A few years ago McD had a former HC and a future HC working for him. Wise move to surround yourself with minds like that, especially in his early years as HC. Now, could he use some more brain talent around? Of course. I love what the D has looked like, but I worry about him being stretched too thin. 🤞 .

I think Colombo caught some guy who killed his enemy with that stuff! Riveting episode! 😋

I thought we were going to get a smellfish recipe. I love recipe threads, but I’m nervous about “smellfish”.

You’re a guy living in CocaCola Town. Pepsi must need SOME kind of help to make it passable, right?

Bears/Broncos tickets are going for as low as 20 bucks

For that game and $20, I’d want them to throw in a beer, a jersey and maybe a bobblehead collection. -
This will indeed be the first real test. It will also be just one of 17 regular season games, so I will try not to overreact regardless of outcome. The story line of our hot D against the team that just scored 70 points is juicy as all get out! The Jets game was just an odd start to the season. I’m not sure what to make of that. I think we we ready for the game we expected, but were forced to play a different game, for better or worse. .

Visiting Teams having Lots of Fans in the Stands
Augie replied to Bob Jones's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have been to multiple Bills road games where Bills gear was over 50% of the crowd. We travel well. Right there at the top of the heap for travelers. I’ve been offered NLF tickets for free early in the season in Florida, and I declined. Wisely, I might add. -
Hypothetically… Brian Daboll gets the boot….

You’d think he would take better care of his coffee pot…… -
I watched every second, even pausing when I had to run out for a bit. Go re-read the title. I think you are hearing what you want to hear. Seriously, with zero snarkiness. He’s is all over MAYBE, because we can’t say anything for sure. I don’t swear there IS intelligent life out there, but I can’t dismiss the possibility. That would be dumb, because as he says we don’t know enough. Your “expert” there is just the ant on top of the anthill in Africa somewhere. Sure, he has more degrees than me, but he’s just another ant. I don’t think you realize how little we know about how all this works!

Well, I must say that was a deep, well thought out and reasoned argument. Kind of like the old people version of “I know you are, but what am I?”

Every game will not be like THIS game, so those with the determination will find a way to work in their message to us. I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything. I just happen to enjoy watching football. I just have occasional observations. Something has to give next week vs the Dolphins. That great D against the team that just put up 70 points. And I thought the writers were on strike!!! 😋 .

If you think .00001% is the unknown, I don’t know how to help you. That is closer to what we DO know! We don’t even know much about our own oceans, forget the rest of the universe and laws of physics. Most of the universe is dark energy and dark matter, and we don’t even know what that is. You flatter our knowledge as a species, greatly. I say we know very close to squat and there are things we cannot even imagine all around us.

Let’s start with the title, “Why we MIGHT be alone.” Then he goes on to explain how we don’t have enough information to make many conclusions because…..we don’t know. I don’t think this is as convincing as you seem to think it is. He says it’s OK to say “I don’t know what’s out there”, but you seem to take that as proof that there is nothing out there. That sounds like some of that bias he was warning against. Thank you for supporting the thoughts of many with this clip.

Bill Belichick has his dog running his drafts, so I see no problem with you letting a cat walk across your keyboard to start a thread. 🤷♂️

I’m sure many parts of Sydney wished you had had a chance to clean up as well. 😂

Bernard should just walk off and retire after that quarter, it’s not getting any better for him. Has a first quarter intermission retirement been done before? -
I’m also arriving at Heathrow Thursday morning about 8am (Delta from ATL) and I figured I’d drop my bag at the hotel and wander about. I was curious about check-in time and just realized it looks like I’m booked for Wed night! The sensible thing to do would be to cancel that night. The wife said “just keep it if you want, you might be glad you did.” I love my wife! As for the transportation, we’ll just have to figure it out. I guess that will have to be part of the adventure! .

No, YOU took it there. Do you pay taxes? Why? -

Forget the smoke and mirrors. Do you pay taxes? If so, why? -
I’m afraid I’ll miss that little ditty while I hit the head and reload on food and drink. THAT is what halftime of a Super Bowl is dedicated to.

WAIT! Where do I apply for that position? That sounds right up my alley! 🍺 🍺

I knew it was the father of someone here, but did not recall who. Those covers are a nice childhood memory and look great on the wall by the big screen downstairs!
