  1. no i know that. this guys saying beane only did this to "make up for letting hodgins go". clearly they are very similar players /s
  2. you avoided the question. how does hodgins compare to harty?
  3. Didnt need to read this far to know youre clueless, but it certainly reinforced it lol please tell me one thing these two have in common other than position ill anxiously await your breath taking knowledge lol
  4. seems like complimentary pieces. shakir is quick (not fast), and a strong runner, mini deebo was the comp. this guy is blazing speed and elusive, HR hitter. possession vs big play ability. excited to see how dorsey uses them
  5. i cant comprehend why anyone thinks mck is staying after this year? weve seen his ceiling, hes at it. his hands suck, he has no feel for finding soft spots in the defense, we think this guy could break out. are we supposed to never sign a fast slot again because lil dirty didnt pan out?
  6. everyone cries we dont invest on offense, our slot sucks etc etc.... we go get a young up and comer 4.3 guy, cost a million to upgrade over mck (whos gone), and people want to cry about defense now lol this place sucks sometimes
  7. see he made pro bowl as a returner, have to assume thats as punt returner? think he starts? (cant remember if hines was just KR or PR too?)
  8. this sounds like a worst case scenario, but theyd start him before they cut him
  9. def a possibility. doing a solid for his boy
  10. just curious for the more cap knowledgeable posters, it saves $5.4m, but how much was the check TP cut today then?
  11. sure... but preferably theyd be a good player
  12. i fully expect a few more mcgovern type signings, hopefully move ed for a pick, then draft bpa for need as best as possible. the only sexy trade i can envision is for a wr, i think chances are low though
  13. At this point, hes fromunda cheese... he doesnt pair well with anything. Dude could join Foo Fighters and hate Dave Grohl before they played Everlong
  14. You've talked me into DHop over Jeudy in this thread. Same boat here to, if we swing Jeudy ill be stoked, he was my fav receiver in his class, he's younger.... however, DHop is plug n play superstar, no development needed, no hands issues (this board was ready to cut Zay after 4 games with drops), healthier, and more mature as a player. Im sure his priorities are (within reason) winning, then money. Seems like he'd mesh better with Diggs
  15. this guys a moron. he has broke a few things that seem hard to guess, but for every 1 of those, are 6 nonsensical "Lebron to Coach Serena Williams at her final PGA Tour Championships in Kenmore, NY"
  16. i actually align pretty damn strong with rodgers on... well anything on a personal level, he was right about all the pearl clutching over the flu, DMT spiritual awakening trip in S.America, sign me up. i love his appearances on PMcafee and PMT, funny as hell. but man i gotta say he really looks like a dbag over this whole thing. stringing people around, moving goalposts with i want lazard and cobb and lewis (those last two stillllllll playyyyy? 😨 was there even iphones when they were rookies). dudes lost the team before a snap, hes going to have to win them back over again. fun guy to party, shoot the breeze with, would make a nightmare of a coworker (imo)
  17. Dudes picking FA the way the guy in your fantasy league who doesnt watch, makes his picks lol someone tell him Gurley is a FA!!!!
  18. is this just personal goals, or has there been any link?
  19. i thought the whole agreement is in place short of arod signing off on it
  20. this was a compliment? lol
  21. I havent seen any of that, but would love to. twitter rumblings im guessing? dude hasnt even shown up yet and has already overstayed his welcome LOL
  22. maybe not either of those, but it definitely strays the from the path of a proper rebuild. itd be like if beane did what he did, then instead of taking a swing on josh, had tried to sign rivers. theyre taking a dumb on their own butterfly effect lol
  23. the Jets are now pot committed to this lol they chose to wait it out through wave 1 of qb FA's, its starting to look murky, but they cant back out now. do they withdraw from the rodgers sweepstakes to sign....... who? heinecke? baker? i dont see this move working out for them either way, and by far the funnier outcome is rodgers saying nah, jk lol even if he does agree, its a bad look that he's hesitated this much. will remind me of watson clearly not wanting to go to CLE, but not having many options at the $$ amount he wanted if a girl waited a week to answer you on if shed let you take her out, how interested could she possibly be. this is hilarious
  24. id be on board with that. most criticism i see of MG is directed at his inbility to block. which sucks for sure, hines ward is the greatest blocking wr ive ever seen and he spent plenty of time in the slot, but how many slot WRs absolutely require blocking. ask him to catch a high volume of balls and keep the chain moving. i like shakir, but much in the way i dont want to gamble a season on Spencer elevating his play, we cant afford to gamble that shakir is going to be that guy either
  25. i think the WR position is worth the $$. weve seen the compensation for players at that position explode, and theres a reason. heck id still prefer we double dip at the position and still draft one high. w/ the way we see rookies hit the ground running, and the cost of a 2nd contract, and our teams dependency on passing game, i dont see an excuse to not a WR top 3 rounds for forseeable future. now if we hit big on a few we can alter that year by year, but that pipeline needs to stay refreshed. might even end up with a log jam of wr's putting up good #s with josh, and have some tasty trade bait down the line if were saturated at wr
