  1. We should all be exempt from links that are common sense or easily verifiable without someone demand proof. Asking for links to learn more is something totally different and should be encouraged!
  2. When I did the list with links, I re-ordered them in likelihood of you believing they are political hoaxes (I believe a white person making up a story about a black person raping them is inherently politically motivated, but I figured we might disagree so I moved them to the bottom). I will be surprised if you believe the first three aren't politically motivated. And again, I only need one to back up my original post. I put about 15 minutes into this, so I look forward to your answers. Im sincerely curious why you would dispute that a conservative has falsified being a victim for political reasons. Or a hoax. It seems like an unreasonable position for you to take. And it’s objectively wrong too.
  3. How about you read my post I just said. To prove my claim, I only need one example. Ashley Todd, I gave you a link. I asked you a few questions, it is only fair for you to answer them. And again, you only need one to prove my point (I just said i don't understand it when a liberal or conservative does it. There were no plurals or anything) And honestly, you can read the Ashley Todd story in about 60 seconds. So I'll wait for you answers, since you want to play this game.
  4. 3rdnlng, I made this post: Here are my questions to you. 1) My original post just said that I don't understand when anyone does it, liberal or conservative. Wouldn't one example of a conservative back up my post factually? 2) Isn't Ashley todd a perfect example? 3) Did I back up my post with facts. I don't see how you can argue I have not 4) Why in the world would you (wrongly as I have shown) dipsute that a conservative has falsified being a victim to further a political point (and if you don't think this, why would have me proove it)? I am very interested in you explaining this
  5. I made the list. I will wait for your reply. And just for the record, I didn't make a claim nor was I trying to prove a point. I made an innocuous post saying I think it is bizarre when people, regardless of political affiliation, make up these stupid hoaxes. You are the one who is acting like I am saying something worth prooving.
  6. Seriously? I don't have a point to prove. I didn't even want to make this stupid list. Some clown keeps asking for it just because I said I don't get it when people make up these stupid hoaxes (liberal or conservative). I am with you The_Dude, I think it is derailing the thread and is dumb. Of course hoaxes are made up by both sides, 3rdnlgn is confused by that very simple point that shouldn't even be disputed.
  7. I didn't say life begins when they come out the birth canal. I said it is a very clear black/white line to draw proscribing rights to someone. And legal rights are absolutely given to someone. I am not making a chart comparing the rights someone has before and after being born, that shouldn't be disputed... Like I said, you can disagree with me, but I think it is a reasonable place to draw the line.
  8. lol okay. Just because I want to see what stupid excuse you have to not engage me when I give you proof, I'll gladly prove you wrong. Ashley Todd = A woman made up a story of a black man robbing her, pinning her down, scratching the letter B (for obama) into her face. Joshua Witt =Made up a story of people accusing him of being a neo-nazi because of his haircut, and them stabbing him. His allegations went viral and was picked up by conservative media. Walker Daugherty and Micahel Bryant = Two hunting guides shot up a place and made up a story about seeing mexicans illegally cross the border and do the shooting. Kristen Michelle Rhimes (November 2018) - Completely fabricated a story of a black man attempting to rape her in a walmart parking lot. She was apparently nowhere near a walmart. She is facing felony charges. Mary Zolkowski (February 2018) - Made up a story about a black guy raping her. She plead guilty for falsely reporting a felony. Breana Rachelle Harmon (March 2017) - A women in texas made up a story about three black guys kidnapping her and gangraping her. She also plead guilty. Teresa Klein (Octber 2018) - A women called police accusing a nine year old black boy of sexually assaulting her....video surveillance showed it never happened. Leiha Ann-Sue Artman + her boyfriend (2016) - A white woman made up a story about four black guys kidnapping her and gangraping her. Katie Mager + her boyfriend (2017) - A white woman made up a story of being robbed at knifepoint by three black guys.
  9. We give rights to babies once they enter this world through the magical canal. In other words, once it is born It seems like a pretty reasonable line to draw the line. Are you in favor of giving those rights beforehand? Should we let parents get a SSN for a baby not yet born? You can disagree, but I think being born is a good like to draw for a lot of things. Honestly man, if you ask someone to take the time to make you a list, you can take three seconds to copy and paste a name into google to get what you are looking for. Big shocker you asked someone to make a list, they did, and you have some stupid reason to not engage with them.
  10. Seriously? Google them, stop being such a clown. It takes 5 seconds to do it. i also posted names a few posts down that are directly tied to politics. If you want to have a discussion about it, feel free. Otherwise, thanks for wasting my time.
  11. Yea that's what I figured and its interesting. It really does raise tough questions, and there is no doubt there are bad reasons. Especially as science gets more advanced and we can predict physical features of children (aborting babies until you get one with green eyes, etc.) *** I don't know why it riled up others, I was just switching back to minor disabilities compared to homosexuality because I think it proves your point better.
  12. Yea, and I made your list earlier in that thread, can you respond if it satisfies you? As for here, I explained why I thought aborting people for minor disabilities is more interesting than aborting for sexual preference, what is it that you don't understand about that?
  13. I can't follow what in the world you are talking about in this thread, sorry. If you want to talk about the black hoax thing, then go in that thread...
  14. Well that's also why I asked him to clarify what he wanted before I made a list, because I knew I would get responses like this. But, regardless, I think falsely (and many of these are public accusations) accusing black men of crimes is inherently a political statement. Just like many of the ones on b-mens list don't explicitly mention MAGA, they are inherently political and used from a political standpoint by the media. Plus, to get exactly what you wanted, you have to go back to when we had a democratic president. Stories like Ashley Todd making up a story of an obama supporter attacking her. Just a quick google to refresh my memory, Joshua Witt's story about being attacked for having the neo-nazi haircut is another one. Walker Daugherty and Micahel Bryant made up a story of illegal immigrants who had just crossed the border attacking them or something.
  15. If you are talking about a law that allows someone to get an abortion for any reason, at any stage, then I believe the main talking point stays the same regardless of the reason: I may disagree with the reason, but I believe in the right to get an abortion at any stage for any reason. I honestly don't think it changes things that much. My only point, that seems to be lost on a few, was instead of fast forwarding to a hypothetical where there is a gay gene, why not stick to the minor disabilities that we can actually detect. I think its just as interesting, more relevant, and it doesn't mix views on abortion and homosexuality (i just don't think its interesting, but I get your point). Or in other words, how would aborting someone with down's syndrome sit with the left is an interesting point. But my position on this is I don't care about the reason for getting an abortion, its irrelevant to me. No reason or a bad reason, I am okay with abortions.
  16. You can be tough to follow. Someone posted something about if abortion advocates are okay with aborting for minor diseases, then why not for sexual preference. And I only commented that I thought the point about minor diseases was much more interesting as it teases out a lot of great discussion points (what line to draw for diseases, eugenics, the late-term abortion talking points are very relevant). For some reason you think there is an argument there, and are trying to project some opinion i have never made about procreation and homosexuality. I just mentioned it isn't as good as a point because it is not a disability and is further down the slippery slope. I have no idea why you can't follow that. And for you black hoax point, I asked you to clarify. You didn't, for some reason, so I made a list anyways. I honestly had you as one of the better posters here, unlike the parallels to Tibs/34 like B-man and row33. But today you are just randomly picking up one of my posts, asking me to do something, and refusing to follow along. Again, its obnoxious.
  17. Sorry that I think aborting babies for minor disabilities raises more interesting points than aborting them for sexual preferences. I realy slow, me clients pay me lots for little brain.
  18. I literally explained it in the rest of the post. What degree of disability should/could warrant an abortion ties in a lot of the current topics regarding late-term abortions and physical/mental health lines of discussions as well. It is a pretty interesting topic. Whether or not we should abort fetuses based on sexual preference doesn't really implicate that stuff. It is much further down the slippery slope. I have noticed you are aren't really engaging in discussions with me, but just asking me to do stuff. It is really obnoxious, so I am going to stop doing it. One sided conversations aren't anything i am interested in (and plenty of other people here seem to be just fine at engaging in conversations). Thanks.
  19. And since we apparently have to back stuff up that is common knowledge (as if this country doesnt have a dark history of white people staging crimes against black people, but I guess 3rdnlng is unaware of it or something), here is literally five minutes worth of googling. ... ***Again, my point was these stories are always bizarre to me. My point wasn't, "hey, conservatives do it to." But for some reason, people on here must think only minorities stage crimes or something (who knows).
  20. I literally asked if that’s what your asking. I’m not googling for five minutes for you to tell me that’s not what you wanted. or I can play your game: so you ask me to do something, and when I clarify, you can’t give me an answer? You really have obnoxious down pat.
  21. Your point about aborting people with Down’s syndrome is a much better point than the homosexual one. I think what you should be getting at is what degree of disabilities could this lead to or something along those lines. Obviously Down’s syndrome is a disability (I don’t know why you are hinting at it not being one...), but does it warrant an abortion. As you said, you can live a long and successful life with it. Its a really interesting point. Forget about your mental health point, what about when we can determine these things in the first trimester, when you don’t need a reason to have an abortion.
  22. Well I don’t make lists on demand. Do you want me to google examples for you of white people staging crimes against minorities lol? Is that what you are asking? Did I say anything about that?
  23. That scenario doesn’t really tease anything out though. Assuming an abortion advocate believes you can abort for disabilities like down syndrome, why would aborting someone for their sexual preference be implicated? Does anyone think that is a disability anymore?
  24. I didn’t say liberal or conservative hoaxes, I said falsely being a victim by liberals and conservatives. There are plenty of examples of white people falsely accusing minorities of assaulting them. My point was it’s so strange to see, regardless of the narrative.
