Hogan targets the last 5 weeks of the regular season = 7, 2, 5, 4, 4.
So by Hogan being the #1 receiver, you mean like not really at all. Bennet is also the primary receiver, and their running backs get more targets. Hogan is the 4th receiver on a team that lost gronk.
He is also nothing special and there is no difference between hogan and any other #4 or #5 receiver the team has thrown out there. If hogan got hurt and didn't play, there would not be a difference.
Watkins, if healthy, would dominate and be a top 3 WR in the league with tom brady. If watkins was hurt, then whoever the #5 receiver is would paly and be the same as hogan.
One last thing, Hogan replaced Brandon Lafell. 2015 Lafell substantially outproduced 2016 Hogan in every way. And that was operating much lower on the depth chart with a healthy gronk and productive amendola.
