Make the cuts to get the comp pick
Numark3 replied to The juice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hey team in the playoff hunt! Do you want to cut starters and key contributors on your team based on chemistry, all for the sake of a 3rd rounder!?!? Then boy do I have the deal for you! -
Since when is the NFL the same as the NBA, MLB, NHL. Trading away free agents for low draft picks is pretty rare. Especially with the compensatory system in place. It happens a few times a year, but expecting it to is silly.

Are you in on the joke? Your misunderstanding of football is too explicit to be real...?

Week 9: Jets' Game Preparation - Inactives Announced

This is the NFL and they are professionals. I think the trap game theory has been disproven in every possible way at this level of play. Yea it might make sense (it does make sense) when you played sports in school, or tests in school, but professionals are different. I treat all my work projects the same, no matter what. Im sure NFL players do the same. So there is definitly logic to the trap game theory, and it does make sense. Its not dumb at all. But I dont think its true. With that being said, Im sure theres been instances of some players not being professional and taking an nfl game for granted and then losing. But not on a large scale or anything. -
People may have a heart attack, but a CB may be in our future with one of our first three picks. And it would be smart

Texans ready to walk out on owner after “inmate” comments
Numark3 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know why people argue with this guy. He will never know how ignorant and a fool he is. No point in educating him. Let's all be happy he gets his nonsense out on a message forum, and not in the real world. And I know that, and would bet all I have, that he can't make a (negative) impact with whatever career he has/had thankfully. Seriously, people need to learn that a giant part of this country is going to be very very very ignorant people. No point in arguing with them. -

I mean taylor's choice was god awful. But I don't know why that play was even run in the first place
-
So I am going to chime in, and say that trying to go short to the sidelines with no timeouts with 12 seconds left, WHILE ALREADY IN FG RANGE, is objectively bad clock management. With a good decision making QB (I am a tyrod-fan, but come on), it would be a fine call. But why put the ball in taylor's hands with 12 seconds left merely to gain a few yards on a short field goal. The risk way outweighes the reward, as we all saw. Concerning playcall in terms of how good of a grasp our coaches have with clock management

There are lots of cases. Why do you think all the states have it as a crime if it was preempted? Dont you think someone convicted under them would have argued that and won. There is a NY case from a few months ago called Pimental but I have no way of linking it. I promise you people are convicted under these laws and courts reject the argument that federal law controls. Anyways this is getting off topic, and there are more interesting arguments about what terrorism is or isnt.
-
There can be state and federal versions of a crime. It doesnt mean federal law preempts it. Nevada isnt amending the US code, it is creating its own state crime for terrorism. Nevada of course does have jurisdiction for a crime committed wholly in Nevada for the most part (unless federal law premepts it, think bank robberies) Here is an example of a similar situation......drug crimes lol. Take the advice you just have. Argue your point differently, this isnt a hill you want to die on.
-
I agree terrorism should be confined to people affiliated to terrorist groups who are furthering their agenda. The problem is its not used that way colloquially (by both sides, ie calling any crime by a Muslim an act of terrorism) or legally in lots of contexts
-
Dude, you have a bad bad bad understanding of law. Unless you can point me to the federal-law-preempts-States-from-defining-terrorism law. Your overall point is arguable, but try not to butcher legal facts. Its no bueno. Your whole post is factually wrong somehow, which is kinda impressive lol Can I sell anyone who believes this something? Like a rock for 10,000 dollars or something....please?

Hughes doesn't get why Jim Kelly is on the field in 2017

Jim Kelly disrespected by Shady stretching during Anthem
Numark3 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why can't you understand that the flag means different things to different people. And if it means XYZ to you, and someone doesn't stand up for the flag, that doesn't mean anything about XYZ to them. That is literally projecting your beliefs on to someone else, and then taking it a step further, saying they disrespect your beliefs. The flag means very little to me, oh well. Guess what, the flag and national anthem mean something different to black people. Go look up what Jackie Robinson once said about the flag and anthem. Coming directly from slaves will do that to someone. So you need to understand different people see different things in the flag and anthem. Doesn't make them right or wrong. Just respect their right to protest and don't project stuff on anyone. -

Why in the world should the team invite Kelly to the sidelines if he is going to openly criticize the current players. It is BS -
Villanueva Top Selling Jersey Today
Numark3 replied to dwight in philly's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It was a vote. A couple other teams stayed in the locker room too. They emphasized all doing the same thing. Someone went against the grain and I havent seen much negative attention to him. I dont quite get the point. I think that concern is imaginary, or even, fake news -

Thats not true at all. Most players stood yesterday, where are people hating on them?
