  1. We can find someone better in the pass game. Barkley has not been asked to catch the ball as much as of late, but dude had 90 catches as a rookie. You pay a guy that is a true dual threat and can pass block. Cook is not an elite route runner or pass catcher, his pass blocking hurt us in AFCCG. Drops too many balls. Im never paying an elite 'running only' RB. Barkley and McCaffrey are exceptions to the RB rule because they are weapons in pass game. Henry is the rare exception, and the only one in the last 15years that deserves to be paid based on running only... but he also is a pass blocker. Go upgrade him as a weapon, get cheaper, lose a little carrying skill set dep't, gain some in pass catching dep't, and have him be a 3rd down back. With this OL, it wont be hard to do.
  2. Too bad he had to publicly be a d-bag. He couldve kept this internal and made a trade easier. He didnt kill his trade value, but he hurt it. We sure AF arent paying it,we woulda had more options that are realistic from the teams side of things. Cant get paid if we dont have a fair trade partner. Shoot him to the moon draft weekend. His trade value wouldve been at his highest without this news.
  3. We have a nasty OL, and Cook has stone hands. DO NOT GET ME WRONG, i love what dude brings to the table. but we have an absolutely filthy OL that will only get better with another year of continuity!! I like what Davis brings as a compliment, and we can get a young back that is similar. Package him with some picks for Crosby, Garret, or a WR maybe. Or trade him for picks. If he was the pass catcher he was advertised coming out as, id be on board.... but he is as high as he always looks if he thinks hes getting $$ better than Saquan.
  4. Pirates were competitive and have some young studs coming up, and Im pretty sure the smallest payroll. Nonetheless, I hope Paul Skenes ends up a Yankee hahahahaha
  5. Is it possible we WANTED to go to this, but personnel kept us from being able to do it? Drafting Elam was a marker towards a desire to change philosophy, but he didnt work out, this was right arounf the time Poyer / Hyde were at the end of the line, so Elam was step 1, and we woold have a chance to start getting the correct players as the old guys left? Maybe Bishop fits that mold but we werent able to change scheme yet this year, so we decided to ride it out with the players scheme they were brought in for? Our man 2 man rates were much higher as well the last 2 years Just a thought. I have no clue if true and am only questioning lol so dont flame me
  6. I keep seeing Tetairoa McMillan Ariz WR going in the 17th-18th range. Anybody have thoughts on this guy lasting until then, and if hed be a good fit?
  7. Bad draft for WR really. ughhh wish we'd went to that well again last year. rspecially knowing last year was supposed to be a special class, and this years being dog chit.... not to mention the guy would be carrying a year into the offense starting fall 2025
  8. In fairness, the last time KC lost in SB, looked exactly the same way. Proof you can never draft in the trenches too much, you just g2 hit on em. Personally I believe we have a DL developing problem. Go find the Kromer of the DL and pay him whatever! Philly clearly does not have that problem, and is why their many high DL picks have worked out Evidence piece 2.1 that we have a developing DL problem
  9. BPA. plug holes with FA
  10. Yeah this wouldnt be good. This feels like one of those things where knee jerk is "maybe IT COULD BE US, GET ERRRR DONEEEEE".... and then he ends up on NYJ or MIA lol would almost have to be a bad team
  11. It was weird. All i can think is that he knows Kelce is retiring, saw him (thats who he slapped up next), and decided to go right to him first... maybe he came back for Perrine off camera after. Id bet its either that^^ or they actually have some kind of beef
  12. This thread will sell some electric palm razors over the next month I can tell you that
  13. Id explore Bernard's trade value just to see what it looks like. love the dude but his injury history has got to spook them a bit, and if youre already worried about getting him a new contract down the line, consider selling high (depending on his value AND WHAT THAT VALUE CAN HELP BRING). What I mean is - dont open up a hole for no reason just because their is good value offered. Get some feelers out there; and if you need to make a trade for a player on draft day (WR1, Garrett, Crosby), have it lined up if you need it
  14. Shoulda fired this dude for picking that hat
  15. I'm looking for depth signing deal
  16. pro bowl is such a funny way to defend your take lol Care to expand on this for a curious mind?
  17. I gotta say I was pretty over the loss, but dambbb that brought me right back
  18. Its unbelievable what greed has done to this league. Fn sickening
  19. Agreed. However my argument for Cooper is i think hes a completely different guy with a full TC and offseason to get on same page with Josh. if he wants to play on a contender and the $$ is close, i can 100% see him here. theres a reason in season nfl trades are so rare. this is exactly why. wish hed had 1 more year on his deal, but i think a 1yr prove it deal or a 2-3 year fair deal could work out great for both sides
  20. This past offseason really humbled me on what NFL fans know. I was fully out on D.Henry. Balt was def his best landing spot but it felt like an Eddie George to the Cowboys type signing.... or Zeke to the Pats. Old worn down, high $$, bad return. Pretty sure that seemed like the general thought process here (w/ exceptions of course). I thought the Barkley money was absurd. seemed like a season tix seat filler, where hed have a solid season, and wouldnt move the needle. Hard L i took there. B Thomas was intriguing to me early on, but several Gabe Davis comps from all around spooked me. The one-trick pony criticism absolutely did. "Deepest class" added on to me thinking a trade up was silly. This one was the least unanimous on this board with several nailing it. Going into this year FA and draft class, I dont know which way is up. Hopefully the Bills fade whatever I think we should do lol
  21. We're on the same page, small asterisk needed though. Cant call Kincaid a non-BPA IMO. Trading up is the way you handle BPA + need.
  22. This is where the "dig another well" comment came from. We just saw Chip Kelly get $5m from the poverty a** Raiders. Surely we could hit the market and get difference makers here without even abusing our cap. Are we serious about winning one??? How much is "overpaying" for a DL coach???? Just get it done. Get Brady some help on the other side too. Find a passing game coordinator who can help Brady out with scheming guys open. Crazy we have to even talk about this kinda thing
  23. You're right. And this is right. At the same time in a conference championship, DOMINATING enough to overcome refs vs a top tier team going for a SB trip is a tall ask. It's like having to win against the spread, and Chiefs started with +7. +7 refs is incredibly generous too. We had a chance to score on the previous drive for sure... but to have points taken away, and flip that into 7 pts for KC. Ended up being a 10pt call at minimum, 14 at worst. Nothing any of us can do, but it would've took a -7 to -10 effort to squeak that game out. Baffling the league just refuses to fix this. Make refs full time. Pay them. Make it an actually competitive field to get into, no nepotism. Add a chip in the ball. Give NY HQ's a choice to chirp into the game for major calls. I don't even mind the bad calls. Those are what they are.... the inconsistency of interpretations and enforcement is what's really ruining the game. Develop and enforce one standard. Not have 20crews with different artistic interpretations. Dictate these terms to the crews, it's their job. If they can't or won't adhere to those dictations, they can go call school ball
