  1. I mean even if they did think it was a distraction, they arent going to ay it in the media. Its likely a combo of, "get good coordinators a fair shot", but also they felt like yes, it didnt allow them to put in 20hr days like alot of these coaches
  2. Agreed, we need to own it and acknowledge it. I think people saying they can do more than one thing here, are doing a disservice to the effort that goes into a playoff run. This is creme of the crop at the highesst level. All post season rosters are talented enough to get hot and win it all (NFCE as the exception). The biggest difference maker at the post season level is coaching. If you think a coach can prepare for an intensive interview and still coach these games, you are under estimating the work these other coaches put in. I do think a game could come down to the staff that put in more hours than the other, even by only a few hours. These other teams spend their entire day planning and sleeping minimal hours. You cant outwork another staff AND INTERVIEW, just not enough hours in the day.
  3. You know seeing him relax and smile this year (over in the NFC) I find myself liking the dude. Some of its not crushing my Bills, but to see him enjoying himself late in his career is refreshing, after leaving the black hole of joy. Someday he's gunna be retired, and ill be able to tell my kids I saw him play. Spent so much time hating the dude that I never really considered that really. So yeah, I'm not going to nut hug the guy, but yeah cool, try and enjoy his last run with TB!
  4. Tough to say too much from that small tape, but i like what i saw. He is projected in the 1st? DEs feel alot like QBs in the draft process to me. Almost have to take a gamble on a guy with 1 or 2 years production and hope it translates. Theres not alot of 10sack guys coming out in the draft, so alot of question marks. If Beane feels comfortable taking a DE in the first ill be thrilled, as I dont see him over reaching to fill a position of need.
  5. Is he LB or DE? He was lined up hand in the dirt alot. Also, my God highlight reels do all these fun graphics and audio, how hard could it possibly be to highlight the player presnap so I know exactly where Im looking at? Dude lined up at LB, and at L and RDE. Worst part of watching film, especially on DL
  6. I hate the state of race relations in this country. We have criminal charges for hate crimes, yet the media skates freely while profiting from widening the racial divide. I dont know what the answer is but it feels too late to fix in my lifetime (im 32). Too much finger pointing, in all directions. (Im staying on the point of the article, hang with me) Im White, Christian, straight and male, and am exhausted from being constantly vilified for it. My feelings on that are just a drop in the bucket compared to how the black community has been treated during this countries existence, then I can absolutely empathize with the frustration they must feel.
  7. Gerald Everett intrigues me. Maybe Daboll can scheme him into more targets than usual. Hes big (real big), quick, and athletic as heck. #s arent too bad contract wise for expected pay https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-rams/gerald-everett-21785/market-value/
  8. Remember when we wanted Antonio brown, and it didn't pan out, and we got Diggs? V-o-n MILLER-TIME!!!
  9. Maybe its a concession they give to help get things back on track salary cap wise? Beane sounded pretty sure it was 180-185 on his Collinsworth interview
  10. After playing on dumpster fires, youd think this would be EXTREMELY attractive. If i were him id want to play opposite of Myles though 🤷‍♂️
  11. The irony of the reporter crying about controlling the narrative, and then doing the same thing in this "article" is not lost on me.
  12. someone was crying this wasnt bills related, when it is, and theres ABSOLUTELY nothing else happening right now in the league
  13. As someone who checks this board literally 20-30xs a day for anything breaking, im appreciative for any new threads lol the one poster in here that thinks everyone should start threads to tell us about their day 😆
  14. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_South_Dakota_Learjet_crash I remembered this is a Sportscenter Kid, but never heard the details., but remember being bummed out. Hopefully that was an easier way to go than living through it awake
  15. Oh you don't want a DL that's never she'd a block in his life 😆😆😆
  16. Seen him play alot down here this year and hes an animal. Depends on how much he wants, but i definitely like the idea
  17. Beane is unquestionably a wizard at work lol
  18. Thanks for doing these Yolo! Theres been a little shoot the messenger in the prospect threads, but its been one reliable way to find atleast a player or two we end up with as of late!
  19. Wow is he undersized! He looks like a kid out there, but if Beane and co see him as a fit in a later round im on board. Would leave Daboll with his work cut out trying to figure out the best way to use him
  20. "loyalty is everything"... proceeds to force his way out a year after signing. I dont think Watson is completely at fault here, but he sounds stupid playing the loyalty card here
  21. Random, but im assuming you subscribe to the athletic...... i took advantage of a 3mos for $1/mth. Its about to end lol how much is it normally. They dont have a ton of content, but the stuff they do have is a quality product!
  22. My angle is he played 90% of snaps and has been the focal point of preparation by opposing offenses his whole career. Hoping a lower % snaps can keep him healthy happy and rejuvenated. He'll be on a better defense, better coaching and supposedly the best training/ recooperating facilities in the league.
