  1. Eagles are this good imho. both ol & dl are disgustigly big and talented. hurts causes enough probs and aj brown/d. smith are the nfc's version of higgins/chase. theyre going to snuff out kc hard were good. really just takes plugging few holes on OL and josh can carry the team. we'll be fine, especially with a new DC if it happens
  2. rewatch it. watch mahomes throw his arms up and dead leg lol id be more on board with it if mahomes didnt flop
  3. i get the logic. brr-hoe missed a half season his rookie year too. maybe that changes the timeline a lil bit
  4. He should get some Kenny P "fake slide" treatment for exactly this stunt. Swallow your whistles the next few times it happens, let him know its a scummy move.
  5. u cant give the refs an opportunity (especially that penalty on golden boy) to escort KC into the super bowl. theyre going to take that bait 100% of the time. Patty flopped like Lebron
  6. We undoubtedbly picked him, in the 3rd, being certain he would redshirt. Not going to argue this point, right/wrong, they 100% must have loved something about him. My guess is smarts/speed. A guy to eventually help us against premier TE matchups, and blitzing. Would be really cool to have a speedy 4-3 LB, who can lineup behind Miller and play at a pre injury Merriman type role.
  7. After the last 5 days, if it were up to me all four teams would get eliminated tmrw 😆 Go Sabres?
  8. God i hope he avoided the game, not kidding
  9. thank you for bringing TBD together in a way ive never seen. theres about 60 ppl who disagree. i stopped after 3 sentences. YOU regressed
  10. So stop sinking all resources into the D, build the OL & WR room? Can we pin this because this is the only conceivable place you can find this unique topic, clearly deserving of its own thread
  11. This is stupid and things bad teams do. He was drafted high, knowing he would redshirt. Let him get a NFL weightroom offseason in. We drafted him knowing he wasnt big enough. Clearly he was above and beyond on an athletic and cerebral level. We didnt draft an undersized, dumb, unathletic guy lol ridiculous
  12. Coming off acl surgery is how u want to judge the guy, knowing whats been apparent in the league about this injury. You want to then move a top NCB in the league to a new position, and move a top cb in the league to a new position, where who fills in outside? Dane jackson? This is brilliant, wake up Beane!!
  13. Pretty low bar for "scumbag". Dudes a talent on a team that has had no passing game and made 0 attempt to get him targets. Why draft him if you arent going to find ways to get him the ball. Hes a talent that at the very least should be getting 3 or 4 bubble screens a game.
  14. Ive been a McD supporter, but starting to seriously worry. We need top coordinators. If Payton and Fangio are a team deal, im making that move. Sure you need to revamp the D with Fangio, but better than trying to bring in a different guy with same scheme. Might take 2years to draft the right guys, but you've got an offensive mind that maximizes the talent we have now. IDK, i certainly im listening to having that convo
  15. Carr makes $35m, Dak is what $40'ish. Makes no sense to make a move for the heck of it if you're Dallas. Save $5m to bring a guy in a new system, that would likely want a new deal next year even.
  16. Ive seen this assumed many times in this thread. 8 sacks isnt exactly sexy, but i dont think it is anything to base analysis of a #30 overall pick on either. hes improved 2 years in a row and has been disruptive. fully expect him to continue developing, and see his potential as (hopefully) other pieces around him take shape
  17. if i had the pick over obviously id do it differently. that said he was drafted knowing year 1 would be a redshirt. i cant say i know what the vision is, but it was at a position we def werent reaching for. there must have been SOMETHING that stuck out about him. hoping he took/takes advantage of that redshirt year, and we get to see exactly what they saw. supposedly a smart player, and he looked explosive blitzing. 100% not defending the pick at all, but there IS a plan (could be an awful one?). wish we had a do over, next best thing is his red shirt gave us a tool of sorts
  18. its cheaper (and more predictable/consistent) to try and increase scoring by 5ppg, then reduce opponents scoring 5ppg at this point we roll with what we have mostly, develop whatever is around. our resources need to be sunk into the offense almost completely.
  19. Why is Moore a scumbag? Cause he wanted to be traded, or i miss something else?
  20. I believe ed plays 3 tech, too small for a 1
  21. I dont care if it leaves a whole, an expensive, undersized, inconsistent, role player. He provides nothing to the team, and our D already sucks. With nfl rules in 2023, any defense is a diminished return unless they are elite. Could you imagine what $11m invested at RT or G would add to this team. Buh bye
  22. all the more reason to hit the well more than 3xs in 5 freaking years
  23. Captain Hindsight over here. A. How were we supposed to know he'd be avail B. Draft is a crap shoot, nobody is a sure deal, especially not a WR going in the middle of draft C. We couldve ended up with a defensive player again, especially if he was gone D. If anybody knew what we know now, he wouldve been drafted top 3, how is anyteam going to be that far ahead scouting players than anyone else. Ridiculous take, Diggs has been $$ and a great voice in locker room. I still dont even disagree with his fire from yesterday, its a non issue
  24. no salary cap on staff. that needs to be the attitude going into the offseason. can only do so much on fa/draft
