AP: Jon Gruden loses bid for reconsideration in NFL lawsuit
BillsShredder83 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not at all directed at you... but this reads like a job description of 'NFL coach' lol While I don't think it's necessary as a coach.... I think the personality traits required of a coach, make that type of behavior 100% commonplace. Can anyone think of any coach/executive where if they were fired, and "great in front of cameras... bull headed control freak behind the scenes" was said, it would surprise you? McD - certainly not Beane- upper echelon of "cool" for an executive. But hearing someone say that about him far from shocking? Pete Carrol? It woulda been mildly surprising to hear 4 years ago, but not now Tomlinson- same. Cool af, but still a coach. Non players coach Beli- plenty of stories like this already Parcells- well, you get the idea lol -
AP: Jon Gruden loses bid for reconsideration in NFL lawsuit

Roger&NFL scummy behavior > Grudens douche'ness Would wager they pulled out all the stops shutting this down. Imagine the juicy **** that would've came out. There'd be a million things uglier than the things he said, things they climbed over, in order to fire JG. If his chances of appeal are done, some of it will leak out, but not all of it... and they get to spin it as sour grapes ex employee speech -
Von Miller ready to prove the critics wrong

Besides last year coming off a major injury, when has he not backed it up? When he was like 8? Dudes worst stretches of pro career, are above average, and we're talking 1 season twice.... coming off injury. So 11 good years, 2 bad, in 13years. Pro. Nasty college. Probably absolutely filthy in HS. Clown take. If you don't like him, just say that lol -
the bigger picture here with Carr over Rodgers, is they couldve signed the perfect high end bridge type QB to try and win now, while keeping their picks and not imploding their own salary cap. that wouldve bought them time, and left them resources to find a future starter. they couldve been patient and made sure they werent drafting a guy just to do it, unless he was a perfect fit. its insane, 2 years ago they were sitting REAL pretty
-
im sure they do, just no way and no upside to doing it. its going to cost them their jobs, as it should. what kind of season would it take for them to spare themselves? trying not to laugh typing this, but AFCC appearance MIGHT do it. crazy to consider looking back to all those awesome moves they made, what 2 years ago to land all those picks and have a great class with it. they wont be able to pay all those guys, and even if they could, how many are going to want out of that dumpster fire

whole thing has a tinge of predatory institutions circling an easy target (football player, not businessman, with large $$ to invest), to pick the meat off the bones. attorneys were on the take somehow. he probably got a better rate by backing the business with personal assets, and got convinced that was a great idea

Dude should do some advertising for the blue pill. Pushing a Jello Jiggler into a keyhole sounds like tough work -
not only giving this guy access, but access to an entity the Bills team do not need AT ALL. If some dork at buffalo news wipes a booger on mcd's desk, its still the Buffalo News, in Buffalo. you could shut the writer out, but you cant shut them out completely. why are you not only giving this guy an interview, but youre helping this guy peddle an exclusive site/article they cant get anywhere else. im not big on burning bridges, but this bridge, river, boat, and any fish in it should be napalmed.

My question is, where are people allowed to meet now? I'm not talking about passed out unconscious, that's obv heinous. Good faith question though here.... dating or trying to date in the workplace is a huge no no now. Approaching women in public is pretty frowned upon from the "just let them be" crowd. The one constant all through modern time has been, has been everyone get dressed up, hit the watering holes, have some drinks. It's THE place for singles to meet. Two singles meet and have chemistry. They're not both allowed to enter into, the things humans do, willingly? Are they allowed to kiss? What if it's 4 drinks in 3 hours and both are willing? If the guys willing, but the girl is the one pushing for them to "leave". Should she not have the right to decide that for herself? Whether it's out of being promiscuous or out of a legit attraction? Who's to decide? The whole things so convoluted. Seems like the only safe place to try and date for young kids is on the dating apps... which certainly carry their own problems. I'm glad to be married and done with figuring any of that out. To the poster I quoted, this is great advice to your sons or any single men. It's just a shame that they have to keep their guard up around the 99%, because of the bad actors 1%. Also to be clear, I'm not saying it's only tricky for men. I fully understand women also have to keep their guards up at all times because of a nasty 1%. That 1% of males/females have an evil way of camouflaging in with the 99 -

i sincerely dont believe its vegas you g2 worry about.... its NBA offices calling for game 7's, close games, big market teams to get the help, teams w/ superstars being pushed through i know its a slight difference but its a "less" ugly scenario -
Joe Brady's offensive concepts with LSU / Panthers
BillsShredder83 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really can't speak to the specifics but I live near Charlotte and watched that whole season. He was ABSOLUTELY the scape goat for Rhule! He had some bare cupboards. Bridgewater, robbie Anderson/chosen had a 1k yard season. I remember being like where tf did this dude learn to ball out, cause he was awful in NJ. He went immediately back to scrub status. Dj Moore was another guy who's game elevated under him. Mccaffrey was out almost that entire year, so can't credit it to him. Curtis samuel also flirted with 1k yards if I remember right! All this with teddy b, an awful OL, and a previous draft class that was 100% dedicated to defense. Literally! No offensive picks. I'm excited to see what he can do with a full off season and our cupboard -
dudes a goofball, doesnt mean hes dumb. we have/had several goofie characters have AMAZING careers here. he doesnt strike me as a dumb person, but even if he did, ppl who arent smart enough to study film/the game, dont have amazing careers. josh is goofy. tre white. dawkins is def a silly sally. incognito was dumb by society standards, stuck in nfl a long time, solid career. marshawn is a buffoon, he may have skated on pure ability and God crafted genetics, but i doubt it either way, if dude can help bring a ring here thatd be dopeeee
-
this is the surface level type crap argument they'll give. just a "little" privacy or freedom in exchange for your freedom! theyre nickle and diming your freedom to death. its amazing ppl cant see or feel the walls closing in. we've basically launched SkyNet against American citizens. i cant wait till i get my state issued CBDC card so i can have meat 2x's a month! hopefully we'll be safe from terrorism then!!!

LOL if the nfl is going to the government for something, im 99% sure theres something more grimey hiding behind the face of 'trying to keep the game fair.' i could be totally wrong here, but its like a wife whos cheated 10xs, then wants to go visit her gramma, and the husband has a million questions. even though this time everything is on the up and up, its her fault for creating the distrust. the nfl is the wretched harlot in this analogy 🤣

my bad, im thinking 2021 lol was the year the Colts beat us senseless on Thanksgiving (they ended up barely missing playoffs and there was a lot of relief around here) none of those teams were phenomenal. but thats the key, they were heavily flawed teams that ran the ball extremely well. you looked at their qb's and wr's and knew those guys werent going to kill you, but their run games were the type of 7th seed that could knock someone out. their run game was a MISMATCH for the new types of LB'ers S's and even a lot of these pass rush specialist IDL. a wrench in the cog of teams built to beat all the other top teams built the polar opposite. so yes, i absolutely look forward to this team taking a Minors Degree in smashmouth run game. another tool in the bag

Yep. Not saying nobody else did call it, but I said it last year pre draft. RB's and run game are coming back around as more relevant. 5 years of these smaller LBers being asked to cover routes more than ever, and playing in the run game was just a bonus to teams (sounds backwards for a LB). Outta that we saw teams in 2022 (edit: not 2022, but 2021*) like colts, browns, tenn, ne, all bringing a tough running game out. Those teams had conceded they don't have top notch qb play, we g2 change up our attack at what we CAN do, that other teams DONT do well. First round comes around and save for NE, those were all the teams that nobody wanted to draw round 1. They didn't fit the mould and it made them a dangerous 1st rd draw. Fast forward few more years of the light LBer and S era, we've built a solid pass block team with some nasties up front that specialize in run game. Everything in this league is in cycles and I think we're in great shape. Josh is Josh and he's got weapons set to improve, but giving him a nice run game (no we're not run first 🙄) is going to pay dividends!

I'm a die hard bills fan, but consider myself a football fan first. Love the game, even if we left buffalo, after much inner turmoil I'd keep watching nfl So on that front yes, absolutely. He's played a heel well. Loved watching him play in NFC, let his hair down. He's even kinda funny. And while I'm at it... belichek was ELECTRIC on pat McAfee draft extravaganza. Hope both these guys become in game commentators, that'd be amazing for the sport. Romo was, welllllll Romo during hid playing days, and his early commentating career was an absolute game changer.... now imagine what Brady and Beli can bring. I'm here for it!!!

Also, #83 unassigned pending Andre rejoining the WR room. He has a wrong to right on that Mia wild card TD bumping the ref play lol that shizz ruined childhood me for good, cause I rep'd Andre harddddd as a kid. Everyone was mad at MEEE so yes, hof'er #83 lacing em back up as our wr1

Fact vs Fiction: "Keon Coleman is not a separator"
BillsShredder83 replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
if thats true were in great shape with him. that 2020 year josh really ate with jon brown and co at the intermediate stuff. kincaid was also stuck with a veryyyyyyyy short depth of target under Dorsey. obv that started to change and fully expect him to be given keys to kingdom this year. gabe was just kinda whatever out there, felt like we were playing 10 v 11
