  1. Karlos? There ain't no stinking Karlos here!
  2. If the Bills lead the league in Rushing attempts this year, and they sound like they want to. 300 carries would be about 52-53% of the total carries if you use the average (550) of the leaders over the last 5 years. My guess would be they probably want Shady to have 60-65% of the carries(330-350). You beat me to it.
  3. Thanks 26CB. Great see everyone coming together and having fun, not with just teammates, but with former players and fans.
  4. Pff ranked them at the end of the season 30th best line. Run blocking 32nd Pass blocking 23rd. It's all in the eye of the beholder. By the way Pff just ranked them 11th best in terms of allowing pressure to Kyle Orton not the entire Bills team.https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/01/08/2014-pff-offensive-line-rankings/
  5. If you actually follow the conversation all the way back to where it started T H E Y A R E T A L K I N G A B O U T A L E X S M I T H.
  6. Yeah JJ Watt blew up the Bills OL all by himself, it was amazing to watch. In the Chargers game they ran stunts all day long against the Bills and no one on the Bills sideline knew what adjustments needed to be made. Man the coaches were god awful.
  7. If it's close between Meh and one of the young QBs, I would think Tyrod or EJ would be the starter.
  8. Hmmm. really? Of the 49 pass attempts Jackson and Woods were targeted only 21 times not almost every time, but only 42% of the time. For the record Hogan had as many targets as Woods(9) and Sammy wasn't far off with 7 and Chandler 6. Take Fred out of the equation and the ball was spread pretty evenly. Targets for the game: 12, 9, 9, 7, 6, 4, 2. Heck you can't even blame the OL in this 51 drop-backs only two sacks and 6 QB hits. This coming from a QB that never met a sack he didn't like. Cue: fetal position.
  9. If factoring in age then I could see a ranking near 4-6 spots, but fourth best opening day no way.
  10. Or was it the defense doing it's part despite an offense who went from 7:24 of the first quarter until 1:02 of the second quarter without a first down. After the second Bills drive of the game(which ended with a KO Int.) the Bills drives for the rest of the 1st half are as follows: 3 plays 5 yds 1:34, 3 plays 4 yds 1:24, 3 plays 2yds 0:41, 3 plays 3 yds 0:47, 3 plays 2 yds 1:29, 8 plays 41 yds 1:11. How anyone can defend that is beyond me. 6 drives 23 plays for 57 yds and only 7 minutes and 6 seconds of possession time. How is a defense suppose to get a breather when the offense, for 6 straight drives, has the ball for an average of 1 minute 1 second? I see the glaring failure. It's an offense that looked like the worst in the NFL and was led by Kyle Orton.
  11. OC does matter to the success of a QB I give you that. If smith's stats are inflated because of playing from behind shouldn't Cams? Once again I think Cams good, no doubt, just not top four good In saying that I would have loved to see him come here. This team would be thinking Super Bowl.
  12. Wes already showed promise with the Dolphins before he went to the Pats**, yes? He had 67 rec. the last year with the Dolphins. Wes hasn't been on New England since 2012. Why does he count and not Peters ? Peters was a 2x Pro Bowler while on the Bills. I don't understand your logic on this subject at all.
  13. In Cam's first two years Steve Smith had 2,568 yards for an average of 1,284 yards per year. I don't know what meets your criteria for a #1 receiver but I would say that's a #1 on 25 -27 teams in the NFL. Must have looked at 10 lists of top QBs in the league, best one I saw for Cam was #8. Most had him in the 10-14 range. I understand it's your opinion, but I wouldn't put him that high. To me around 9-12 seems about right.
  14. So a Jason Peters or Fred Jackson don't count ? Peters and Jackson are better than two out three of your examples. Peters might be better than all three. Both meet your criteria, in that they both needed development and neither appeared promising early on. EDIT: And Wes Welker had 67 catches the year before he was traded to the Pats**
  15. He already did get heckled during games and once again didn't handle it well. The kid has got to stop taking himself so seriously and be able to handle some heckling. Until that time, he's fair game.
  16. As if you don't already. ..... Richie needs to watch himself out in the public eye. There will be less tolerance for him and he should know this.
  17. Wow that's some money. Most of his stats have gone down since his Rookie year. I would follow with I don't know much about Carolina so maybe he has little help?
  18. Fred will be fine like always. Boobie Dixon wasn't used as a FB he was used as a RB. He had decent year running but killed on special teams blocking 2 punts, one in which he was pretty much the only guy rushing the punter. I don't see the Bills getting rid of Dixon. Why would a new RB, with all Ray's baggage, who averaged 3.1 yards a carry his last year in the league and a year removed from the league be a better option than the heart and soul of the team? I agree with you on Brown, shown glimpses but can't hang on to the ball. I hope the Bills stay as far away from Mr. Rice as possible.
  19. It is a classy move for Jim's charity. No doubt this idea was constructed between Rex and Jim and a few cold ones.
  20. I agree with both of you on this. It's OTAs not training camp. It will bring the team closer and meet several former Bills. Imo
  21. Hi Jim and welcome to the board. As far as Freddie is concerned, I and most others here are with you. I think Freddie is worth his weight in gold as the leader of the team, along with Kyle, and the heart he shows on the field game in and game out. Most of the negativity is coming from Buffaloed in Pa. .He's been on a crusade for a couple months to oust Freddie. Some advise "Don't feed the trolls". Most on here are great though. Once again welcome, try not to take things too serious and you'll be fine
  22. So Kelly is saying without a doubt Br*dy* cheated. Thanks.
  23. Tom Br*dy* lost in the playoffs exactly one time less than Montana. You're going to make that comment when the playoff losses outside the Super Bowl are 7 to 6 ? Really ? You make it sound like it's a big margin. After an 10-0 start to the playoffs, Br*dy's* 11-8 since. I love the line Br*dy's* accomplishments, however they might have been achieved, are unparalleled. Like it doesn't matter the Pats** and Br*dy* have been caught cheating ? See most people believe if you have to cheat to win you have actually won nothing. And I don't want to hear that it didn't help or help much because if that were the case they would have never done it in the first place. Keep fighting the unwinnable fight.
