  1. Keep me updated^^ How do you pick your bets? Just know college that well? Or know how to look for sharp signals? I gotta few things I do but really I just hit 12mth mark betting so I'm a total newb
  2. Yeah sanders hype will never be higher than after this week. I don't have their schedule but there's likely a good value bet against them down the road because of hype. It'll be like Colorado -2.5 vs Georgia 🤣🤣🤣 I tailed you on a few. I don't really know college ball well. Back in WNY it's nothing but Bills/nfl I moved down to NC. College is king down here, I never understood the college hype, but I get it now lol crazy games
  3. That's it? You have him missing the 2nd half or something? 🤣🤣
  4. Any Canadian friends happen to know if game will be on in St. Catherines? A fellow Snow-Mexican of mine is wanting to hold of on buying DAZN for a week or two if avoidable?
  5. Dangit. I tried trailing the Kansas pick with an over parlay and my homie in NY didnt get it on time. You like Colorado at -2.5 if played straight up? I get just going $line if using a parlay
  6. Johnny MOLLY-ziel lol
  7. Doesn't work hard compared to who? Me? Sure. Other OL? No f'n way. There's proli 3 tackles on Buffalo that are hungrier to push their play than him. Twist it anywsy you want. This is not the work of an OL trying to take the next step. I don't care if he was #1 in the league, let alone middle of the pack.... U think Trent Williams, bakhtiari, lane j, tonsil etc etc etc are crash dieting when they should be getting their strength up? They aren't Strength is pretty scientific. If you aren't eating right (and especially if you're in a giant deficit) you're getting weaker... in a league on the razors edge of top performance. Nutrition + proper weights = strength Take one or both of those out and it doesn't balance out. There's no room for opinion on this, you're anabolic or catabolic. Spend 4months catabolic and in a nitrogen deficit, you're going to be weaker. (Not to mention the opportunity lost of running 4mos anabolic, its a 2pt swing here) Cardio and strength are the pillars of OL play, and both spent a third of the year in the dumpster. Polar opposite of taking the next step. Find me a strength coach/powerlifter who goes catabolic for 4mos and I'll show you someone at the bottom of his sport. ------------------------------------------------------------ Theres are the numbers Dion needs to be at: Based on his own admission of 600-800cals, 2x's per day..... he's eating at 62% calorie deficit for 4months LOL Muscle tissue is being dissolved like Arnold lowered into the steam mill at the end of Terminator2 That's infuriating. I can't imagine how angry the staff was.
  8. I'm fine with whatever as long as we pick up on and use it too. If their OL is doing it, and were being choir Boys that's a major problem. We let the chiefs 2ndary rip our WRs around in AFCCG. and responded with our DBs playing within the normal rules, and got cooked. That 100% was on the coaching staff, go play within the rules that specific ref crew has laid out. Pitchers do this non stop
  9. He plays a mental position, and handles it very well. He's always healthy and he's still doing freak s*** that nobody else on the planet can do. Josh needing to lose 5-8lbs and Dion crash dieting 40 aren't in the same planet If he's freak athlete enough to do this to just maintain his play. Imagine putting this effort towards improving play. This is indefensible Dude could've made a huge leap, but decided to, at best, tread water with his play
  10. This story is the equivalent of saying, hey for 2mos all I did was cocaine and alcohol, but TC rolled around and I'm 4months sober, LOOK AT MY COMMITMENT!!! Don't hold for applause long, it ain't coming
  11. 0.00% chance staff said, "Hey get fat as **** for 2 months, so instead of focusing on getting stronger, you can live in a deficit and hope to play exactly the same as last year (at best). Staff was NOT happy about what they saw, delusional to think otherwise
  12. Again, usually half full kinda guy, but GD! I can't jump up and down and praise his commitment if he gained 40lbs in 2mos! That's absurd. Dudes having to crash diet to hit his calorie mark for 4-5months? 1200-1800 calories in salad? You know what other lineman are doing? Staying within a healthy range and then those 4-5mos they can weight train like an animal and FEED THEIR BODY. This dude did his strength no favors. On paper he's likely weaker. Can't gain strength in a huge deficit like that. Everyone else got stronger, while his weight rollercoastered, and he gained no strength or lost it at best. Kinda infuriating to admit. Smfh And he doesn't. Openly admitting for the 2nd time that basically he's cool with staying around where he's at.... cause a player who wanted to get better, ISNT doing this. Draft LT next year. Free up some $$ and let him hit FA before his body dumps on him. Article is damning
  13. I slightly lean towards glass half full, but Dion has great PR Skills, and doesn't pass eyeball test. If he plays great, I'd be ecstatic, but he's not someone I'm giving the full benefit of doubt too, unfortunately. None of this is me taking a shot at him, love the dude, but he admitted to coasting year 2 after the fact. He writes awesome pieces for players union, I think his dorky personality is cool in a macho environment... but I wanna see him not look like a balloon, and well conditioned before I even read this 🤷‍♂️
  14. Did you end up trying that?
  15. Honestly tonight was a win win for me. I spent 95% of the night rooting against my own bet 😅
  16. Nate's First Two of The Year: Chiefs -4.5 2units Chiefs -4.5 + Montgomery Anytime TD 1unit Side note: Since this thread is Off The Wall, im trying the "follow thread" in top right corner.... if anybody else is forgetful like me you should try it too. I wanna keep this thread rolling this year!!
  17. Cant imagine what happened, he's such a spark plug of happy go lucky. Ego says hes hung like a flea too Bill's got the herppppp. Bill Mexico
  18. Lolzzzzzzz you've got to be kidding! You saw enough of his play at Oregon to know? 😆😆😆🤡🤡🤡🤡
  19. I just don't think there's anyway to know that without us seeing practice. The record on this staff of giving a position to a young guy because of the benefit of the doubt is non existent. Maybe it did here, but track record says it didn't, and a 3rd rder in year 2 is a weird place to start. Only way I see it is if staff has made a fundamental change to that approach, which is welcomed by many. IF we did do that, we can't complain the young guys never see the field, and complain that a young guy got the nod to start. Again, that's a big if
  20. You have a press- man coverage specialist and a gauntlet of Tyreek, Waddle, Chase, Higgins, Kelce, Garrett Wilson. Our fastest player on defense. At worst hes great depth and a situational chess piece FOR THIS SEASON.... without accounting for the upside of a talented/smart #1 pick down the road. Insanely short sighted take if we were a 9-8 team, made even more ridiculous in a SB expectation season. What does a 2024 2nd rd'er do for our SB push? The only tape we've seen on the guy is as a rookie, and he played well down the stretch. Absolutely asinine to concede a loss after an above average rookie season. i really dont understand this board sometimes
  21. people too hung up on the 90s linebacker type. THIS LEAGUE IS NOTHING like that. highly athletic, instinctive, leader, finally a MLB with blitzing abilities, but the biggest thing is coverage. if he can play well in coverage, this scheme is willing to overlook him occasionally getting lost inside. his floor is higher than Dodson, his ceiling infinitely higher. Dodson is a dumb player, insane to give him a green dot. at the very least we needed to get bernard out there and see if he has the potential. much better fit for an aggressive defense in that he can blitz, and have less clean blockers to shake making tackles in run game. i cant think of a prospect ive wanted to shut this fan base up more than him. worst case scenario it doesnt work out and Kirksey plays once hes up to speed
  22. Oliver, all dayyyyyy. Time to permanently turn the light on. Weak ass OL. No better way to wreck a game plan then pressure up the middle. If he plays with his hair on fire like i expect, the whole rest of the defense will feast
  23. Rodgers lifts "heady" books. Josh lifts skirts. I know which I want in a gladiator sport
  24. Even if McD has been half or more complicit in the soft defense, I'd like to think he's really learned enough to start taking a loss on his shield "throwing punches". As opposed to sitting back in the pocket losing rounds 10-9 in hopes of not getting knocked out. Were a top scoring offense, make teams try to go score for score with us until they make a mistake. Other offenses can't score like we can. Worst thing we can do is allow for long scoring drives, lessening total possessions each team has per game. If each team is having 14+ possessions per game (current avg is 12), I like our odds of outscoring them at worst case scenario. At best case scenario, our increased pressure leads to other teams having to outscore us, WHILE having a net negative in turnovers.
  25. New system, line, plays, team. Bust out your best blitz packages, see if its rattling him or if it looks like were playing into his hand... be ready to switch to simulated blitzes... but whats needed is to bring pressure with 4, the only gameplan that works 100% of the time, that line sucks, no excuse to not have a great day for that DL. SHOW ME THE FN BABY!
