Cowherd killing Bills coaching in his monologue

As Singletary gets chased down from behind by nose tackles...game after game after game...decent first move that can make people miss, but has ankle weights on and can't run. -
2023 Buffalo Bills Comp. Pick Move?
Billzfan37 replied to BuffalothruMyVeins's topic in The Stadium Wall
He just had the number one defense in the league missing his top corner. He's NEVER getting fired with results like that unless he has a huge beef with the head coach or GM. -
If you really believe that then you need to go put $$ on TB now - since the line is -3. This mean that Vegas believes that the Bills/Bucs is a tie on a neutral field. Despite the Bills issues and lack of continuity so far, a lot of people still think they are a Superbowl favorite.

How many days does it take you to process a Bills loss?
Billzfan37 replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every year, there are a couple of high flying pre-season favorites that puke out. For example, the Browns are sitting right there with 6 losses and like the Bills, they were a preseason super bowl favorite for some. Last year, Tampa Bay went 7-5 through their first 12 games with an embarrassing blowout loss to the Saints that mirrored our Colts loss, and another bad showing against the Bears, and 3 straight November losses. The Bucs were 7-5 (like us) going into their December 13th game against the Vikings, and they never lost again that season. Like the Bills, they had a deep, talented roster and had to find their identity. So far, our identity has been to piss away opportunities...but if we wake up this weekend, it could start a hot streak that wins the whole thing. -
The issue was that we had a 100 yard kick return called back because of Andre Smith (who had 2 bad penalties). There's 7 right there. We also have to stop kicking 24 and 28 yard field goals. You go for it there, and if you're 50% on converting those to TD's you're still a point ahead of taking two field goals. Last, we had AJ Epineza and Boogie Basham inactive. Why? WTF do we have FOUR backup linebackers in Metakavich, Dodson, Klein, and Smith ACTIVE - and two young stud pass rushers inactive when all those junk LB's do is special teams. This game was lost earlier in the week when they decided who to play and who to sit. I get that we need special teams studs, but most of that game is fair catches and touchbacks now - we could have brought pressure from guys that know how to get pressure. Addison is soft and played way too many snaps.

We need to ease off on other fans' misery.

Can you imagine if the Pats would have won the game yesterday against Dallas? It would have been a situation where everyone was blowing Belichick again nonstop for a whole week. The Pats fans would be insufferable. As it was, the officials almost gave the game to the Pats on multiple occasions. They can go 0-500 in their next 500 and I wouldn't feel a single twinge of compassions for any Patriots fan. They could draft the #1 QB with the first pick in the draft and lose that player to a career ending injury on their first NFL snap for 10 straight years, and I'd feel nothing for them - especially since there aren't any pre-Brady era Pats fans out there anyway. Bandwagon addicted, smug, pompous a-hats. Can't stand that franchise, and never will. -
Jordan Poyer admits to being an alcoholic

I didn't mean to sound so snarky - and I agree that only total abstinence works for some. I can see how that "techinically" makes them an alcoholic forever, if they literally have a single drink and immediately spiral back to rock bottom again. However, I've found that often times alcoholics just trade going to AA meetings every day for drinking. It's very cultish - much like a religion. For some, all they can talk about is sobriety. And man, the caffeine and energy drinks. It's as if their addictive personalities and traits have to be expressed through another drug - the drug of acceptance from other for their newfound sobriety, or loads and loads of caffeine. I dated a girl a few years back that cracked a red bull by 10 AM and didn't stop pounding them all day. For others, it's exercise. I have a buddy that does marathons, 50K races, 50 mile races, and 100 mile ultra-marathons. He said sometimes 1/3 of the field is either a recovering narcotics (NA) or alcoholic (AA) - it's as if they never sought out a psychologist/therapist or ever truly looked within/inward to work on (and resolve or get to the root cause of) the addictive personality, they merely traded the destructive alcohol or drug addiction for a healthier alternative - but still an addiction. There's no calm, contentment, or peace of mind with any addiction - be it sex, drugs, scratch tickets, excercise, booze, whatever. I ha.ve a golf buddy that is 8 years sober - smokes weed all day, every day - but won't touch a drink. Odd thing is, he goes to an AA meeting almost every day (even when he travels for work and is out of town) - but can't live without a constant flow of THC. -

This is such AA regurgitated crap - you're not always an "alcoholic forever" any more than you have to "yield to a higher power" - the two stupidest things about AA (and why it will be dead as an organization soon) are the "once an alcoholic, forever an alcoholic" and all of the Jesus pseudo Christian crap... all the 12 steps and all that are fine, so is the sponsorship and regular meetings for those who need it, but those other two things aren't universal laws for drinkers. -
I see a Carson Wentz turnaround of Ryan Tannehill proportions about to take place. They are the same player leaving the same situation. Yeah, maybe Wentz doesn't have a Derrick Henry but Jonathan Taylor is no slouch and they have pieces that can play, good tight ends, etc. Don't forget Wentz was probably taking the Eagles to the Super Bowl when Big D*!k Nick took them there just 3 seasons ago.

Chiefs 19m Over Salary Cap in 2021
Billzfan37 replied to JMF2006's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's cool - I'm a Chiefs fan, grew up in southern Missouri and even though I live near Boston, MA now - all of my family back home are rabid Chiefs fans... They are all sympathetic to the Bills plight having been so close but not quite to the promised land for so long themselves. Man, Mahomes is an amazing talent - how he wasn't the #1 overall pick escapes me. -

Zerevolt visiting our board days after the Chiefs game is over reminds me of that guy in a zombie movie that gets bit, but doesn't tell anyone - just kind of has a look on his face like he has to poop. I think he wishes he was a Bills fan, maybe there's something the mafia brings that he's missing in his Chief's fandom and life -
Kelly had his success in an era where defensive players could hit the quarterback. It all ended when Tom Brady came in the league. We all remember those games where a woozy, bloodied QB would roll around in pain - that doesn't happen in today's NFL. Hell, Josh Allen as he was hitting the ground on a late hit was signaling with his right hand (that he didn't even need to use to break his fall) that it was a roughing the passer penalty and more free yards. What the NFL has done protecting these QB's has completely changed the entire game. There's zero fear of even getting touched for most of these guys - they are just playing catch.
