First, mods feel free to move. I was listening to Barstool Podcast 'Macrodose', with PFT and Arian Foster (dudes really fun on this show), and they had a stupid but fun hypothetical scenario. Something a little different than the same players we've been talking about for 2mos now.... You have to pick one football player, to clone 11xs, in an attempt to make the best offense or defense. So if you pick Josh Allen. Josh is your QB/WR /OL/ TE etc etc. The player is in his prime, and going against a real NFL team, let's say the 2021 Detroit Lions. My fav answer was Aaron Donald x11 on offense. The argument was the HB Gut straight up the middle every play. Fun to picture and A.D was a damn good HS R.B. Other popular answers were Adrian Peterson, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Kyle Pitts (weakest one imo). Popular answers on defense were Lawrence Taylor. Sean Taylor. Tyrann Mathieu (11 blitzing Honey Badgers). Ronnie Lott. Troy Palomaulu. Who you guys picking?

Anti-pick (Who do you not want to see?)
BillsShredder83 replied to DasNootz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Devils advocate a bit here... but I've heard theories about why what's seemingly only an inch or two one way, can become pretty amplified when talking about disrupting passing lanes, and the ball having to take fairly different trajectories (increases difficulty of throws, disrupts timing/ effect WRs ability to get to "their spot", keeps the ball in the air longer). I cant pretend to understand the game at that level, maybe someone else here can... maybe this is total horse ****. Honestly I'm not even intending to play Devils advocate here, as much as just sharing an interesting theory. -

Christian Watson. Just say no -
spot on. im hoping other teams recognize him for that and arentr breaking out the brinks truck. i think he'd be very bad in a scheme diff than we have him in. maybe FA next year isnt what he hopes and comes back on a very team friendly deal
-
lol not a big deal, people are razzing you because theres 3 new tremaine threads a week, AND every other thread turns into a tremaine discussion lol the timing of your post was just comedically bad for anyone whos around here regularly. dont take it to heart 😆
-
If this title is a troll, you are amazing literally LOL at thread title. While were at it, has anyone talked about Breece Hall?
-
im not on board with rb in 1st, but the argument of taking the ball outta joshs hands is crazy... hall is a guy that can run routes and screens. you can run the ball the same amount as last year and have it be effective. 3rd n short would be nice to not have our half billion $ qb taking a beating for 3 yards. you can be a balanced team and still pass 75/25. also josh would certainly benefit from a guy that keeps teams outta 2 high safety, instead of having to go against the current with it.

In what fantasy land does anyone want Epenesa Hodgins and Moss even if they were FA, let alone giving up major assets for lol them giving us an interest free 1st rd loan... one that started as a 7th and turned into pick 32 lol this is sooooo bad

Kyle Brandt will announce Bills 3rd round pick
BillsShredder83 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude he's a sports personality, not a blood flying blue rags lol you can't get in that line of work and not end up invested in other teams. We're a cool story, with a fun qb that anyone would kill to be around. -

Yeah he reminded me of Nate honestly. Just cool calm demeanored dude that's loved by his teammates. He didn't have the year he wanted but his personality meshed right in that locker room fast -
Would make for some fun mismatches. Would take some weird personnel to try and stop it
-
Are you method acting Mr. Beane After-Dark lollllll
-
im not in the re-sign him club, but theres zero reason he shouldnt look substantially better this year just from the DL in front of him. will be a great position for his succesor to step into in 2023, but i expect improved LBing play this year, even if he plays at the same level
-
we talking arm length or weight here?
-
i guess the chart lost me. i just see that outter ring is 100%, so i took it to mean 100% over expected?
-
Hoping you're right but did i miss something? Havent seen anything indicating that
-
1 rb, 2 TEs, Waller in the slot. that vaunted '13' offense 😆
-
Josh did it cooler with "no"
-
"by yards % over expected" ??? does that mean on the outside run, if the avg back gets 5 yards, hes getting almost 10yds, or am i misinterpreting it?
-
its a gamble. you better have several players you like in that range. personally im not a fan of trading back and getting stuck with taking a player thats a lower grade, at a more premier position. trading back puts you at risk of pick purgatory, if you're confident you can use a guy as a serious weapon id rather stand put and just take the guy you like the most.... but again, thats the cost of trading back

Mekhi Becton done as a Jet?
BillsShredder83 replied to Captain Hindsight's topic in The Stadium Wall
thats what i mean. 3k cals is a fairly normal amount, and id say most adult men cant eat 3k clean calories. this guy aint eating 7k cals of chicken rice and veggies. the floor at his passenger seat is likely corpses of McDs and Popeyes bags -
i guess i was a bit vague here. i assumed the only reason theyd look to trade him is $. hes due 7m this year and like 8ish next year, highly underpaid. an elite TE on an extremely friendly team deal... if hes not talking about holding out, why would they deal him? i understand they have minimal picks this year, but not sure how dealing a known strength for draft picks (lotto scratchers) helps a team that is NOT rebuilding... I don't think we could pay him, and I think were gunna have a hard time paying Knox as is.... so why give up assets for a TE, to let a really good one walk, to pay an elite guy elite $. just makes no sense for us. love the player though

kinda sad for the dude. i liked him as a prospect coming out, big boy could really move, fun to watch. sad to see a career spiral over eating problems. if you eat you way outta the NFL imagine what 2 years of not being a pro athlete will do to a guy. hope he gets it under control for his own sake
