Right, refs cant be expected to make the correct call on the field, and they have NO WAY to get the call correct. That is the definition of a broken system, sorry

How about this: -Simplify the rules -Allow challenges on the following penalties: personal fouls, pass interference, penalties that WERE called on a scoring play. -There should be an NFL center like hockey has, where there are a number of officials with HD views of all plays. They should be able to signal in a correct call when the refs make a mistake. This doesn't apply to penalties. These wouldn't be extended reviews, but just a quick call that is deemed the call on the field. This would need a lot of hashing out. For example, if they don't signal in a new call or that they are reviewing it before the play is set, then they cannot change the ruling. There reviews should be limited to 20-25 seconds This means the maclin catch and hogan catch would have been reviewed by refs instantly to make a call on the field. The bills could have challenged the maclin push off.

How sad is that? We can't expect officials to get a call correct? This is my point, the system is clearly broken. There should be a ref in the booth looking at that catch immediately.

If anyone watches non-bills games, this happens throughout the league. What about the god awful push off by maclin? The rules need to be simplified, there need to be full time refs that know what they are doing, and there needs to be someone up in a booth reviewing each play for bad officiating.

What other sport can fans be mad at coaching every week for not fixing ref's pathetic attempts at calling the right play? Rex deserves blame and should be fired, but there is a deeper problem in football right now. The refs dictate the outcome way too much

No. Coverage sacks happen when everyone is covered and the QB takes a sack after 5 seconds. It is purely on the QB when he hangs onto the ball for 10 seconds. He has gotta act like he has a brain and get outside the pocket to throw it away

We took a ton of penalties last year, don't even. Penalties league wide are up drastically this year. We were undisciplined last year, and are again. Its a joke
