. Congrats. 😋 .
-
It solves sleeping without rib jabs and a pissed off spouse. After that, we are all on our own, I suppose…..
-
Was Gorilla Glue involved? 😋 The strap helps, sleeping in another bedroom solves everything. Going back to that old thread, I do that some….and it works for us. To each their own.

I believe his answer is……all three.

A buddy of mine LOVES his CPAP, even for quick naps. FAR different from me. But he did turn me on to these red chin straps that go over your head to help keep your mouth closed. That really seemed to help and it was far less annoying than the CPAP. It was a nice supplement. I’m not sure what the bold is about. I had the nasal pillows with a stretchy head gear, PLUS a separate chin strap. The head gear for the nasal pillows was enough to hold it in place for the most part. The chin strap was to help keep my mouth closed. .

This is exactly me. I couldn’t stand the full mask and went to the nose pillows. It was the least awful option I could come up with. Just keep your mouth shut. I admit that I used to snore VERY badly. I would wake myself up at times. My wife would storm out in the middle of the night. On the CPAP that subsided, but I could only stand to wear it about 4 hours/night. Wife is early to bed and early to rise, so if I stayed up to about 1am, I could wear it until she got up about 5am. Now? IDK, but something has changed. I’ve lost some weight and learned to not sleep on my back much, and I just don’t snore the way I used to. Maybe I don’t drink as much as I used to as well? 🤷♂️ Alcohol feeds snoring! When we fly I HATE having an extra bag to take, but the wife insists. We went to Europe in the spring and I took it. There was no second hotel room in case I snored. I wore it as much as I could early on, but soon realized if I didn’t have it on I was getting no complaints. I haven’t worn it since. Oh, and if you are going to take a sleep study to get approved for insurance, I highly suggest you consume more than a doctors approved amount of alcohol that evening. I had VERY IMPRESSIVE sleep study results from my home test!

I’m with you, behind our GM and HC for now. But the process used to put more value on coordinators. We recently had a former HC as DC and a future HC as OC. Now we have no DC, a stretched HC and a new(ish) OC who has proven little to date. It seems there may be a bit of a brain drain, but Josh getting his head together is the critical issue.

OK, don’t expect bonus points, but you won’t get relegated! 😋

TBDAHOT 24* Parking! Raiders at Bills Sunday Sept 17th
Augie replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Go find @mead107 or whoever has name tags. I’m sure people will want to meet you. That’s a really cool part of the experience. I’m afraid I will miss it this year, but have a great time! -
He was wearing an Eagles sweatshirt. Do we even have to guess who gets the extra comp picks?
-
You should start a thread about that….two days after Bills game #1 when nobody has seen much of anything about college football yet.

I think getting off the sidewalk will help. Maybe find a quiet park?

NFLPA renews call for natural grass on all fields after Rodgers injury
Augie replied to T&C's topic in The Stadium Wall
Doesn’t it pull out to get sun, or something crazy? Natural grass obviously doesn’t prevent all injuries, but I firmly believe it helps, including with the dreaded concussions. I’d like to se edit in every stadium possible, but obviously tough to do in most domes and some locations. Beat me to it! First expert I thought of!!! -
I’m glad we only get the Jets D on more time, and on our field. Like making a shot in basketball, it gives you more confidence that you can make the next one. Sometimes you just need a few layups or put backs to feel it. It doesn’t have to be 5 feet behind the arc. Get a rhythm. Gain confidence.

We are a special group in that way. 😋 Let’s see what things look like next week. Josh is still The Man, he just needs to get his mojo back. I try to avoid overreactions and huge swings of emotion. The season is young.

So, a guy with sour grapes. I don’t know what happened, and as always I’ll withhold judgement until we have something more firm than this allegation. Has this been corroborated in any way? I really don’t think Terry would be that ignorant, even if he felt that way (which I obviously hope he does not).

Do the Bills need a " Quarterback Whisperer?"
Augie replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh needs a calming voice, one settling down the space between his ears. I don’t think Mr Tablet Smasher fits the bill. There was a sports psychologist in our tennis group. Everybody knew if you moved in a little bit to challenge his second serve, he would double fault on cue. Don was a nice guy, but I never saw him professionally. 😋 Josh needs a GOOD sports psychologist. Like the one from Ted Lasso who could magically change seats on you moving closer. -
If he doesn’t want to play, there will be an injury settlement. Nobody just walks away from that kind of money.
-
In this regard they are fortunate that it didn’t come a few months down the road, but it’s still a punch in the gut!
-
He’s talked about retiring every year for a while now. It’s the attention he craves, like with his public hallucinogens reports or the darkness retreat. He could do that without us knowing about it, but that’s who he is. I’m of the mind he comes back for the money, at least next year. Long recovery ahead of him, though. Which he did. That’s how it works.
-
Do you think he’d retire and leave all that money on the table? He may be smug enough and wealthy enough to make that choice, but it would surprise me. I wonder if his ego will let him come back after a grueling surgery and rehab, and never be “himself” anymore. We’re not even sure who his was before last night. He’s got plenty of ego. The money is guaranteed, it’s hard to pass on. I say money wins. When in doubt, follow the money.
-
Yeah, RB is not the reason we lost. That was on #17. I miss Daboll more with every game that passes. Josh needs a calming influence, and Mr Tablet Smasher is not that.
-
Three different QB’s played last night, and Josh is the one who decided the game. The farther removed from Daboll he gets, the more concerned I get. His tools haven’t changed, but he needs to settle down between the ears.
