  1. This really makes no sense at all. Sounds like EJ is going to be stuck in the third position.
  2. I heard somewhere on the board earlier Fred had 10 yard lead on his long run. Well I just watched it several times and that statement is WROOOOOONG!
  3. I'm hear ya eball. The only thing I wanted was Tyrod and EJ( in any order) to be 1 & 2.
  4. Very sad to hear the news. Love me some Fred. At some time this year we will miss him. If I recall correctly when the staff brought in Richie, Harvin, and IK they said they were comfortable with the moves because of the leadership in the locker room. Well today that leadership took a huge hit. Would have loved to see him make the playoffs while still a Bill. Thanks Fred for all the memories, you are a true class act.
  5. Wanted EJ or Tyrod. So some good news to go along with the bad.
  6. What you have to understand is, so is the 9.4 ypa. The most any team averaged last year was 8.0(Dallas).
  7. But not a 87.5% completion rate, and 21.3 YPA QB performance. If it were me, I would take the latter.
  8. That's it the Bills are going to have several fog machines around the practice field so no one will be able to see who's playing QB. Brilliant!! Man you just can't make this sh!t up.
  9. Everyone knowing EJ can't be trusted is not true, I trust EJ more than Cassel. A couple of simple career facts here: Cassel: 96 tds 70 ints 48 fumbles td to turnover ratio .813% EJ: 16 tds 12 ints 7 fumbles td to turnover ratio .842% So again why can't EJ be trusted and Cassel can. I just don't get it. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/8644 http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/15803
  10. I was going to bold certain parts of your post 3rdand12 but found I pretty much agree with everything. These cuts that are coming up are going to be tough and almost every fan will look a couple cuts and it will be someone the really like or they think shouldn't be cut. But it's a great position to be in. I hope all is well 3rdand12, I haven't posted much lately.
  11. MDH, quit stating facts. It's all about what your eyes tell ya......well, unless it isn't.
  12. Fine his career average is 6.6 which last year would have netted the Bills tied for 19th (Cleveland finished 15th 6.9) . Now if you look at his career average and what he has shown this year it's not good by any standards.https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/yards-per-pass-attempt/ Never mind... It went right over your head.
  13. He is a master at it.
  14. I'm not using a crystal ball, but rather my eyes. He's completed 13/15 passes at a 86.7% clip. There's no way with a completion percentage that high his yards per attempt should be at 5.5, that's horrible. Especially when you've completed almost all your passes. He's not led one Td drive during the time he was in this preseason. We could have hung on to Tuel to complete short safe passes.IMO
  15. We're not going 3-0 with Cassel leading this team. His play is so uninspiring and boring it will put the crowd to sleep, yawn. I'm feeling sleepy just talking about him. He's as Meh as Meh can get. The mellow icon is perfect for this occasion .
  16. You and me both. Tyrod and EJ have the offense moving in big chunks over and over this preseason. It's like all the life is sucked out of the offense when Cassel trots on the field.
  17. Ya got me on that one.
  18. I really don't think anyone would have got it if you hadn't done that. Oh, well.
  19. good/great are not the words I would use to describe Cassel's two outings. Ok, average, so-so maybe. He's done nothing Trent Edwards couldn't have done.
  20. Almost like he never played. Hmmm....
  21. My apologies Mr. Wayne, that's what I get for not reading the whole thread. On that line of thinking, I have not seen Tyrod make a throw like EJ's to Gragg or even the 2 in the end zone at the end of game #2 yet. But at the same time it doesn't mean he can't. I would have like to see Tyrod throw a couple of Tds in the red zone, it's the one thing that has been missing so far.
  22. Tyrod has thrown a total of 35 passes in his entire NFL CAREER. That's all Tyrod has under his belt is PRESEASON. So stop with the PRESEASON it's doing nothing for your side of the conversation.
  23. I'm sticking up for EJ, but it's what I want to see also. Give him another year to learn and work on his game. If he can improve as much this next year as the past year we Bills fans might actually have a real NFL QB. PS It's nice to see some who didn't care for EJ, such as yourself, be able to put that aside as see there is real improvement in his game.
  24. No I'm focusing on what was in front of me. None of the QBs has thrown a better ball than the one to Gragg in the 3rd Qtr.
