Week 8: SNF Packers at Bills (-10.5) 10/30 8:20pm

The offenses GB has faced and where they're rank in total offense: Vikings - 19th Bears - 28th Bucs - 23rd Pats*** - 13th Giants - 25th Jets - 17th It's not desperate, they're actually saying GB is as good as the Chiefs. We were favored by 2.5 at Arrowhead, would've been 5.5 at a neutral site and 8.5 at Buffalo. -

And we have the only starting QB in the league averaging over 300 yards a game(Believe or not Flacco averaged 300.3 in 3 starts). I don't think this game will be close and the fans will be going nuts with it being a night game, first game since beating KC and not seeing our team play in 2 weeks. Josh 341 yards passing, 48 yards rushing, 3 passing tds and 2 rushing tds. Bills - 48 Pack - 17. -
Will this be the year Josh Allen joins the 5000 club?
LOVEMESOMEBILLS replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh passed for 400 yards twice in 2020 and had another game at 375. He's done it before, it's just that year he dislocated his shoulder against the Raiders and his stats suffered for the next several weeks. There's several people saying he won't get it because he'll sit some 4th quarters. He's already sitting 33% of 4th quarters and is still well ahead of the pace he needs. Josh also has a chance to beat Drew Brees record of 347.63 total yards per game by a QB, Josh is currently averaging 372.8 He also has a chance at Peyton Manning's record of 3.5 total tds per game, Josh is currently averaging 3.2 -
Gabe Davis Mic'd Up versus the Chiefs!

That's what he do. -
Bills players have been appearing more and more over the last few years, but this year there's usually 2-3 Bills players a week. Von has a weekly appearance on Thursday and Poyer has been on several times. Gabe was also just on and Diggs was 2-3 weeks ago. I think Pat's a closet Bills fan lol. On a serious note he's always remarking on how sweet it is to watch the Bills offense.

I think Daboll has made it a point to try and establish a culture like McDermott did and it appears as though he's been successful. To answer the question it's Josh ****** Allen because I don't think Daboll is the best OC Allen has played for and he continues to noticeably improve this season. To be fair Josh would make any OC look really good, but Dorsey is better than Daboll in certain areas. One of those areas is finding ways to get Diggs the ball early and often. Last year when we would hear Diggs was being doubled, he would be a non-factor in the game. This year he's a factor in every game, Dorsey has been moving him around and finding ways to get him open. Daboll just didn't seem like he could do that.

I wouldn't say it's a must win for the Bills, far from it. First off it was supposedly a must win week 5 last year, despite winning we didn't get home field for the playoffs and we still lost to them in the divisional round. No Tre in the playoffs last year or today, but he should be back to his old self come playoff time. Also I think it's going to be real hard for either team to win both games this year. If that's the case give me the L this week.

I think they remind me of the 2017 Bills. Bad salary cap situation coming in with a bunch of bloated, bad contracts and them taking the hit this year to rectify it. Yet somehow they play ay above what is expected. The Bills had $54 million in dead cap when they cut and traded all those bad contracts away, the Giants have over $43 million in dead cap this year.

It was until it showed up in the Pats*** playoff game last year. Someone threw one in the endzone on New England's first td drive. And CBS showed it briefly on replay as they went to commercial.😂 I'm wondering if it was a listener of Pat's show. In the week leading up to the game he was practically begging Bills Mafia to throw one onto the field during the game.

Week 6: Bills at CHIEFS 10/16 4:25pm

For the life of me I don't get this train of thought, but we'll get back to that in a minute. No one said what he’s done is above average, he's just getting better results. Through 5 games he has 35 rushing attempts, last year through 5 weeks he had exactly 35 attempts. He's averaging 3 more pass attempts per game, are the 3 additional pass attempts going to get him injured? It's not like they're overworking him as compared to last year. Josh probably exposes his body more than any other QB, but this isn't new, he's played this way his whole career and he's only miss time due to injury once(Rookie year, I believe 4 games). That one time was when he was hit while in the pocket. He's never been injury prone and Sunday's game will be his 61st consecutive start(Nearly 4 full seasons worth). Since his hot start in 2020 people on TV and fans have been shouting this from the roof tops rammng it down people's throat. And he just keeps playing the same way, start after start. Both he and teammates have stated the way he plays gives the team a spark & fires them up, why would mess with that? When Josh shows a willingness to run early in games this offense becomes the most dangerous and most difficult offense to defend. Could he get hurt, sure, but after the last 4+ years of him always getting back up, I don't fear him getting hurt any more than any other player on the team. I actually fear it less. He's tough as nails, farm boys are just built differently. Anyways I, for one, am not going to tell the best QB in the game how he should play the position. -

Totally agree. Also if Gabe wasn't playing on a bad ankle for 2 weeks we would be blowing the doors off them in points. This offense is a completely different animal when he's healthy. -

A follow up to my last paragraph....Only 6 teams have more yards than Josh has and only 3 teams have more tds than Josh's 16(14 passing - 2 rushing). -

Just to put some numbers to the rankings........As far as the offenses are concerned the Chiefs are #1 in scoring while we are #2(31.8 vs 30.4). We though are #1 in yards while they are #6. We out gain them by 59 yards(440.4 vs 381.4). Our points allowed on defense is T-#1 while theirs is #24, they're giving up more than twice the points we are(12.2 vs 25.0). We are #2 in yards allowed while they are #14. They give up 78.8 more yards per game(260.4 vs 339.2). We are T-#1 in takeaways while they are #28. We almost have triple their takeaways(11 vs 4), they don't even average 1 per game. Maybe my favorite stat of this week...The Chiefs have 1,907 yards this year on offense, Josh by himself has 1,876 yards. Which means the entire Chiefs offense only has 31 more yards than Josh has. Crazy. -

Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation
LOVEMESOMEBILLS replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Najee is not that good, he's kinda sorta a power back who struggles to make big plays. Out of the 376 carries he's had in his career only 5 have gone for 20 yards or more and his longest to date is only 37 yards. In the same amount of time Josh has had 157 carries with 10 going for 20 yards or more. Singletary has 6 on 150 less carries. -
I don't think the Bills are concerned about picking up a RB at this time. Between Daboll & now Dorsey, since the start of the 2020 season, they really don't seem to care about establishing a run game. I thought that might change with Dorsey calling the plays now, but it hasn't. Plain and simple I think they both haven't wanted to take the ball out of hands of the best and most dangerous player in the league too much. They average about 4.7 yards per carry between the 3 RBs. They're not electing to run because they haven't been getting yards, but Josh's averages for both rushing and passing attempts is quite a bit better than the RBs 4.7 yards per play.

I think, by far, the most important question is do the Chiefs have an answer for Josh, not can the Bills stop Kelce. Through the first 5 weeks the Chiefs have 1,907 total yards. Josh has 1,876 total yards by himself, only 31 yards less than the entire Chiefs offense. He's on pace to shatter Drew Brees record for the most total yards per game average for a season by a QB(347.63 vs 375.2). And is really close to Peyton Manning's record of most total TDs per game average for a season by a QB(3.5 vs 3.2). Add to that the most passing yards this year, 2nd most passing TDs, most total TDs and 4th best QB Rating and it's clear to see KC coming up with ways to stop him is the most important aspect of this game. GO BILLS!!! -
Maybe we are, maybe we're not. I'm not here to decide for you, but let's take a look at some facts, as for Geno Allen crushes his stats so why would he be considered the best QB? Anyways let's take a look at some stats and facts... Offense: Yards per game - #1 Points per game - #2 Defense: Yards allowed per game: #2 Points allowed per game: T-#1 Takeaways - T-#1 Currently we have a 91 point differential which is on pace for a 309.4 point differential, 2nd greatest of all-time. And the back half of our schedule is much easier than the front half. Now to be a truly great team you need a dominant player, enter Josh Allen. Most total yards per game by a QB/season: Drew Brees - 347.63 YPG Josh this year - 375.2 YPG Most total TDs per game by a QB/season: Peyton Manning - 3.5 TDs per game Josh this year - 3.2 TDs per game If Josh was his own team and thusly we removed Buffalo from the rankings, Josh would rank T-#3 in total TDs with 16 and he would rank #7 in total yards with 1,876. People seem to be loving KC's offense of late. KC's total yards 1,907 - Josh by himself 1,876. J. Cook scored his first TD of his career at the 10 minute mark of the 4th quarter in Sunday's game against the Steelers, it was the 1st TD this year that Josh hadn't thrown or ran it in. I've never heard of something like that happening this far into the season and I've been watching football since the 70's. Right there is a list of stats and facts supporting that they may indeed be on pace to being considered one of the greatest all-time teams ever and definitely one of the greatest since the salary cap came into effect.

That because they've played in great weather this year.... • Week 1 - Dome • Week 2 - At KC(Night Game) • Week 3 - Dome • Week 4 - At Tampa(Night Game) • Week 5 - At KC(Night Game) They haven't even had to play in any type of heat as all their games are either in a Dome or played at night. Bet they didn't have to play in scorching heat or a remnants of a hurricane or even 20+ MPH swirling winds. Give us their weather and I'd bet we'd be averaging at least a tuddy more per game. -

Running Backs Being a Dime a Dozen ??
LOVEMESOMEBILLS replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
Singletary, Moss and Cook average about 4.7 yards a carry this year on 77 attempts. There's 11 different RBs that have 77 carries or more. Of those 11 Henry(3.9), Mixon(3.1) & Elliott(3.8) average sub 4.0 a carry, yet they keep feeding them the ball. This is a choice, it's what both Daboll & Dorsey have elected to do with our offensive play calling. We're not running because we can't, we're not running because our QB is the most dangerous player in the game.
