So, that is probably more thumbs up than thumbs down, I guessing? Apologies, this day of me largely ignoring family here for a birthday party has taken a toll on me. I just kept bringing up bottles of wine for….”us”. 🍷

“Is it safe?” Dustin Hoffman knows what I mean. 😋 Was 48-20 enough to tamp down the “realists”? Never too high, nor too low. It’s a long season, and then it gets exciting! That feels great to type as a Bills fan.

Tre White Injury Updates (Torn Achilles now confirmed)
Augie replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Achilles are a B word. He seemed to know. Hoping and praying for the best. It happens to all teams, I think it just FEELS like it happens more to us. -

Didn’t Von have a partial ACL tear? I’m not an expert, but I think it has to be FIXED completely. Tre acted like Aaron Rodgers, he “knew”, but he was more outwardly emotional. -

But what are you going to do about it? I think the only viable option may be to suffer thru it. Both in terms of cap and talent. I’m sure I’ve missed a lot of cap implication talk. Please feel free to enlighten me. This sucks for Tre, the team and the fans, but it’s a fact of life in the NFL. Ask Jets fans. -
Isn’t that great to see AFTER they sign the big contract! I love a guy who wants to EARN IT!

Tre White Injury Updates (Torn Achilles now confirmed)

He was just becoming himself again. It’s a terrible shame, but he will be back for the playoff run next year. Hopefully closer to 100% than he was after the ACL. He’s supremely talented and knows his job. He just needs to be healthy. -
You are kind, and quite generous.

Great game in every respect, except for Tre. That makes me sick for him.

I heard on Dan Patrick last week that Beast Mode just made the dictionary. One of more than 600 words/phrases added. Skittles sugar rush still waiting for inclusion.

Do we still want to trade Elam? That was silly talk!

Was it his right knee last time?

I am sick for Tre. No words…..we will be ok.

What's on Your Grill for Tomorrow's Dolphins Game?
Augie replied to HIT BY SPIKES's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mango salsa can make a meal, especially a nice piece of fish!!! I’ve made it to enjoy with scoop chips and that’s one thing I can just keep eating, for better or worse. -

We will be celebrating my BDay (a bit early), but our granddaughter is turning one. In addition to a couple of cards for me there is a house full of things for one year old girls. But the wife says she’s got food covered. Our son’s in-laws are coming, so it can’t be TOO crappy! 😂 But seriously, how am I supposed to do THIS game, AND a one year old birthday party? Some things are best not mixed, I say. But I’ll do my best! -
I almost hate to say it, but I was at that exact age to soak up the entire OJ experience. I was about 10 watching the local news special with OJ highlight reels from USC. I read the book. We had season tickets. I remember where I was when he ran for about 250 vs Boston, my parents would see them at McMahons on Main St for dinner, I lived near him in Chapel Woods. So I was fascinated at 9-10 years old, before he even arrived, and in his later years we’d drink beer and drive by his house and yell teenage stuff at the crowd he had over post-game hanging in front of his house. Those were formative years. And then, there was that thing……

Well you just keep working on that! We all believe in you!

I like to think he can make his routes as disciplined as his eyes. A guy with that catch rate knows how to focus.
-
With Allen throwing at him he should WANT to get a little deeper so he doesn’t get his fingers broken!
-
I don’t love the guy, but he’s turned around a tire fire in a year. It takes time to develop players and depth. His team fought back and made it interesting today when I thought the rout was on. I’ll give the self-promoter and his guys credit for that.

I just saw a YouTube clip that made me look up this CityMapper app. I didn’t see it posted and I have no idea if it’s the best thing ever, or hot garbage. Probably somewhere in the middle. Anyway, they say in the event of a strike, they will not only tell you what Tube line to take, where to transfer, etc, but they will re-route you in a way that will work. Anyone familiar with this, or is it so simple and obvious everyone knew about it? https://citymapper.com/london?lang=en

How old are they? How long are they expected to last? There was an area in Venice, FL where somebody was very successful selling solar panels many decades ago. Virtually zero were actually functioning when I was working that area. I’m sure each generation has gotten better and better, but those old ones were more likely to make your roof leak than help your utility bills. I hope they keep improving the technology because it does seem like a wasted opportunity.
