Bruh 🤣🤣🤣 Side note, theres "ok city bombing: one day in America" on Hulu. I was too young to understand it, and by the trial it felt like old news to my brain. I couldn't fathom why people still talked about it. Im a huge documentary guy. This one is absolutely in my top 3 - Ken Burns Vietnam miles in front of everyone

Keeps this job... for how long? You meaning season, or open to possibility of longer? I wont claim 2 know chitt about kickers, but what's the age where they start to fall off a cliff? Personally, I really liked taking a swing at one in the draft in 2021 or whenever it was. I might get flamed but it's an excellent use of resources in principal, IMO. What other position can you take someone as the first at his position, in the 6th round? As much as we all hate it, kickers have a huge effect on games, good or bad. Signing a good one is expensive. So yeah, when a good one comes out again, I'm down to take a late pick swing again. Bass almost was a grand slam really. Looked that way through 2 years, but some yips kicked in, and injuries piling up. It sucks, but if you hit on one, you can have the steadiest stream of points you can get outta a player for 12-15 years. Fun experiment: you have a cosmic chance to trade for a young Justin Tucker, with the power of foresight. And add him to the team right now, rookie salary. You'll know exactly how his career plays out (hes not a sax pervert in this world). Whats the max draft compensation you'd give up to have him starting week 1 for us? Id give up a 2nd ('26), 3rd ('27), and a 4th('28). Probably even do the 3rd + 4th all in '27. How bout yall?

Ive watched maybe 6 matches my entire life she wasn't involved in, watched her a few other times, but saw this entire tourney of hers. DAMN THAT WAS A FUN RIDE! It certainly seemed like if she got over that hump yesterday, she would've had an easier match in finals... that feels familiar as a Bills fan. Anyways she played her a** off yesterday and absolutely had her best showing. That chick was a beasttttt. 116mph serves? Good Lord, and the spin on em? Reminded me of a nasty breaking ball pitcher if they had double the length to home plate, for the break to continue breaking! Wish they'd use that ground level camera more. I only saw it once yesterday and thought to myself I might have a better chance fouling off Paul Skenes, than I would getting a touching the racket on any one of those serves. Lastly... respectfully.... WOULD. Shes an absolute doll, but her sporty with a tinge of 'drink a beer with the guys' attitude is just mmmmmmmm. Hope to see her win one!!

I don't disagree and im kicking it around. Just wanted to point out a super low hanging fruit that were missing on. Maybe coach does it already and we don't know, very possible... but he/we would benefit from a mentor at the minimum, and an in-house consultant to help coach, coach. I truly feel the delegating thing is a weakness, and an old time coach would be ideal for this. Has the game passed by old guys like Parcells or Cowher? Likely... but we're not asking for playbook help. Managing a manager, is a force multiplier. Something i wish we were seeing/hearing from the FO

@DrDawkinstein what do you think of a less drastic, middle of the road compromise here. I think we can all agree if nothing changes, we need to jump ship before its too late. At the same time barring some crazy talented Coach shaking loose, its a Texas size gamble to hand over the reigns to a brand new unproven HC. I feel like we're too 'pot committed', to use a poker term, to fold the hand right now and start over. What about bringing in some type of advisory role, similar to what Bill Parcells has done for teams. I'm not being specific to him, but dang theres g2 be a coach out there with an itch to feel involved, and/or exhausted with seeing elite playoff games from Allen, get flushed down the toilet. I have a feeling McD is not good at delegating jobs/roles downwards... and isnt doing a sufficient job teaching his Coordinators & Room Coaches, how to prepare. Thats a force multiplier. Maybe a coach who doesn't know how to do that, isn't worthy of a top coaching role period, I dunno. Is he juggling too many pots out of necessity? Or is it obsessive compulsive and he can't help himself. There's not enough hours in the week or weeks in the season to handle that load. Burnout is real, and its anti efficient. Im surprised we haven't heard about McD going out and doing this on his own, even looking for mentorship at the higher coaching skills. Is Andy Reid too competitive to give the guy a hand? Who could fill that role well for Sean?

I dont even necessarily disagree with the sentiment of this post, but the first bolded is just factually wrong. Dude is aggressive , unfortunately results havent matched philosophy. Second bolded I couldn't disagree more on. I think it was brilliant, regardless of how it had turned out. Sometimes you need a polarizing moment: A. He absolutely flops on his face attempting it... 1a. Dude crumbles to pieces going forward, we know what we have to do in offseason 2a. Dude takes the faith given in him, and uses it as a crutch to overcome the yips for good. Fixed! B. He makes it. Remembers why he got that contract from us, proceeds to ball out. He went route B... but even if he'd want 1a/1b, we could make a fair assessment. Also, McD would've absolutely dived into the dung pile after that game to protect the player, had it worked that way. I think that's one of the stronger traits of his tenure here, and it reflects in how we hear player leadership talk/act after games too.

Serious question. Do you have any writers in particular you're referencing. I totally believe you but feel like I havent seen anything about it. Maybe I have and just skimmed over it thinking - thats the usual late summer coach speak. I'd like to see what you or anyone else has seen indicating this? Very possible I was distracted over summer and just missed it too

Damn... dude signed 1yr/$5M deal ONE WEEK AGO EXACTLY... he has obv been kicking around doing this already. But sounds like he got to camp, looked around, saw a mess in the Raiders and said nahhhhhhh. Im a Beane maxi, but this feels a little incriminating on that trade last year. Maybe thats just the way a trade USUALLY works..... anybody think Beane had a chance to speak with Coop before signing off on that deal? Or is thjat usually a no-go? Aside from sign-n-trade kinda deals, needing the OK from current team. Will teams usually OK a chance for a GM to talk to a prospective player? Or is that generally a no-go?

There is literal technology in the works to try and scan and estimate the people in front of your TV to pick movie rental prices and ppvs. Airlines just initiated "dynamic pricing". You know when you click "accept cookies"? If you've been shopping for hotels in Tampa Bay. Looking at fun things to do in Tampa, and then go to buy a flight there... guess what happens? Rental cars too. Supermarkets are already doing this too. Not charging a fair price based on their cost and expenses, but trying to estimate where you live, how much you make, how much you buy of X, and push you each one of us to our limits. These are the people I'm supposed to shed a tear about? Nah. Theyre the ones cranking the heat - cherry red - on a pressure cooker theyre standing directly next to. They'll get what's coming to them soon enough. The only people ill feel bad for are the victims, of corporate & political greed. Pirates streams are rated G compared to the Boston Tea Party... which wasn't just 'chop open and dumb some leaves'. Boston tea party had people covered in molten tar, then feathered, during an era with 1700's medicine. I won't be funding the bunkers and security theyre going to need when civilization does, the things its always done, no matter the time or geography. Some can tolerate more than others, but if you look around our society, its pretty evident, society is redlining hard. Hell, the damn Grateful Dead was on PPV just last month 🤯🤯🤯🤯 I WILL PIRATE THINGS I DONT HAVE ANY DESIRE TO WATCH!!! Im dragging an extra TV into my living room to firestick with, for every conscientious objecter I come across in here 🤣🤣 If it means im streaming scantily dressed Tom Brady canning tomatoes on PPV, then so be it. Won't even be my 2nd weirdest nut of the month, and today is the 3rd -

Even if it was these greedy ****s can e** my ***. Everything in this country is a scam. Health insurance is worthless for 90%+ of the country. Pay $300-600 a month for the right to pay your first $xx,xxx towards a deductible lol Banks lending out 10xs what they have in reserves (ones we give them, and even pay service fees to provide), which then get lent out at usury level rates, with next to zero going towards principal. Meanwhile that money they use to loan out 10x on our money, they pay less than inflation on 🤣 The SEC sits on their hands at blatant market manipulation by the top .5%'s hedge funds. They get in a pinch? No worries, they'll offload it triple A rating to your local teachers pension programs, and then hand out bonuses from the $1 Trillion paid by taxpayers. I'll pay into social security my whole life, knowing I won't see a cent. The only thing thats owed any to any of these responsible, is a swift judicial hammer of 1776 and a ride on a conveyor belt, moving at Mach speed, fitted with laser triggered guillotine at the end. So no LOL I will not be giving anyone "just" $10 more. On a totally separate unrelated note, any engineers in here think they can build a really fast conveyor belt? For reasons? -
I mean what happened to RB's bodies that at age 26/27 they fall off a cliff.... they have half the touches and half the career length as primary backs of the 90's/early 2000's (probably before then too, just not old enough to remember). Totally understand what you mean on the productivity of the position going down!

Anybody see that former OL from Packers saying he thinks he might have a shoulder injury not being disclosed? I truly don't know if thats true, it makes a ton of sense. He could've just been rattled by the most hostile stadium in sports... but damn he missed and one hopped a ton of easy throws... but also dropped a pretty dime later on in 2nd half. Made me think of that UCL injury (aka Tommy john). Ohtani took a year off, yet was able to knock 40 bombs. Its a weird injury. When Josh hurt his ucl I remember hearing something about the shorter passes being tougher, but the deeper passes put a different strain on the arm and actually felt more comfortable to throw. Am I imagining that, i swear to god I heard him or someone else talking about it after the season. Would seem to make a ton of sense to me. The kids annointed as chosen one and now cant hit a 15yard out route? Characteristics of that injury atleast visually made sense to me 🤷

How do I tag a mod to ask this to get moved to OTW? -
This should be studied!! Workhorse backs used to average 25-30, 35 carries per game and play till they were old. Emmitt, Jamal Lewis, Eddie george etc etc They were seeing double the carries and double the effective years in the nfl. WTF happened to them? I don't buy any 'kids are getting softer' bs. Its strange!!!

Thurman is 2 years behind the ball here, or at least the article is, maybe hes been chiming in. Its all part of the cyclical nature if the league. 2018-2021 passing really exploded. As a result we saw LB's in the Edmunds grow popular draft time. Guys that were essentially an extra DB on the field first and foremost and if the LB could thump in the run game (obv tremaine couldnt) that was a "bonus". Defensive backfields started loading up on these guys that were harder to toss the rock against, but weren't exceptional in the run game, but they were enough to stop the major threat, the pass. A Bunch of teams around 2020-2021 were in qb purgatory, so they started leaning back into the run game as their advantage against these smaller LBs. NE did it with Mac Jones, I forget the backs. Colts were doing it with Jonathan Taylor. Browns with Chubb and Hunt. It worked! Even though those teams were lower seeded they were teams we didnt want to bump into in 1st rd. Not cause they were powerhouse franchises, but a mismatch for the way the top teams were built. 2022 tides started shifting, heck we've even seen it here. Eagles drafted jihad Campbell this year in 1st rd!!! I know he brings some pass rush and is a good player... but he seems like a skill set that wouldn't have been a premier demand even 2-3 years ago. Leo Chennel might be a better example too. He hasn't exactly lit the world on fire, but he went late 3rd rd. I think if he came out this year, he would've went late first early 2nd as a thumper in the run game. Tl:dr it's all cyclical. As beefy LBers start to fill up team rooms, in a few years, we'll probably see a REnaissance of the pass game like we did.

3-0 🔥🔥🔥 Plus hit on a +650 King 'Next TD' once Buffaloes tied it at 20-20. 4-0. Huge night, damn GT is going to be a fun team to follow this year -
I was happy to read about all the praise hes been getting... wish we'd all been able to see it more. Im pretty optimistic all thing Buffalo, and wouldve been really happy having him as a serviceable outside WR... I've raised my expectations a bit, but not too much, prepare for the worst hope for the best seems to serve me well with a polarizing player like Keon. Man what an absolute shot in the arm it'd be to get last years offense with Kincaid snatching bodies and Keon being even a top 20-30 kinda guy in the NFL. I gotta say the absolute silence on the team since TC ended has been tough!!! Ready for real games to get back to flying around!!!

CAN WE GET THIS BAD BOY ROLLIN' AGAIN THIS YEAR PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE????? Tonight I like Georgia Tech @ Colorado 8pm (ET) : 1. GTech ML --I think -3.5 feels like a trap in hostile environment, and early season offenses sputtering a bit 2. Haynes King over 44 yards -- really like this. Kid is all guts, its going to be loud, and when communication breaks down he'll take off. Plenty of designed runs 3. Parlay - Sprinkled GT ML & King Rushing for 2 TD's (.2 units, other two got 1u)

Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract
BillsShredder83 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Based on? They've been saying his whole family, who has mentored him heavily are telling him take no shortcuts. As of today hes started 2 total games since HS. He sat there and ate his red-shirt, and sat there and watched Sarkasian let them blow a chance at a Natty, while Ewers imploded and he rode pine. He never hit the transfer portal when he could've done so and not only started, but secured the biggest NIL bag to be had. Itd seem incredibly short sided for him to rush his development IMO (and his HOF royalty football family). S*** changes fast in college, but I just cannot see it -

In 2027? Maybe? We've seen two games of Arch.... so NFL franchises are making 2025 decisions about 2027, based on high school recruits LOL Not to mention if Arch is the type of NFL prospect (2 seasons away) we think he will be, whos moving out of that #1 overall spot? Nobody!!!
