How are you preparing them?

A lot of different ways to go here.
NY Style Pizza in the Wood Burning Pizza Oven?
NY Deli Brisket?
Surely we have to have a ton of posters here who frequent the New York area and have their favourite culinary delights from New York.
Ideas?

I will be there, but i usually do not do the "official Bills meet up" ...bars get too crowded for me and everything becomes a giant pain in da ass!
This outfit I think does a decent job of game day tailgates. I have never purchased it, but have seen them everytime I go to an away game and people seem to be having a great. They were next door to the bar I was at in BMORE, and looked like a decent setup

I have never seen that before.
$85 isn't ridiculous however they are going to no doubt provide me with some popular commercial beer after I have been drinking some of the best Craft IPAs in the world in Portland and Seattle so that ain't going to work for me.
On the road, I am more a walk with a 12 pack of high end local Craft beer and a few pounds of local meat until I see a friendly Bills group who say "where you from bro and do you want to borrow our grill?".
I hear you on the busy Saturday night Bills bar and I might give that a pass however I should at least explore that option if it is close to where I am staying.

Flying to Seattle from Toronto on the Tuesday and then taking the train down to Portland for 3 nights before coming back by train to Seattle on the morning of Friday October 25th.
Just wondering if there is Meet Up on the Saturday Night and where my Bills Brethren will he tailgating prior to the game.

I ordered breakfast omelette. It made me red faced like Allen. Think it was food poisoning?
It was NOT the eggs and other ingredients.
It was the Cook/Chef/Coach.
Be thankful you got only red faced as opposed to red rash ass which is what the Bills are giving me these days.

I have said since his second year that Dawkins is a good LT however will NEVER be a great LT because he does not have the off-season discipline to improve his body and his craft.
How many years when training camp begins has there been observations that he is overweight?
His personal covid strategy based on the esteemed medical advice of Dr Beasely resulted in him being in the hospital.
He seems more concerned with growing his BIG off-field personality rather than his game.
Whatever.

I am getting tired of my great game meals being ruined by McCollapsy's incompetence.
I now have an upset stomach and it was NOT the meal.
I would suggest McCollapsy and I switch roles however you just know he would burn the meal and set himself on fire.

I usually can’t eat or drink at all during the games. But You have inspired me! Making ribs, buff chicken dip, and maybe some fried clams (the last for the heck of it). There you go!!!

No doubt this game will be a sizeable challenge and like last week THE key will be whether or Front 7 can stop the run.
It would sure help if the game narrative was us jumping to an early lead rather than the Texans since if they get the lead they can run the ball down our throat.

Buffalo’s Best Stuffed Banana Peppers: Bobby J’s Italian American Grille
Stuffed banana peppers are a Western New York specialty, and Western New Yorkers have voted to say the stuffed banana peppers at Bobby J’s Italian American Grille are extra special.
“It’s really truly an honor,” said Bobby J’s co-owner Bob Desiderio about his restaurant’s Buffalo’s Best win. “I have to thank everyone from all over Western New York who voted for us!”
Those loyal customers keep demand high for the signature stuffed banana peppers.
On a typical Friday or Saturday, Bobby J’s serves up hundreds of them each night....
...They’re made with locally-made ricotta and several imported cheeses, plus bread crumbs, fresh basil, and garlic, cooked up to order in piping hot extra virgin olive oil and served with blistered grape tomatos and crusty Tuscan bread.
The banana pepper itself is grown on a local farm. The Desiderios describe them as “semi-hot”.
“Mother Nature plays games with them once in a while. Sometimes they can be a little bit hotter than other times,” pointed out Bob Desiderio.
“I like spicy food,” Jason Desiderio added. “So I mean once in a while they get pretty hot and when you put the roasted garlic on and the fresh Italian bread, it’s like a match made in heaven.”
The recipe has been handed down through the Desiderio family.....

If I can find a rack of prime rib ribs, I might cook it resting on top of them in a Dutch oven.

For me it’s somewhat of a tradition to get 8 garlic hot from a sports bar, McDivots in a suburb of Tampa. They are as good as any I’ve eaten in Buffalo, growing up. The garlic makes it even better than just hot.
Let’s hope it s a celebratory lunch. I’m fortunate it’s on regular tv tomorrow, but have the ticket just in case.
Enjoy the day guys.
Garlic makes everything taste better.

I was hoping to score some large Beef Ribs however they seem rare here because the butchers are using that bone in the Prime Rib Roasts.
Can get a beef rib rack but pretty expensive given most of the weight is in the bones themselves.
In any event. I have 3 very large skinless turkey breasts marinating since Wednesday in the back of the fridge and today I used a Rain Check on two large Pork Back Ribs that I rubbed Texas Stylee and pushed to the back of the fridge.
Going to throw them on the smoker Sunday Morning along with some Red Hot Peppers and a few Russet Potatoes.
Share the aromas with the neighbours while spending time with my 3 dogs -- Bills jerseys and scarfs on -- in the front yard watching peeps walk by the front sidewalk while blaring tunes.
Any side dish ideas?
What are you cooking?

Thanks for the breakdown.
OL is the hardest position to make the transition from college to pro, outside of QB. Just speculating, but I just don't think Torrence was mentally ready for 17 games+playoffs, and now he's not confident. He's a country kid from a college program that is waaaaay in the wilderness compared to their glory years. Must have been quite the shock to go pro, and he's not outspoken / cocky at all. As much as Brown has his own issues, he's a physical specimen and is not afraid to speak his mind.
Yet I thought Torrence had a very good rookie season.
He should have had all the confidence in the world heading into his second NFL season.

He simply isn't a difference maker anymore.
Oh well.

in the past i used to do lengthy in depth posts with gifs.. don't have time for that nowadays. I also did not count the Mitch TurdBiscuit reps.
I watched every passing snap to evaluate pass blocking performance as well as Josh Allen unforced errors committed (PASS BLOCKING ONLY EVALUATED.. did not evaluate running plays).
UNFORCED ERROR = Allen has time to throw, wr is open and he misses throw.. or.. Allen makes poor unforced decision
OLINEMAN BEATEN = O lineman clearly loses his one on one matchup... or.. clearly misreads stunt/combo block
____
OLINEMAN BEATEN STATS
DAWKINS - 0
EDWARDS - 2
MCGOVERN - 1
ANDERSON - 1
TORRENCE - 3
BROWN - 2
DAVIS - 1
-DAWKINS - The only clean performance. Had a few dominant reps.
- EDWARDS - Was beaten twice. Both times DE got around his left side.
- MCGOVERN - Was injured briefly but stepped up and came back in. He was cleanly beaten on one play.. but other than that held up reasonably well.
- ANDERSON - Came in at C for a few reps .. had a bad shotgun snap that I am counting as a bad rep.
- TORRENCE - His PFF low grade seems justified. Torrence led the OL in bad reps with 3. He was cleanly beaten one on one several times.. and also had a few reps where he looked lost and was trying to find someone to block. He started out strong last year but his pass protect quality has slipped and he is close to becoming a liability in pass pro.
- BROWN - Brown has certainly improved from last year.. .but he was beaten one on one on a couple of nifty moves by the D end. Good news is he seems to have fixed the issue he had last few years where DE's would blow right by him on the outside with speed. For both moves that beat him yesterday you have to tip your hat to the DE.
- DAVIS - imn q4 Davis was in for pass pro in the shotgun but he lined up way too close to line of scrimmage. When ball was snapped he couldn't get out to block the LDE in time and Allen was flushed immediately.
OL SUMMARY : This was a rough game for the O Line. Baltimore did a few twist stunts.. but mostly they just beat the Bills O linemen with technique one on one. Josh' scrambling ability saved 3 or 4 sacks. The Guards ( Edwards and particularly Torrence) really struggled in one on one on several reps .. and it seemed like there was a bit of confusion on picking up stunts.
QB UNFORCED ERRORS: Josh had 3 unforced errors by my count where he had time but made bad decisions. For example .. in q3 he had a clean pocket to step into but he bailed right too early. This seems to be a pattern for Josh ( understandably so). If the o line is shaky early.. Josh gets a little antsy later in the game and bails from the pocket occaisonally when he doesn't need to. It seemed like even when Josh did have time .. .the receivers rarely had any separation ( Kincaid being the exception). Based on my history of doing this kind of analysis when a qb has 5 or more unforced errors the chances of his team winning decrease materially. In this case.. Josh actually played a pretty clean game with 3 unforced errors.
Any theory as to what is happening with Torrence this year?
I was excited when we drafted him reasonably early.
I was impressed with his play last year as a rookie.
However, he certainly has taken a step back this year when he should be improving after a year of NFL diet, weight room, video watching and coaching.
