  1. That was NOT mine. Just red. I did bake to get baked in those days but now I don't bake or partake at all.
  2. I had a Betty Crocker cook book in my early 20's and it was indeed red. I can't remember the plaid part however I did smoke a lot of weed during my undergraduate years. I believe I borrowed the recipe for Peach Flambe from that book which I used to make quite often when I owned my own flambe table. A very solid cookbook for beginners.
  3. Really? I have heard of good chicken wings sometimes being available in some Chinese Restaurants up here given they can certainly deep fry in peanut oil at incredible temps. It is a brave new world I guess.
  4. There may be some great food from Mexico but the crap that has been American Adopted is NOT something that I am a fan of.

  10. Well LAMB would be the obvious choice as the Bills bring these LA Lambs to slaughter. However, Los Angeles has a huge culinary scene so as always I am open to suggestions as the Bills go for their 8th consecutive win.
  11. Sometimes to keep it interesting I change up the order or eat and drink while on the toilet for simultaneous triple threat.

  13. It is a little work sourcing the seafood but it is sooooooooo worth it.
  14. Had a lovely lunch of 4 kinds of steamed dim sum dumplings. Time for a nap with RedZone on before tackling the CIOPPINO.
  15. I made fish broth from scratch with a fresh head of King Fish today. Boiled it for a good 8+ hours. Just strained the broth and set aside the fish remains out on the patio to give to the 3 dogs in kennel tomorrow morning. Broth in fridge overnight and I expect to will be a golden jello tomorrow morning unless the live crabs escape and drink it all. I will still add a bottle of clam juice but there was no way I was going to put all that expensive fish in some cheap ass store bought fish broth or worse yet make it from powder.
  16. I have the 4 live Blue Crabs in the fridge in a big glass bowl and every time I open the fridge I see them trying to escape. LOL!!! NO ESCAPING A BILLS BLOW OUT TOMORROW
